I really love your Niku Soba ramen here! The meat in the Niku Soba is juicy and tender, with a naturally sweet flavor. The white noodles have a slight crunch, which makes them even more enjoyable. Out of the dozens of ramen shops I've tried, this is the most delicious one. I come here with my coworkers every week, and we always order the Niku Soba ramen and chicken buns, my favorite strawberry lychee boba tea.The sweet and tangy taste is amazing! We order the same thing every time. The service is very friendly, the restaurant has a beautifully refined atmosphere, and the music is lovely!

I was happy to learn about Ichiddo Ramen opening up recently near the hotel that I generally stay at in Eagan. It's roughly a five-minute drive over. This eatery is two doors down from Five Below, which I frequent often. I decided to have lunch here after watching the Vikings come back from a 33-point deficit to win their game. Still a bit shocked, I drove over and parked. There was plenty of parking in front of this eatery. I then walked in. A cheerful woman greeted me. I asked if there was a table for one. She led me to one. The interior is both cozy and compact. This eatery uses every inch of space well. I got a couple of menus. This place offers bubble tea, which is now the closest place by the hotel where I can get my fix. Another woman came over to take my order. I ordered the following items: - Lemon strawberry tea (no sugar and less ice) - Chicken karaage - Char siu ramen (asked that bamboo shoots be removed and added corn) The woman thought that I wanted strawberry green tea. Um, no. I pointed it out to her. At first, she didn't write a thing down. It wasn't until I got to my ramen order where I asked that the bamboo shoots be held and corn added that she wrote my order down. I wasn't sure whether what I had ordered would be correct when it got to me. It all worked out. My bubble tea came out first. The bubble tea was placed on the table, followed by a hermetically sealed straw. I am used to shaking my tea, taking the straw out of the plastic, and stabbing my drink with it. I got none of that here. The woman took the straw out of the plastic, didn't bother shaking my tea, tried stabbing the straw a few times, and basically plastered her fingerprints on my straw after she successfully poked my straw through my sealed drink. I can understand being helpful. However, that entire gestured grossed me out. I'd rather do it myself. I still drank my drink, though. It was perfect. I liked the strawberry and lemon flavours. It wasn't sweet, other than from the natural strawberry flavour. I hope that when you order drinks to go that this woman doesn't stab them with straws beforehand. My ramen came out next. Another woman had placed the bowl of goodness in front of me. Stabbing woman took the bowl away and asked the other woman whether the bamboo shoots were removed. The other woman confirmed and the bowl was returned in front of me. Again, weird. How about look at the bowl to see whether bamboo shoots exist before swooping in to take my lunch away from me? Maybe it's a serving improvement that this woman in particular needs help with. My ramen was comforting. I got three slices of char siu. They tasted yummy. However, I am so spoiled by the thick, large slices that I get from Ramen Misoya that these ones seemed so small. I would order extra char siu next time. I got half an egg, which was yummy. The corn and green onions hit the spot. I liked that the roasted seaweed was strategically placed on the side of the bowl, away from the broth. The broth could have been for flavourful. The noodles were chewy. It's a good bowl of ramen. The chicken karaage was crunchy. This place uses chicken thigh meat, which felt fancy and yummier than using white meat. The mayo was awesome. I paid with a credit card. My card was taken to the front for processing. There isn't a handy mobile machine here. I used the washroom before I left. It's at the back. It was clean and it's an individual stall. No complaints. I thanked everyone and left to throw money at Five Below. My go-to ramen place is still Oryza Poke and Ramen. If I didn't feel like driving ten minutes to get there, I'd return to Ichiddo for my fix. The stabbing of my bubble tea with a straw still seems weird to me. I'd rather do it myself, complete with shaking my drink up beforehand. (495)

I choose this place because I enjoy ramen. What stood out is the diversity of the menu and drinks. The spicy seafood ramen bowl is excellent. Broth is well balanced not too spicy and salty. Calamari is deep fried to perfection with the sweet / spicy sauce. Edamame comes out nice and warm with a sprinkle of salt that just attacks your pallet. Overall, I enjoyed this place and will be back. Now if your thinking should you go try... please go try because you won't be disappointed!!

Ate there today for the first time. Service was awesome and the place is very cozy. Ramen was on point and very good. Want to go back and try stir fried ramen. Wish they had a few more drink options, but overall very nice place.

Charming. That's the first word that came to mind when my husband and I decided to finally try one of Eagan's newest restaurants, charming. This wee little restaurant is spotlessly clean and very well staffed with friendly servers. August has been sweltering this year and ramen was the last thing I wanted, but my husband was insistent. I was pleased to see some lighter options on the menu, so I decided so order from the appetizer menu only. We both started with the specialty teas. I went with a mango green tea, with a low level of sweetness-and how cool is that option? My husband had the milk tea. The cups are brought to the table and served upside down-no worries, they are each sealed at the top. Mine was full of mango pulp and perfectly sweet for my taste. We ordered two apiece and found them so refreshing, we'd visit again just for the beverages. We started with my husband's favorite-gyoza. Hard to go wrong with that. These were served piping hot and the sauce was tasty. I chose a pork bun and the crab jalapeno appetizer. Loved them both and found them surprisingly light. Even my heat-averse husband enjoyed the crab jalapeno which had only a mild kick. My spouse opted for the seafood stir fry ramen which was noodles topped with stir-fried vegetables, shrimp, mussels, crab and fish, very little to no broth. He loved it. It was the perfect ramen for a hot summer night, a lighter ramen and a portion that was just right. I'm looking forward to another visit of this little MInnesota/West Coast chain. I like the condensed menu and the option to order beer or wine. It doesn't hurt that it's within walking distance of my house!

I been meaning to come try this place for a while and happy I stopped by to find this gem. This is a small place that seats probably 20. The atmosphere is nice and laid back. The crispy fried chicken ramen broth is nice and light and silky and coats the ramen as you slurp it up. The char siu pork ramen broth was thick and delicious. The ramen has a nice bounce/chew to it. We also had the crispy chicken bun and char siu pork bun. It was fried to perfection. I would of liked more veg in the bun to balance out the fried foods but happy over all. I can't wait until it gets colder so I can enjoy it more. They also have bubble tea that is great for the kids and adults.

A MUST GO! A must try to find room in your belly to fit their generous portions of deliciousness. The dumplings were perfectly steamed with a properly seasoned and portioned meatball. The beef stir fry ramen was out of this world. My boyfriend and I both agreed we'd order it again, again. His kimchi ramen bowl had a flavor packed broth and all the extra fixins' leaving a very stuffed boyfriend. Quickly served by pleasant and helpful staff. Overlook the strip mall entrance and enjoy every slurp.

Tried this for lunch, service is really good. Got my food really fast too. I tried the Chicken stir fry ramen and it was probably the best ramen I've ever had. The chicken was really good too. It's basically lo mien and it's really good. I will definitely be coming back for this dish, maybe try something else. The menu is pretty big and they have a lot to offer priced just right. I need to try one of their tea's next time too!

One of the plates he brought to the table also had food stuck on to it. The quality of the spicy tuna on the Minnesota Roll was not as expected, seemed like a well dressed canned and scooped tuna salad, and the crab is clearly imitation crab. Good atmosphere and service, but the food was less than. My friend seemed to enjoy her chicken teriyaki though.

Usually there is a very nice young girl working the front. Today I decided I wanted lunch while I take a break from DoorDashing. As I'm walking back there an older crabby woman with a permanent frown moved the phone away from her mouth and yelled, "excuse me"! I looked at her in shock and said, "I'm going to use the restroom". I'm 36 and something like this has never happened in all my years of life. Why on Earth would I walk to the back of the restaurant with a secret agenda!? People usually wash their hands before they eat anyways. I 100% feel like she said that to me because I am brown. I use the restroom at many restaurants all day as a doordasher and I have never had someone try to stop me when it's very obvious where I was going. I've never written a review before but I think during the times we are in other brown people need to be aware of the microaggressions the Apple Valley staff, specifically the crabby old woman has toward brown people. This store is across from a Walgreens that I enjoy and a Dairy Queen that I had visited for the first time last month. I found this store easily. It's in a plaza with a bunch of other businesses. I backed into a spot and walked in. This store has Vietnamese, Chinese, and Thai items. It looks like a tiny store from its exterior, but there is so much to look at when you're inside. The aisles are narrow. If you require a walker or wheelchair, you will have a tough time moving around this store. The fresh produce and fridges containing drinks and more are on the left when you first walk in. You can get baguettes and banh mi sandwiches by the checkout area on the right when you walk through the doors. The ramen, vermicelli, and noodle section is impressive. I stood there in awe of everything that I was looking at. I was also impressed that there was a little section with Chinese ointments and hair dyes. I wish that it was more extensive. However, if you want white flower oil or tiger balm for your ailments and such, you are good getting them here. It was nice seeing packages of banh xeo flour. You can pretty much find everything that you need to make an authentic Vietnamese, Chinese, or Thai meal, from sriracha to cha chien. I saw huge jackfruit by the Pocky. I've never seen both products so close together in a store. You can tell that this store packs so many products in such tiny quarters. The snacks are decent, from coconut-covered peanuts, to shrimp-flavoured chips. I didn't buy anything, but I was curious to check this place out. The store accepts cash and most major credit cards, including Discover. I enjoyed browsing here. I'd return if I need any snacks or feel adventurous to make some banh xeo in my hotel room. (113)

I had so-so birria tacos (no consomme, single soft-corn tortilla) and so-so horchata (served in a sealed bag that looks like an IV pouch, actually kind of funny), along with a tasty and particularly juicy elote. My friend got the Asada Mulita and he quite enjoyed it. That seemed like a good deal for $9, and $4.90 per taco for what I got is okay. The ambiance absolutely does not rise above what you would expect from an unremarkable, utilitarian convenience store with a few tables that aren't routinely wiped down. You can order online (highly recommended) or from a screen near their covered-up window. Whenever a food place is clearly hiding its employees from its customers, I'm nervous that I will be ignored. But someone was constantly popping out and asking people what their names were, and telling them how many minutes they can expect to wait. (Waiting = standing next to the salty snacks shelves.) I see now that they have Al Pastor Chicken with Pineapple Pico and I definitely want to come back and try that. Maybe I'll raise my rating if I love it. Meanwhile, I'd recommend considering this at least for the experience, but order ahead and expect a 30-minute wait. Also note that they close at 7pm.
