KURIMICHIKIN

This place was different than I expected in a good way. It was in a food haul type place with a few different restaurants in the building. The staff was super nice and food was delicious, everything we had was very good! The atmosphere was cool, relaxed and welcoming.

Friendly staff in a cozy spot at Eat Street Crossing. Got the the fire dragon karaage and it was delicious. It's definitely firey so make sure you're okay with spice before ordering it.

Amazing ramen - the soup is so creamy and has some sweetness to it. The attach on tots is a must have. It is very rich - so we couldn't finish it. Maybe a few pieces was enough for me, but the air fried left over was amazing as well. Great food and great vibe. Will come back for more.

Thanks to a Tony Cu TikTok we checked this place out at Eat Street Crossing we ordered the Oboreta Dango and kimchi fried rice to share while I ordered the Blaze of Rengoku ramen and my wife ordered the Kurimichikin. The Iboreta Dango were fabulous, some of the best gyoza we've had...little flavor bombs! The same could be said for the kimchi fried rice even though we only had a few bites it was every bit as delicious the next day for breakfast with some fried eggs on top. Last but not least the ramen! Rich and wonderful and loaded with stuff other than noodles. We both agreed the Blaze of Rengoku was the better bowl, but both help to place Staff Meeting in our top 3 favorite ramen places in the metro.

Chef was friendly and the energy inside was welcoming. You could tell he loved what he was doing and that says a lot. The space is perfectly decorated with tons of anime features and and open kitchen feel. There is a huge open space to sit right outside of the restaurant which I loved, you had more than enough space. The ramen broth was spicy and flavorful. All the toppings were really good. I wish the pork belly was a little more charred but that's a personal preference. The take out wings were super crispy and juicy and had good flavor. I am already thinking about when I can get this again!

The ramen and wings at Staff Meeting are amazing and the staff is super friendly - the main chef gave my boys Pokemon cards! My family of 4 enjoyed our dinner there this past Sunday. My two boys also liked being able to see the kitchen and how our food was being made. Seating right at Staff Meeting is slightly limited but there is plenty of seating in the broader Eat Street Crossing area. Highly recommend, especially for ramen!

Met at ESC with a group of foodie friends. We were all set at eating at Staff Meeting after seeing all the foodie content on social media. The menu has items that don't list what's in the dish and this limits me a bit as I don't eat seafood, beef or pork and need to know if that's involved before spending my money on it. I asked the employee if the moms fried rice had beef/pork or seafood in it and he said he didn't know but before he finished another employee from the back cut him off, so I skipped it. Some others in our party said it might have pork but turns out - find out days later it doesn't have any meat. There was also a bit of language barrier as we ordered certain items the employee was trying to tell us certain dishes had fish sauce, which I appreciate the warning. We ended up ordering 4 apps. OBORETA DANGO (DROWNED DUMPLING) - veggie version THEM "TAKE OUT" WINGS ATTACK ON TATER - w/ chicken chashu DRAGONS BREATH The dumplings and tater tots were good. The wings and dragons breath were decent and crispy however we encountered bloody chicken at which point I get pretty grossed out. The space is small we did see a big tub of cooked chicken further back and wondered if they just flash fry it and add the sauce. We also seen a huge tub of raw chicken so maybe they cook it when you order but either way definitely need to make sure it's fully cooked. A few others ordered ramen and they weren't very impressed but I won't go into details as I didn't try it. It's a great concept but not sure I'd go back anytime soon.

Wow I have been missing out by not having been to Staff Meeting yet! Seriously everything we got was so delicious and fresh. The service was amazing and the serving sizes are quite generous! The ramen broth is the best broth I've ever tasted; the perfect amount of savory and sweet. The Attack on Tator tots were a hit with my whole group! Located inside Eat Street Crossing food building in the Whittier neighborhood of Minneapolis. There is plenty of seating inside the building along with several other restaurants. Street parking available. If you are wanting to eat delicious food while supporting local businesses this is a must!

Appa with Da Choppa

Staff Meeting is a colorful, welcoming restaurant inside Eat Street Crossing. I tried the Appa with Da Choppa ramen, which is their vegetarian option. There were so many different veggies and layers of flavor, it was definitely one of the best vegetarian ramens I've ever had! The grilled bok choy was an especially nice, smoky touch. The restaurant had a limited menu when I visited, so I look forward to trying some of their other items in the future.

I went here for trivia at Eat Street Crossing on Mondays. My partner and I come regularly but haven't tried much food there. We hadn't eaten so we decided to try out some of the restaurants there. The service was quick and the price was ok for the portions. It was later in the evening so it wasn't very busy, but eat street crossing itself is fairly popular in the evenings. I ordered the Vegetarian ramen. It came with cabbage, tofu, carrots, and mushrooms in a soy sauce based broth. Overall, this wasn't anything special. The broth was too salty for my taste and didn't have much depth in flavor. The veggies were nice but I would have liked more on there. The tofu was okay, it seemed likely pan fried. This is my first time going to a ramen place in Minneapolis so maybe my expectations were too high, but I'd skip and try a different place if you are vegetarian. It does seem like the meat options are popular, though.

Misleading menu: ordered the kimchi fried rice because the description included pork chasu. When it came out, the bowl looked good so I forgot about it but now that I'm seeing other's reviews and photos of the kimchi fried rice, I realize that mine didn't include the strips of chasu but instead just a fried egg. It was yummy, but not what I expected.

Classic Tonkatsu Ramrn

My friends and I ordered the classic tonkatsu Ramen, the mom's fried rice, and the dragons breath. I liked the ramen. The broth was a little salty, but the pork belly and the noodles were good. The dragons breath (chicken karaage) was really good. I loved the batter for the chicken and the spicy fish sauce that came with it. It was a great pairing. The mom's fried rice was kind of addicting. It didn't look that special, but the seasoning on the rice was delicious. It was light and flavorful. I would go back, get these dishes, and try more items on their menu!

I wasn't expecting to have a spiritual awakening when we randomly decided to pop into Staff Meeting but when I put those ribs into my mouth I think I saw God. Never had ribs this fall-off-the-bone good (please don't tell my mom). Couldn't even get a pic of them before they entered our faces. The classic tonkotsu ramen and rengoku tom yum ramen were both phenomenal. Chef Lou is so friendly and down to earth! Easily the best spot at Eat Street Crossing. Come here and give these good people your money!!

The servers were attentive and we did not even need to use the call button. Food came out quickly, it was delicious. The broth is flavorful, they add in a good amount of extra ingredients. I love bamboo and the was plenty of it in the bowl. The egg was cooked perfectly. The noodles have a great chewy consistency. It was filling and I even got a to go container. The ramen was still good the next day, not soggy as you'd expect. They have cayenne pepper and some pickled peppers if you want more spice to the ramen. The bubble tea here is also really good, it's nice and easy to order with the kiosks they have. The overall atmosphere is very nice, makes you feel like you are in Japan, they even have the umbrella bags for rainy days!

The place is bright and clean, and they also have a few private rooms! I got the Combo A, which included tonkotsu ramen, a pork bao, and matcha dessert. The pork bao and matcha dessert were just okay but the ramen was rich and comforting. The noodles were not too soft, and the pork was tender and flavorful. It doesn't compare to ramen I've had in Japan or even LA but it hits the spot when I'm craving it!
