Great space and quick service on the day my partner & I had lunch with friends. I love that it's next to Tous Les Jour and alto Matcha! We got the seaweed salad and the sukiyaki to share with the table. The seaweed salad was delicious and the sukiyaki was flavorful (noodles were cooked perfectly). I & a friend got the spicy tonkatsu ramen and it was well flavored and not too spicy. My partner got the regular tonkatsu ramen and it was on the blander side, but still good. The noodles were a little thin and I would've preferred the thicker noodles in my ramen. My other friend got the teriyaki Tori and this was my favorite dish to try! It was super well flavored, and on the richer side and the noodles!!! Amazing! Overall, pretty good experience. I would like to have more from the aburasoba section the next time I'm here.

There were highlights and mediocre moments in terms of the food taste, but I do think that overall this is a very good neighborhood gem to grab a bite on a day that one needs relaxation, especially with a boba shop right next door. I have been here twice, both on impromptu occasions, and both times have confirmed my impression of this spot as a neighborhood gem like I had previously mentioned. Majority of the highlights are with the main dishes like the abura soba, the chicken curry, and the sukiyaki don. They contained sufficient ingredients and good seasoning, and had enough ingredients on the side on the table to add to the dishes. I personally added more chili oil into the abura soba. The sukiyaki don needed a bit more taste in the rice, but the beef was very flavorful. In terms of the small plates, most of them leaned towards mediocre, which meant that they tasted pretty standard, such as the karaage and the kaki fry. For those that crave for them specifically, I definitely think these dishes are worth getting. I just don't think one should get them if they're trying to go for a "best" or even the "better" dishes within the establishment. The only item I was more critical about was the agedashi tofu, which was very soggy and tasted too plain. It didn't seem like a lot of effort was put into it. With all that said, though, I will probably return here because it's very effective at resolving a craving and a quick bite. I am also happy about the fact that it's in Richfield because the community can benefit greatly from it.

I enjoyed Kajiken, I expected average, got damn good instead. Cleaned my bowl! I liked the design of the restaurant, thoughtful to incorporation of cultural elementsp. I'm a sucker for noodles, the Homura was sooo yummy. Soft chewy noodles, balanced flavors, sweet, spicy, and savory. We also tried the fried oysters, karaage, and the fried squid. Fried on fried in fried, no regrets. I'd order any of these again. Bonus was the matcha place attached, we strolled right over for dessert afterwards.

i ordered take out and i was salivating the whole ride home it smelt so good. still hot after my 20 min ride home NOMd: - potstickers. the char would've smacked if i had it fresh. beautiful! flavor wise not my fav it kinda tasted like lamb and duck. - karaage. solid. big chunks BUT whoever filled the spicy mayo container was stingy asf wasn't even a 1/8 way filled. - tonkutso. not my fav broth but the char on the pork was perfect and the egg was super yummy. their green onions were also not too chewy

I have been to kajiken 3 times now and each time, their ramen is super consistent, tasty and great quality food! I have tried a few of their dry ramens, but the best one in my opinion is the original. It has a perfect amount of saltiness, vinegar and the charred pork belly is so delicious! The restaurant is designed so nicely and actually connects to the matcha ice cream and hot pot place next door. Service was very quick and the waiter was friendly. I am definitely coming back often!

I stopped in on a cool fall day to try their Ramen. Service was prompt, environment was comfortable, and everything seemed clean. This restaurant is combined with a hot pot spot, and a Matcha spot, for convenience! In my opinion, the ramen was just OK -- not a ton of flavor, but a good comfort meal on a cold day.

Heard about this place since it opened and glad to finally try it! My friend raved about this place when she first had it in Korea. This is my first time having abura soba and I got the Homura. It has a nice kick to it, but you can also add more chilli oil to suit your taste. Flavors overall was great, just a little salty. I recommend putting some vinegar to add more complexity. Service was ok, not the greatest. They weren't too attentive. My friend ordered an appetizer, but was told she never ordered it when it was the first thing she ordered. However, they did put in the order for us afterwards. The overall experience with service was not the greatest, but that shouldn't deter you from trying out the food.

We are always excited to check out new Ramen spots, but unfortunately there's simply better elsewhere. The space shares a parking lot with a couple other establishments and it was pretty busy the night we went so we had to circle around the building. The interior of the space is quite nice, clean, and inviting! Service was lacking, as the single server for the whole restaurant aimlessly wandered around and had to be flagged down to place our order. The food did come very quick after we ordered, which was nice. The food was just average, with a couple of key misses. The gyoza were the best part, as they were perfectly cooked and came with a salty dipping sauce! The Tonkatsu Ramen wasn't great...it came out luke warm, lacked flavor, and only had two thin slices of pork. If I were to go back, I might opt for the brothless Ramen as it likely has more flavor, based on the menu descriptions. I wouldn't recommend coming here for the broth.

I visited on a gloomy day so Iwas craving for ramen with soup. This place is really nice and new, I think they might be famous for their so up less ramen. I am hoping to come back and try those when its less cold out. I ordered the spicy tonkasu ramen and the noodle is thin but very chewy. Its one of the best ramen I had for a while. The dish came out very fast and the server was checking in with us for several times during our time here. Everything is on par. I love it! Will definitely come back again. I did not use the restroom but I think it is connected with other business.

Divine. If you're gonna come here, get a dry ramen. There's one here that I got that was so good that my friends and I all came back a second time to ALL get it. We asked for soup on the side just so we could still sip on ramen broth. Their chili oil is not super spicy, so if you're looking for a kick, I'm not sure if it's worth the add on! The store is also cute like you're in Japan because of all the wood paneling.

Such a fun place! Great vibe, with upbeat K-pop music playing overhead. Very clean, a pleasant atmosphere- would be great for a Lunch date with friends, or a fun new place for dinner with your honey. We ordered the Sukiyaki and added kimchi and a poached egg - they have 20 different options for add-on toppings, so there are literally over a MILLION different possible combinations! This Ramen is definitely different from the Ramen most of us grew up with here in MN. No brother, but lots of flavorful sauce that the chewy, hearty noodles soak up - mmmm! They forgot to add our egg, but they were gracious about bringing it right away when I asked about it. Service was quick and helpful when I inquired about catering possibilities. Will for sure come back!

I really enjoy the look of this place. The lighting and spacing is very welcoming and shiny. The service is also VERY fast. I feel like my apps and food were done and out within a few minutes. The items we tried: Appetizers Karaage- This was fresh and hot. Very tasty, and just enough oil for me Takoyaki- This was alright, not the best or the worst I ever had Oyster- This was alright, it was warm, but not the most flavorful Chicken Wings- Hot and tasty Main Dish Homura Aburasoba- This wasn't bad. I would have liked more spice. I did pay extra for the side of chili sauce, and it was a little dry, but added a decent kick

    Teriyaki Tori
    Sandy A.

This restaurant is connected to Kyo Matcha and the food is pretty good! Our service is standard. The Teriyaki Tori was very flavorful and had a lot of umami. The age tofu was alright. I think it was textural aspect I didn't enjoy, but that's more of a personal thing. Overall, I loved the vibe and very clean!

Food was okay, wish portions would have been larger and had more flavor. It was pretty bland compared to other ramen I've had.

The food is just "OK". The place is run by Gen Z children. Their attempt on automation - is silly. IMO skip it.

Cream cheese - typical but kind of small Chicken Katsu- crunch outside and not dry inside Ramen- from the presentation, does not look creamy. It also did not taste creamy. Doesn't have the typical tonkotsu ramen taste I've had before. Broth is a little bland. The pork belly is basically pork belly and not the typically ramen chashu pork I'm used to. It was a disappointing bowl of ramen. Sushi- presentation wise, does not look fancy. The plating looks like what you would get at an all you can eat place. Per husband, it was decent good. As for me, based on ramen, I would not go back for that. Maybe next time I will give sushi a try but not sure if it's a god back to place. If you want $5 appetizers, it's worth a try.
