Custom hot pot with all the noodles and ingredients so fresh and broth so flavorful. Just looking at it makes me want more.

What a true gem in Minneapolis. We need to support this place and show it lots of love! You can taste the love in the food. Service with a huge smile and great knowledge and interaction. Genuinely and actively making certain you are comfortable and well fed. The hot pots are so bursting with flavor!! And it's a fun experience. My mom had the pad thai which smelled and looked phenomenal. Terrific ribs and variety. And fresh bubbly fruit drinks that refresh. Wonderful art and pristinely clean place. So good. Good people good food great place. Go again and again. Parking is easy and you will feel welcome. Everyone in our group was pleased and every bite amazing.

We have the Szechuan spicy broth. The broth was super great! The service was amazing as well! The only thing is the price was a little higher compared with other hotpot places. Overall was a good place to try.

This was a fun experience. You select one of five hot pot options and then can add on with various proteins, veggies and sauces. We also ordered the egg rolls and one hot pot plus the app and would have been enough for the two of us. It felt like I was making a potion putting all the ingredients together. A cool interactive meal. There weren't many of us in the restaurant yet we were left by our server for about 40 minutes. We had to ask for our check and ended up being late for our show. Another worker helped us pay and package up our leftovers and was quick and pleasant. My only other complaint is the lack of knowledge by our server. We had a couple of questions which she didn't know the answer to. Rather than seeking the correct information she told us incorrect information.

Tom Yum soup base, all-beef meat upgrade

I'm really torn with how to feel about Jasmine 26. The space has been really nicely updated with all new decor and tables, the service was outstandingly warm and welcoming, and the food was high quality and tasted great. Easy 5 stars it would seem! The issue is pricing here. Each personal hotpot starts at ~$20, and comes with a small plate of meat, noodles, and veggies depending on which one you order. We tried the Tom Yum and Classic Szechuan broths, and both were great. If you have a modest appetite and are ok with how the sets come as-is, I'd say it's a strong value. However, upgrading to all-beef (beef and chicken mixed is standard) is an upcharge, and since the base comes with only 7 pieces of beef, you'll likely want to order another plate for ~$5. If any appetizers or a drink catch your eye, you're looking at $45 out the door--typical hotpot pricing--for a fairly small number of items by hotpot standards. If Jasmine 26 existed in a vacuum where you couldn't go to other all you can eat hot pots in the city (Little Szechuan on University or Kung Fu hotpot also in Uptown) for a similar price, or other personal pot places (Tasty Pot in Dinkytown) for half that price, I'd recommend this wholeheartedly. As it stands, unless you really want to try some of the Vietnamese-inspired broths, Jasmine 26 doesn't offer the best value proposition. I have no issue spending a lot on food, but when other places do it better and cheaper, it's tough to feel good about it. I truly hope they do well with this new concept though, as the service was truly fantastic and I love to see the growth of restaurants like this in the city.

Food here is great! Came here because wanted to try hotpot's and saw it online. The appetizers and cocktails are definitely the stars of my mean in my opinion. Every side was savory and full of flavor. The pineapple drink was so refreshing. I will definitely be retuning for more of their sides and drinks. Service was very kind and walked me though what hot pot was and how to order. I would definitely bring someone on a date here or come with 3-6 friends. It's family friendly but the cocktails and sides make a great hang out spot with bites. Parking can be tough but back roads will have parking, you just have to look!

We had such a great experience at Jasmine 26! The decor is modern and clean. We made a reservation for a party of 8. We started appetizers with Coconut Cream Cheese Wontons. They were sweet and crispy with a nice coconut flavor. We all had our individual hot pots- I went with the spicy Szechuan and egg noodles- spicy yet delicious! The included beef, chicken, and veggies were all I needed, but there were plenty of a la carte items as well. Staff was incredible. We'll be back!

We had no idea where to go, but heard to go down an alleyway behind up-down and then saw a random door that we had no idea was the entrance until another group came over! We knocked and they slid the door hole open to speak, it was so fun! Felt like a real speakeasy. Once we were in, we were seated in the back. There was an hour and 1/2 limit, but that was plenty of time for us to have a drink. I ordered the Me Espresso and my husband ordered the special of the day, which was a scotch with a special twist. Both were delicious! Definitely a little pricier, but the atmosphere made up for the cost. Overall I would definitely recommend! Next time we may wait for a booth to be served out of a window in the wall, did not know about that until we got there! Such a fun touch.

It says on the menu, red or white and he didn't know what either brand was or the food specials on the menu. sometimes it took a while for him to come over because he was chatting up another booth behind us. We ordered the chicken that was on the menu and it was a very small piece of chicken and it was supposed to come with broccolini and there was three skinny little stalks, and there was some kind of purée underneath it. Not sure if that was potatoes or what, but the chicken had a very good flavor. It was just very small. That's my complaint on that so we ended up ordering the sweet potato fries and that was a good portion and very good. I would definitely order those again. There is parking behind the building, but you need a parking pass to park there.

Table for 4 and we ordered the beef empanadas and tomahawk steak with some wine and beer. Empanadas were delicious. Flaky and nice amount of stuffing. Just wish they were bigger! Only one comes in an order. We ordered the tomahawk and were told that it can take up to 45 minutes. It wasn't a problem for us since we were ok with taking our time with the empanadas and conversations. Steak was huge with a large bone. Fragrance of rosemary. Also came with a side of 4 sauces/chimichurri. The steak comes with a choice of two sides. We ordered the sautéed veggies, mashed potatoes, and added garlic mushrooms. Sides were standard, nothing special but serving size was small in comparison to the size of the steak. Overall everything was good! Not mind blowing and our overall tab for the steak, 2 empanadas, 3 glasses of wine and 3 beers was around $230.

They described it as an upscale dive bar which I laughed at for sure, but when I went I would say that exactly how I would describe it. It's dark and moody, but very funky and hip with the neon walls and lights. It's very small, behind the new Public Domain space. Seems like the hostesses direct people waiting on a spot there to Neon Tiger while they wait. We were able to snag one of the last tables after we ordered (there are about 5 tables for 2, and 3 standing bar tables from what I remember). The menu isn't large - it has a couple of beers, some basic cocktails and lists spirits and mixers. The only new and exciting thing on the menu is their slushy cocktails. Good news is that this place isn't very pricey, but the portions aren't huge. My small espresso martini was $12, my boyfriend's beer didn't quite look like a full pint but was only $4. We did laugh that it was called Tiger piss. The espresso martini is good, but beware there's no actual cream liquor in the drink - they seem to squirt some foamy concoction from an unmarked squeeze bottle in a fridge on top, which was interesting. Overall, would come back here if I was bar hopping for cocktails - but wouldn't go out of my way to try it again. Great idea to send people here while waiting for Public Domain!

Nightingale was packed, but fortunately, once two patrons saw my face from the bar, they quickly paid their bill and left. My face often compels people to vacate crowded establishments in Minneapolis, and we often find seats. After grabbing the two seats, we ordered wine and a wonderful Amaro-based cocktail. Jules was our bartender/server, and although he was crazy busy, he found time to be gracious to us. We ordered the meatball appetizer, halibut, and the Nightingale hamburger. My halibut was sublime, cooked perfectly, and it wasn't drowned in sauce. Bravo! The meatballs were tender and delicious, but the hamburger was not memorable. It was good, not great. Despite all the accolades above, when the bill came, I was charged two dollars after requesting a cucumber slice for my Pimms Cup. Perhaps the source of this pettiness came from the kitchen, but it wasn't smart, because the $2.00 charge placed a shroud over my experience. The bill was $125, and because of the petty two-buck charge, I only left a $25 tip. I was going to leave a $30 tip. I will sadly remember those 2 bucks forever. It was a myopic move and a passive-aggressive way to handle my request. In my birthplace home of NYC, a bartender would have said, "Getting a cucumber slice is a pain in the rear, would you mind skipping it?" My response, "Sure, it's not a big deal."

The service was genuinely friendly and pleasant throughout our visit, which went a long way. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the setting. I tried the NY Strip special, which was fine but nothing memorable - exactly what you'd expect, no more, no less. The oysters were disappointing for the price point; the quality just wasn't there. The mushroom bruschetta similarly underwhelmed - it felt like it was missing something to make it stand out. The bright spot? The drinks were solid and well-crafted. I wanted to rate this higher based on the atmosphere and service alone, but at the end of the day, the food has to deliver. With so many great options in Minneapolis, Nightingale needs to step up its culinary game to match its lovely setting. I'd consider returning for drinks, but probably not for dinner.
