    Pina colada slushy

Small speakeasy style bar in the back of Public Domain - I asked about the slushies and the bartender recommended the pina colada one over the spicy marg style slushee they had, and it was great! Bartender was friendly, drinks were done right away, overall a great place to sit and wait for your spot at Public Domain or a fun place for a drink regardless.

New speakeasy in Minneapolis! Stumbled upon this gem while waiting for our table at Public Domain (another 10/10 place.) My husband and I both got the piña colada slushy - we loved them! Loved the vibe. Can never go wrong with good strong drinks and a throwback hip hop playlist. We did not order any food, but it smelled amazing. Will definitely be coming back to introduce our friends to this place.

The boozy slushies were amazing. Really enjoyed the overall vibe. I will definitely be coming back.

We had to ask an employee and they showed us to the upstairs area where they had a ceremony and reception area. This was a more intimate wedding and the space for it was very nice for it. They were able to decorate it so it was very elegant. The bar did get busy during happy hour but they moved along quickly. The food was served buffet style. We got salad, mashed potatoes, pizza and a choice of beef or chicken. The portion seemed small to me. They did offer more pizza later on in the night. The dance floor was roomy enough for the people that were there. We had such a great time celebrating here! Parking was not bad either. They had a few lots and street parking around but they also did rent out a lot that we used that night. They had a family member shuttle too since it was freezing that day! There are also hotels around the area for those who decided to stay.

Contrary, when you only get so many warm months in MN, it's best to take advantage. Known for their vast array of pizzas, my table split a fancy Bahn Mizza (mirrored after a Bahn Mi sandwich) pizza along with a traditional pepperoni. Both were exceptional! Make sure to check the menu out in advance as there were some pretty cool options such as Carolina BBQ and Taco Truck. In addition, there are plenty of fun drinks such as frozen ones, wine, beer, and mocktails (shout out mocktails). The service was great and accommodating considering the live bands performing. They had their concept down to a T and placed wrist bands when entering after collecting the fee. Note: you can save money if you buy concert tickets online as opposed to at the show. Clean Plate Club rocked it per usual. If you haven't heard of this band, check them out. They are going to play at my wedding! Rock on, Day Block Brewing!!

The patio is a huge highlight. It's spacious, well set up, and perfect for enjoying drinks outside, especially in the warmer months. There are games to play, plenty of seating, and a really fun, laid-back atmosphere that makes it easy to spend a few hours there without even realizing it. The food is also a standout, which isn't always the case at breweries. We especially love the pizza and the elote fries, both are consistently delicious and pair perfectly with their drinks. It's nice to have food options that go beyond the basics and actually feel like a reason to come back. The staff has always been super friendly and patient, even when it's busy, which we really appreciate. It makes the whole experience feel welcoming and easy. Inside, the space is just as great. There are two levels and games you can play, so there's plenty to do no matter the weather. Overall, this is one of our go-to spots and somewhere we find ourselves coming back to again and again.

Our table was like a big king table and it was hard to converse. Wouldn't recommend for a large group. We split a few appetizers. I did not like the wontons. We got two different wings. I would say the menu is correct on spice scale. Our waiter recommended chipotle saying it would not be spicy. It was too spicy for me. I loved the maple bourbon wings and would get them again. They are wet. I ordered the classic juicy Lucy and waffle fries. The juicy Lucy did not disappoint!! Yummy! The waffle fries were not crispy and were not hot. Dirty dishes sat while we waited for our meal. Dirty dishes sat while we ate our meal. Dirty dishes sat when we were done our meal (like the same app dirty dishes!). Even after we paid the bill, there was still a lone dirty plate with chicken wing bones. Gross. They were amazing at clearing empty glasses and replenishing drinks- dishes, not so much.

It's usually not hard to find a spot but be prepared to walk a block or two if it's a busy day. I prefer their patio when it's open, but their indoor dining is a nice vibe too. I was originally lured in by their happy hour. The rail drinks are ridiculously cheap, but honestly, their regular cocktails are worth ordering instead. I'm a loyal blueberry margarita fan, but in the summer they bust out a blueberry mojito--only when the mint is in season. Trust me, if it's available, get it. As for food, I can be a bit of a mac-and-cheese snob, but the bang bang mac is pretty solid. Not life-changing, not anything special, but I've ordered it more than once, which says something. The French onion soup, however? Let's just say I will not be revisiting that journey. I love French onion soup, but this one and I did not spiritually align. Service is fine--slower when it's packed (shocking, I know). But everyone is friendly. Overall, Off the Rails is a good stop if you're already in the neighborhood. I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but if you're nearby and hungry, it gets the job done.

All their "non bourbon barrel" beers are really interesting and ended up being really fun. All-in-all I ended up trying 9 beers this year and the only ones I wasn't a fan of was the ice wine. I hadn't had food there before, though. The pretzel is not the type I usually like. It's a denser, paler dough and stuffed with cheese. Personally I'd like a traditional Bavarian or pub one. The sweet potato fries on happy hour were excellent, though. That said: it is blasphemy to serve them with ranch and only ranch. Need a garlic aioli and/or marshmallow fluff to make it a must-order. You know I'll be back. Maybe not for food, but hopefully before the next beer week.

My daughter and I ordered the same thing with slight variations--Two Eggs, Potatoes, and Toast. I chose the Hen Potatoes which were amazing! Tender on the inside and slightly crisp on the outside--not greasy at all. My daughter had the hash browns, which were just as good--not greasy, but perfectly crisp and flavorful. The seven grain toast and jam were great and our scrambled eggs were cooked just how we like. My daughter also ordered a fruit cup, which was filled with a bigger variety of fruit than she expected and she loved it. I ordered a side of bacon and it was delicious. While the food wowed us, our service was just okay. She was polite enough, but did not check on us until we were well into our meal. Thankfully, we didn't need anything. Our check and my payment were dealt with promptly, which we appreciated. We also ordered a caramel roll to go and were very glad we did. Super tasty and not overly sweet.
