I've been meaning to try this place for a while now and the opp presented itself today! This margarita is very good and has the cutest garnish ever!! It looks like busting sun, but made with a lime! The medium is plenty big! The food was wonderful! I had the taco salad, but there are countless options that all sound spectacular! The salad was presented hot with a freshly made, crispy "bowl," tomatoes and guac! I couldn't eat it all! It's fun to watch the traffic stop while I'm fully relaxing and enjoying myself! read more

I've eaten there twice in a row, 5 pm moderately busy, very prompt service, very good Margaritas, very good Tacos, the Fish Taco 4.5 an the Chicken Tostada 5.0 stood out for me, had a Tamale, Enchiladas, 3.5 that were ok I had Ala Carte , $3.50-4.50, fair price. We ordered take out after moving a family member into an apartment in the area. When I arrived the food was all ready to be picked up at the front door in a nice bag to carry it out. The customer service was good and the staff was friendly. I rated this a 3 due to the taco salad being nothing special and lacking flavor. I ordered nachos as well and it lacked flavor and everything was very soggy (tough to do takeout with nachos I understand). The portions on the beans and rice where very generous but the price for everything seemed very high for what we received. We will try a different restaurant next time we're in the area. read more

This is your typical sit down Mexican restaurant. Nothing too fancy. The service was good, and the food was too. The burrito was decent, but it could have used more steak and the guacamole salad looked a little sad. I liked the salsa and cheese dip a lot. My wife and I stopped in for cinco de Mayo.!!! They had tons of staff great attitudes and the food came quick. We got our order to go and with buying 3 entrées we had enough chips and salsa extra to fill a 1 gal ziplock bag. Drinks are great you want a margarita you'll get it. Fine food, bad service. I got veggie fajitas, no cheese, no sour cream. On the phone, partway through my order, they switched the phone to someone else as they were having trouble understanding me. The new person on the phone also had a hard time answering my question "do the refried beans have lard or dairy?" When I got home I noticed the beans and rice and lettuce container had tons of sour cream, and I had to drive 20 minutes back to have them remake it. They weren't friendly about remaking it at all. I have been to many Mexican restaurants during the last 50 years in many states and multiple countries. Some were excellent, some were good, and some were bad. Having multiple Mexican restaurants to dine at near Savage, we went to the El Parian Mexican Restaurant Savage on Thursday, February 8th, and found the food to be by far the worst Mexican food that we had ever tasted and, in my opinion, not edible and I was only able to finish the rice and beans, although the beans most likely have come from a can. My Chilly Colorado was nothing more than over-salted chopped beef with catch-up or some sauce. The waiter was quick, in fact, too quick. Two minutes after we arrived, he was ready to take our order. Then, he kept coming back to the table once every two minutes until we got tired of him and ordered. Five minutes after the order was placed, we were served the worst Mexican meal we had ever had. read more

I've ordered from here via doordash twice now, and I can honestly say they are absolutely amazing, and I wish there wasn't a pandemic or else I'd eat at the restaurant to try the food fresh! The California burrito and the Nachos with beef and beans are both my absolute favorites, the nachos aren't soft or soggy even after delivery. The burrito has a perfect combination of ingredients, to where not a single flavor is overpowering the others. If I could give more than 5* I would. I have frequented this place several times now, and have to say I've grown disappointed. I often order takeout, and always tip 20% or higher, usually ahead of time on good faith. I get that things are hard during these times, and my complaint is not about long wait times. I'm happy to wait for good food. But the food and service (especially when you tip ahead of time on a takeout order) has seriously been lacking the last couple of times. The last time I went in was the last straw. I stood in the doorway with 3 separate waiters walking by looking me in the face and not saying a word. They each went to and from the 4 tables seated outdoors (as the dining room wasn't open yet) without greeting me. After about 15 minutes, I flagged a waiter down, pointed to the bag that had my name on it, asked him if everything was in the bag, and if it was ready. He said yes, it was and all there... got home and nope, it wasn't there, and it was cold and the food wasn't seasoned very well. I'll drive further for more consistency. I'm really sad, too, because I loved it when they first opened. read more
