I'd think twice before taking out, or having dining here. This restaurant really struggles with consistency and sometimes it's decent, and other times the meat is burnt with no flavor. For example, Today I ordered a torta de pollo adobado, and tacos de Carnitas and what I got was my biggest fears when ordering from here; Burnt, soggy and tasteless slop. Ahhhh, the 4.5 dilemma: round up or down... I decided to go up for the fantastic corn shells on the delicious street tacos. Thick - yet soft and pliable - no tears, no sogginess. A+++ We ordered 3 street tacos: Asada, Carnitas & Chicken Tinga (asada, while still good was the least favorite), all were simple protein, white onion & cilantro, as they should be. The meats were juicy & the salsa brought a tear to the eye of my heat loving husband- not sure if it was the unexpected kick or if it was joy... we were very pleased. Also ordered a super fish taco (good) & chips with chorizo queso... the chips were standard tortilla chips & the queso was thin - the consistency of milk thin... tho quite tasty. We get this at least once a week. The shrimp tacos are fantastic, we also love the birria, barbacoa, & chicken tinga. The chips are so good that you want to eat them even without guacamole or queso, we rotate which we get. Note, the queso has a bit of spice to it! The esquites are fire as well. I recommend ordering ahead of time & doing pickup as it can take a bit to get your food. The prices are extremely reasonable & the food is quality. The birria tacos and consommé tasted the same as the one in new hope, but the bathroom was awful. The bathroom was a little bit clean but the sink was so powerful it got me and my power wheelchair wet, which is dangerous. The wait time was still fast tho. read more

These were the best tortillas I've ever had. The service was fairly quick but you could tell everything was handmade fresh. There's a fair amount of seating inside and some seating outside on nice days. If you're taking it to go I would suggest ordering online ahead of time as there's usually a pretty long line. 10/10 would recommend (we went here two days in a row it was so good). If you like tacos, you NEED to try Que Taco's street tacos with any of the proteins. The taco itself is really simple and straightforward, with only cilantro, onions, and salsa with your meat. But honestly, it doesn't need anything else! My personal favorite proteins are the carnitas, chicken tinga, and barbacoa. My husband likes their burritos. They are pretty large and the ratio of ingredients is well balanced. As someone who can handle fairly spicy food, i was not prepared for how spicy some of hot sauces were! I liked the orange one and light green one, but drizzle them on sparingly! Their chips and guac were delish, too! I struggled holding back 1 star as this little restaurant has a lot of good things going for it. The reality is, they could do a tad better -- and if they do, I'll dig out the 5th star. I've only been here once and should probably wait before posting a review, but I'm a bit of a taco snob. I went today based on the positive reviews from other Yelpers. And THANK YOU for your reviews. I LOVED it. But back to my taco snobbery. I like authentic tacos, not the Americanized version of Taco Bell or Taco Johns. Give me fresh meat, sweet white onions, generous amounts of cilantro and then a squeeze of lime -- with some spicy salsa -- and I'm ALL IN. If that's not your version of a taco -- they do have an "Americanized version" (no kidding) -- but I didn't try it. The authentic version (I chose Carnitas/Pork) was spectacular. A very fresh corn tortilla (not something I'd normally mention, but it was so good I felt obliged) and a generous amount of meat, onion and cilantro - along with 2 side salsas, both which were tasty! I will definitely be coming back. As for the minor 'room for improvement'... The store could use some fresh decoration. 2 mexican hats on 1 wall and a string of lights on the other does not constitute 'decoration'. The service could have been a tad friendlier. It would have been nice to have a NUMBER assigned so they could call out my number instead of yelling out my order (which was tough to hear due to the non-English speaking announcer). And the place is a pretty small. That all said - this experience has (at least temporarily) rearranged my ordering of taco joints and dropped La Hacienda Taqueria (in Burnsville) down a notch to 3rd place. Got Queso, the barbacoa burrito bowl, an Asada American taco no sour cream, and a Chicken Adobado American taco no sour cream. The barbacoa beef was really good, not as spicy as the C chain restaurant but I felt was better tasting. The asada taco was fine needed pico or something more. The chicken taco was really good, the chicken had good flavor. The tacos came with a lime and a little side of green sauce. That green sauce was quite spicy. I think the only complaint I have is we order chips and queso, and the queso came with a greasy meat inside, which we assumed was chorizo, but again we didn't expect that. There's a nearby Goodwill, so while doing some thrifting I've stopped here a few times, and last week was re-reminded how good the taco's are! This time I ordered two asada tacos and dumped the entire contents of each complimentary salsa container (one red and one green - one slightly more spicy than the other,) and they were equally delicious. Beautiful and productive day, though long. My Irishman and I had hoped for a date, but he's got something to take care of, too. Is it already 9:30 pm? Well, that crosses off just about anything within 15 minutes that doesn't involve a bar, lounge, or a bad review already left. Good places close so early in sleepy little Burnsville. Sigh. Two more Mexican shops pop up. I'm not craving Mexican right now, but I'm low on options. Sure, why not. I call ahead for an asada bowl at the newer, better-rated of the two. The space is cozy, clean, and bright. The two teammates are wrapping up for the night. Two to-go orders sit on the counter waiting for their hungry diners. Mine looks enticing. I feel myself becoming more interested in my dinner. A promising start. While he's ringing me up, the male teammate continues emptying the beverage dispensers by the register. I add a large hotchata. I don't get Mexican often enough, so why not. Burrito bowls come in two schools of thought: with tortilla, or without? Que Taco is a without follower. The bowl is still warm, and heaped full. It doesn't look like much at first glance, but that's because everything is squished into the bowl. Make no mistake, this thing is immensely filling. I started out the meal missing the chew of a good tortilla - a feeling quickly replaced by how full I was getting even without that additional carb source. For being the last order of the night, the lettuce was crisp, the asada not dried out, none of the ingredients looked remotely sad. They also definitely didn't skimp on any ingredients - not even the guac, which is definitely *not* extra. In fact, it's a healthy heap so plentiful that you have to scrape some of it off of the lid when you open the bowl. Om nom nom. Loving the creamy red sauce on the side - slightly spicy, but with character. I should have asked for limes before leaving. Burritos and tacos tend to taste too savory to me without a good tangy kick to cut the heavy salt and oil content. The hotchata isn't as creamy as it looks like in the dispenser. It's not watery per se, nor overwhelmingly sweet, which is appreciated. That said, it's very basic and lacks character. I'll dig up my cinnamon and tweak it a bit, at least. I'll be back with my Irishman in tow. Meanwhile, at least half of this bowl is destined to be my breakfast tomorrow. Because my Irishman remains decidedly not a spicy meatball. Darn. read more

Found this place while driving around town looking to try some new food. We stopped I to que taco, small hole in the wall restaurant, not a lot of seating or decor on the walls but fairly easy to access. We ordered the enchilada with green sauce and the corn in a cup, (esquite). The enchilada were pretty good but I feel like the tortillas were very soggy like almost mush on mine, not too much flavoring on the chicken at all, and the sauce was pretty spicy so if you order be prepared for some heat. The esquite was pretty good but the hills powder they put on was pretty sour. And I think over priced, 40$ for my meal. Over all I give the food about a 3.5 and the decor a 2 read more

Que taco is an under appreciated hidden gem of the local area. One thing they pride themself on is the fresh made to order tortillas. The tortilla is such an important element of a good street taco, it pairs beautifully with the fresh classic traditional mexican proteins, quality salsas, and a creative menu. Que taco has tongue as a protein option if your feeling adventurous. They also offer really great Mexican corn on a stick as an affordable side ($3 for a whole cob). For the more American crowd or the all too common "picky eater" they also offer a very good fresh classic made to order quesadilla with an option to add your choice or protein. My only criticism is if you dont order ahead of time you might end up waiting longer than you planned on, however its not for a lack of effort.
