The barbacoa tacos were juicy but I would've liked a little more salt. Don't miss the condiment area, where you can get lime wedges and mild, medium, and hot salsas. The mild salsa wasn't spicy at all and added nice flavor to the tacos. The medium salsa isn't that spicy if you have a spice tolerance. The hot salsa is more hot than flavorful. Located across from Cub Foods is this hidden gem. This restaurant was busy! We parked in front and got in line. I was surprised they had a sauce station in the middle. My daughter has been here numerous times and recommended this place for tacos. We put in our order and waited for our number to be called. We grabbed our drinks and sauces while they cooked our food. We sat by the front where the high tops are looking into a glass. You can see the lady making fresh tortillas and they have the machete tacos too!! These are 1 feet taco, equivalent to 3 tacos. Really good food! The service was excellent and even came with a smile. The restaurant was nice on the inside with a bar just for the different sauces they offer. The Super Espada was packed full of flavor and the tortilla was perfect. My wife had the Quesabirria which is her favorite. I'm glad this one is closer to me than their other location in Burnsville. Was looking for some street tacos and El Super Taco did not disappoint! I placed an online order which was fast and convenient. I tried an American taco with barbacoa and a couple of the chicken street tacos. They packaged up my order and added a couple of salsas on the side to top the tacos with which I appreciated! The tacos were exactly what I was looking for that day. I especially liked the barbacoa taco since the meat was juicy and tender. Still fantastic! Unfortunately their prices have gone up quite a bit. Service seems slower too lately (lot of turnover I've noticed, new employee faces a lot). This is the food spot we eat at the most hands down. At least 2-4 times a month. I love the food. Their Tinga is sooo good. I ordered a side of their rice the other day (because I love it in my burritos) and oh my gosh that was amazing. But the staff don't even fill up my cup full of rice . It was only like 80% full. Felt like I got ripped off a bit, for the cost. I also really wish they would look into adding more menu options. We need queso here, I bet they could make an amazing queso. I also wish they had a salsa specifically for chips. Their sauces/salsas are great, but only on food. Not great with chips. Overall - still great. Go eat here. Service is slower than before. I was double charged and still waiting for my refund. Also there have been multiple times my orders have not been correct and having to have them redo orders over and over. Its exhausting. I stopped by for lunch on a Tuesday and noticed that they had a Taco Tuesday special only $2 for any of a dozen street tacos, normally $3.75! The beef tongue and tripe tacos were $1 more. I ordered a barbacoa (steak) and pastor (pulled pork). I also wanted guacamole, but it was not available that day... very odd! They have a condiment table that had a spicy mayo sauce and of course salsa. I didn't like the sauce, but the salsa was excellent, and wished that they had a spicier salsa. There was also some sliced cucumber that I did not have. Both soft corn tortillas were topped with some pickled red onion and Cotija cheese and were delicious, but the barbacoa was my fave! This is a family-owned business and some of them don't speak English. There was a young boy that took my order, and when I asked what to do after placing my order, he could not give me an answer because he didn't understand my question, so the next patron in line answered me. We stopped here on Tuesday for taco Tuesday. We each got two tacos, there were limited protein options in the $1.99 Tuesday deal. I ordered the tinga meat (shredded chicken cooked in chipotle pepper adobo sauce). I added a Mexican corn. I decided to add on chips and guacamole after I'd placed the other order. My husband even asked me when we got in the car if we had everything. And I told him we were good. When we got home I realized we didn't have the chips for the guac. :( I'm guessing it was just a miscommunication to the food preparers since I added it after the initial order, but we were not going to go back since it was late by the time we got home. However, all the food we selected was very flavorful, and actually had some kick. The price was reasonable and the taco deal was a nice bonus. I am looking forward to trying more of their menu. Well I called to complain because what I got was regular Taco Bell style Burrito. Meat lettuce sour cream cheese rice and beans. If I wanted that style of a burrito I would've went to Taco Bell. I usually don't complain but the Girl working the register says we don't do it that way. Or that's the way the Mexican style burrito is but I know it's not and it doesn't taste good. Fantastic tacos. The food is outstanding. The interior is utilitarian and drab, but the food is worth it.

Pretty good authentic tacos. You get the radishes and lime and the cilantro with white onions. Their green sauce is popular in this household but both green and red sauce have a mighty kick to them. We always do pick up and service is quick and food is hot. Ambiance is regular stop in so nothing fancy. I go there often so I'll post the lengua tacos I always get.
