    Neng Y.

Good food here. Got the three taco meal w chorizo, pork stomach, n season pork, Delicious. Tamales not on the menu but definitely get when available. Only had pork stuffing when I was there. Lovin the rice n diggin the curtisy guacamole sauce. Dont forget get ur sauces to go self serve. A good flow of people on a sat. Evening. Small and somewhat cozy... service is quick n nice. Very clean. Great selection. And amazing salsa bar. Try the Agua de piña! Will be back with the family to try new plates.

We were running out of time so we got them to go. I do NOT recommend trying to eat the churros in your car. Cinnamon sugar everywhere! The churros themselves were very delicious.

They are an immigrant-owned business, and you can also find their food truck at local MN events and even a stall at the State Fair! We don't go out for Mexican food very often because my mother in law is from Chihuahua and typically cooks better and more authentically than most restaurants in the area, but when we do El Burrito is typically on the short list. We've always had good service here. The staff is friendly, happy to chat or talk to you, and give recommendations. We stopped in this last time to grab a couple drinks on the patio and the waitress was nice enough to warn us that they've had bees recently. There were alot of bees, but we got through it and were happy that she warned us ahead of time. Their specials are excellent including their double Entre special on Thursdays and their Taco Tuesday deals. Really if you haven't given this place a shot either for groceries or for their restaurant you should stop in!

My wife said I looked like was about to cry when a inch cup of carnitas fell out of my taco and bounced down to the floor. It's the only time I've ever considered grabbing food off the floor it was that delicious(I didn't grab it). Our recent visit my wife got the carnitas tacos, I got the torta and an order of the Rajas and for drinks were ordered the pineapple express margarita and the habanero cilantro margarita. We had 2 other couples with us and we all agreed everything was spectacular. Pictures are from our first visit. Our server was excellent, fast and fun and very knowledgeable about the menu.We are looking forward to our next visit.

I ordered a strawberry daiquiri and it was yummy. My friend got the Miami vice and she liked that. They didn't have much liquor in them but refreshing given the hot weather. I got the queso fundido and chips & salsa and a side of rice. I loved everything. The green salsa was delicious. I didn't care for the red (pico type). The chips are fresh and homemade and I can eat them alone. I will return when I want Mexican.

Every time I visit La Costa, I have to get the chips and queso dip. La Costa offers Blanco and Nacho Cheese queso, but I wouldn't know about the Nacho because my heart and soul belong to Blanco. It is, without exaggeration, the best queso in the area. Their chips are also seasoned perfectly! For drinks, I used to ride hard for the Vallarta Margarita because cucumber margs are my favorite. But at La Costa, it's just a tad too spicy for my taste, not that it stopped me from ordering it repeatedly. Then I met the Mangonada Margarita. I am not usually a blended margarita girly, but this one is creamy, smooth, and somehow doesn't require the lung strength of a competitive swimmer to drink through a straw. As for food, I've eaten my way through a decent chunk of the menu. Some highlights are the Fish Tacos, the Ceviche, the Mole Enchiladas, and the Chimichanga. I tried the Camarones A La Costa recently and while they were good, I'm loyal to other dishes on the menu. The mole enchiladas pack heat. The mole sauce sits right at the edge of my maximum spice tolerance (which honestly isn't much). Still, I get them from time to time because they are so good. My husband, who loves spice, thinks they're incredible. The fish tacos are mild but flavorful. The ceviche is also a must if you love seafood. Today I grabbed the chicken chimichanga to go, and they absolutely stuffed this thing with chicken and rice. They also gave me a fat cup of queso on the side, which I deeply respect. I skipped the beans and doubled up on rice. 10/10, would do it again. La Costa stays on my rotation for a reason.
