I went after the busy lunch hours around 1PM and the service was quick, we got our order to the table within about 10-15 minutes. Staff was also very friendly. For the food it was pretty standard. The chicken wings did not come with a sauce so we had to ask for a dipping sauce not sure why it wasn't included when brought to the table but it was advertised with a sweet sauce on the side. The Thai boat noodle was average in flavor but had a very generous amount of meats which was very nice since almost every bite had meat in it. The broth tasted a little too bloody for my preference. The Dry noodle I would not recommend, again generous amount of meat but the flavor was lackluster, the sauce had too much hoisin sauce so it was a little too overpowering. We also got the Thai Tea which tasted like a orange cream popsicle. They had other items on the menu that I would like to come back and try like the rice bowls but as for the thai boat noodle and dry noodle I probably wouldn't order again.

We started with the Swedish meatballs which we didn't love. They're made with chicken which made them a bit to dry. The hubs had the lobster pappardelle which was delicious. (Very rich and filling) I had the butternut squash bisque which was so creamy and yummy! Friends of ours had the walleye nachos which they were really impressed with! If you're lucky, you'll find street parking out front, otherwise head the small lot behind the restaurant where you can enter through a rear door.

And no music so you can hear each other. Lovely! The service was efficient and friendly and helpful. Our server (Christina I believe) was on point with timing and recommendations and checking in appropriately. She was great. My friend and I each started with a cocktail while we were catching up. The espresso martini and the Pinot were both delightful. I had the Swedish meatballs and they were very good. It's listed as an appetizer but plenty for one person as an entrée. My friend had the salmon and she said it was delightful. We shared an apple pie dessert which was equally tasty. Parking can be a little tricky, but there is a lot behind the restaurant where you may find a spot. Highly recommend!

An utter gem located in HmongTown Marketplace!…read more When I went, I was floored by the prices. Usually, in these inflation-ridden times, I find myself aghast at how high prices have gotten. But at Rose's Kitchen, I was stunned by how low the prices were. On the day I went, the restaurant was offering a dine-in special - a bowl of pho for 5 DOLLARS! And even more shocking, the bowl wasn't tiny. It was actually a decent portion of piping hot broth with a generous amount of noodles and a nice amount of meat. And the pho was delicious! If that wasn't crazy enough, the restaurant offered other specials like 2 sesame balls for $1 and 2 meat skewers for $5. Because I was hungry, I took advantage of both of these deals. The sesame balls were large and had plenty of filling, and the skewers were meaty boys. Everything was so tasty. The sesame balls were fried perfectly, and the meat on the skewers was tender and flavorful. I also got naab vaam (the tri color dessert) and a green cream soda drink that I forgot the name of. Both were refreshing and sweet. So I got a bowl of pho, 2 meat skewers, 2 sesame balls, dessert, and a drink - and it was all for 21 DOLLARS. And the chef was so, so sweet. Friendly and attentive and even refilled my naab vaam with coconut milk FOR FREE. One of the highlights of my trip to the Twin Cities and somewhere I will definitely go to again when I'm in the area, which I hope is soon
