Was in the area and had a craving for Cajun seafood boil. I did a search and we decided to try this location due to the many Google reviews. The inside is small with a few tables for dining in. You order at the counter, grab a table and they bring the food to your table. We didn't know what to order and the person helping us was super patient, extremely friendly and helpful. We had the lobster tails, the Jonah crab claws, snowcrab cluster with the recommended house mix sauce at a spice level of medium. I had asked for a side of the spicy level sauce to add more spice. WARNING: the spicy level is extremely spicy! The medium spice level was just perfect! The flavor was absolutely delicious and so amazing! I recommend ordering a side of rice to have with it. Just lather that sauce on top and have it with your seafood... incredible. Also, if you want to take the rest of the sauce home, they will be happy to bag it up for you! Service was just spot on. We were also given such great service and friendly conversation. We will definitely come again! One of my favorite spots now. Go check them out, you won't be disappointed!

A teammate and I decided to treat ourselves to a fun lunch after coordinating a train of shiny new car models at the auto show. We got there at 3:30 pm - after the lunch rush. We didn't leave until 7:45 pm, watching the dinner rush come and go while we sat and chatted for hours. The guys were so lovely - engaging, warm, welcoming - and they continually dropped by to refill my friend's emptied water cup over the course of those several hours, to the point that we all started laughing about it. The plates were generous, the seasoning on point, the spice levels perfect. There are several cajun hole-in-the-walls in the Twin Cities, and they're all very chill, but I'd say this spot takes the cake in that area. I'll be back!

I heard great things about this spot, so we placed a to-go order on Father's Day and it was great! We got snow crab clusters, black mussels, crawfish and head on shrimp with the house mix sauce, which had lots of flavors and lots of minced garlic. We ordered in-person and it took about 15 minutes but the tray came out piping hot, and stayed hot until we came home. The seafood was fresh, sauce was flavorful (although it could be spicier so I am going up on spice level next time), and the snow crabs were a good size. There's a couple tables in the restaurant but I don't know if anyone really eats in . Looks like most people order to go or call in for pick up at the counter. However, staff was super friendly.

Holy cow! If I didn't live 30 minutes from this place I'd be in trouble - I'd be here ALL the time. The catfish is so well cooked and flavorful for such a good price. We had 2 pounds of crawfish with the spicy sauce and it was sooo good we finished the whole tray. The service was quick and friendly and I appreciated that our cashier helped us pick the perfect spice level for our boil. Overall this is the best Cajun place I've been to in Minnesota and will definitely be back again!

What a great find. What a great little place to get some great food. staff was great, food was terrific plus I loved the mural on the wall : )

I ordered the fried shrimp with fries on the side because I was in the mood for something fried and Cajun. Cajun deli hit the spot. I just wish they had more seating. It's an Excellent take out suggestion, and not a bad place to dine in if you don't mind a little harmonious chaos. I was very satisfied with my order and would recommend Cajun deli if you are craving NOLO cuisines.

4 pounds snow crab legs & a fried shrimp basket with fries.

With a lot of Cajun Seafood places popping up in the Twin Cities, I find myself going right back to this spot! Seriously, if you love Cajun seafood boil, do not go anywhere else but here, in my opinion is by far, the BEST place to go! They have fried seafood baskets with fries or you can get seafood by the pound. They have snow crab legs, mussels, whole prawns, shrimp (peeled & unpeeled), crayfish & blue crab. You get 1 corn & 1 potato with each pound of seafood that you get. They have 4 types of sauce, I highly recommended getting the house sauce & that you do not wear a top that you do not want stained. Also, don't let the spice levels fool you because medium is pretty spicy. I have been going here for years & I drive all the way up from Shakopee just to get my fill on seafood! I'm actually surprised I haven't reviewed this place yet!

Cajun Deli's specialty is seafood boil. Not sure what that is? You order seafood by the pound (shrimp, crab, mussels... etc). It's prepared in a big massive bowl with the sauce of your choice. This IS VERY MESSY. However, they provide plastic bibs and plastic gloves so it's actually relatively easy to walk out as you came in! If you like garlic, their house sauce was incredible. I ordered it "mild" spicy because I had my 2-year-old daughter with me and it was still too hot for her. The shrimp was moist and tender, and the crab legs were so good paired with their sauce. My only complaint: they gave me the hand crackers for the shell but didn't give me a pick. My crab leg cracking skills could use some work;)

Been here twice now. Best seafood I've ever had. Service is amazing!! Recommend the house mix seasoning!!! I'm already counting the days till I return!!

Mussels, Peeled shrimp, Crab legs, Potato's, Corn

This was my first time eating seafood boil and I'm so glad it was here because the food was delicious we got a cluster of crab legs, mussels, peeled shrimp, and each of those meats came with 1 potato and 1 corn, so all 3 people sharing this plate had one of each. We had to order side of rice for everyone which the rice was also yummy and perfect consistency. We got the mix of all sauces and got spicy level. The food was pretty spicy as my nose kept running, but it wasn't too bad where I couldn't eat it. The workers were very polite as they kept stopping by us for more water numerous times. We got water cups so they were free of charge. I've been craving to go back! This whole plate was around $53.

Pound of Green Mussel (with xtra potatoes and corn)

Food is always pretty good and I the house sauce/butter. But I did order an extra side of corn and potatoes. Looks like the corn came correct, but not the potatoes

Y'all, this place is a sleeper restaurant. It is in a bit of a sketchy area with less than stellar…read morereviews. However, my friends and I were craving Cajun food and wanted to give it a shot. Boy, were we surprised! The seafood was so fresh when we ordered. We got the shrimp, crawfish, and snow crab legs. Maybe they just got their shipment on Monday, but it really hit the spot. They did mess up my order ( I ordered House Mix with Medium spice but got Garlic Butter with Mild spice), but it didn't change the fact I enjoyed my meal thoroughly. Also, their corn was great. I'm usually a fan of seafood boils that have a thicker sauce consistency (like King Cajun), so if you're the same, you might want to skip. Their sauce is a bit on the more liquid side. I would say if you're gonna eat here, place your order online and pick up your food and head out. It will hit the spot, but you don't want your car parked around outside cause it's honestly a bit scary.

I appreciate the king crab came with slits cut on it so you can crack them open easier! I ordered the "Feast Combo 2" which includes half one king crab legs, half pound snow, crab legs, half pound shrimp with no head, one corn, one potato and side of fries! Cost was $66.48 with a pop!

We weren't greeted when we walked in and were left standing at the front wondering if we had to seat ourselves until someone finally came out and just brought us to one of the empty tables. There was another empty table that hadn't been bussed with the plastic bag containing seafood boil and half eaten corn by us, and it was clear that this place was short staffed. Now, to be clear, the biggest faults of this place don't stem from them being short staffed (like the unbussed tables or the wait to sit down). It comes from the mediocrity of the food and the filthy bathroom. We ordered some beef skewers (5 pieces) which were just fine. We also ordered the seafood boil with medium spice garlic sauce, peeled shrimp, snow crab cluster, and added sausages. When I asked the server how spicy their "spicy" is, I was told "it depends on what your spice tolerance is," which was entirely unhelpful. When the boil came out, we didn't receive a lobster cracker despite ordering crab legs, and just had to crack them ourselves. The sauce left no impression besides being mostly garlic and whatever nondescript sauce that provided a slight modicum of heat. The best thing was the sausage, which probably came out of a package. The worst part of the visit was when I had to go to the bathroom, which I walked into a dingy, dark bathroom where one stall was "out of order" and the other was so filthy that your average frat bathroom in the middle of a rager party probably would have been cleaner. I just made a beeline straight out of the bathroom. I try to give small businesses the benefit of the doubt, as I realize that many improvements require $$$ which means that you need more customers and you need renovations to get more customers etc.. etc.. but for now I think I would tell my friends and anyone reading this to steer clear.

We came here for restaurant week and had a very good experience!…read more Our server was great. Very personable and present without being overwhelming. The ambiance was very nice too. The place was very busy and had a good energy about it. I had the Jambalaya, which had chicken, sausage, and shrimp. It was pretty good and had a nice spicy kick. A good portion as well. Girlfriend had the shrimp etouffee with grits. It was nicely blackened and on a big bed of grits. Also spicy. Friend had the original lobster roll. He was surprised it came on Texas toast and not a roll. But he really enjoyed it. The dessert was a sinlme but delicious Cookit with ice cream. I recommend for restaurant week. And if you like seafood in the form of things like the lobster roll or shrimp etouffee that you don't get other places. I thought the jambalaya was fine but unremarkable. Not pictured here was the lobster mac and cheese. Which was only a small appetizer and I thought underwhelming (also, I don't like corn).

The atmosphere is lively, the seafood tastes fresh, and the kitchen clearly pays attention to presentation as much as flavor.
