First time here after picking up our rental car at Phoenix airport. We were hungry and Yelp lead us to this fun and interesting place. There is an extensive menu, so something for everyone. The three of us decided on a hamburger and we all enjoyed them. They were made fresh, hot, and juicy. The French fries were hot and crispy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place has crazy and fun posters and memorabilia on the walls.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was quick and friendly. You order at the counter and then pick up food when it's ready. The drinks are self serve. Many seem to stop here on the way out of the airport, as there are several foreign currencies to show off the different countries that have stopped there, placed at the counter. Very cool. Would definitely come back on the way to or from the Phoenix airport.

Great lunch spot! Service is on point. They are friendly, fast, AND ACCURATE! This is what generates repeat business... The food is very good, and there are SO MANY options. I have been here a lot over the years, and tried many things. And most recently, about a handful of times over the last 2 months, and it is consistently good. Reasonable prices, generous portions, fresh and flavorful food. I even took my bet friend here, who's a really picky eater, and she loved it. Told all my coworkers about it as well.

Haven't been to WTF in a couple of years but I took my granddaughter here last week and now she wants WTF every week. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I arrived for a takeaway order at 11:45 on a Sunday and there were only a couple of tables full, with a couple others waiting for takeaway.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered three byo burgers, three fries and a drink. It all came to $50.45. Not bad for three full meals. Our order came out in about 10 mins, still piping hot. WTF offers something for everyone and now they offer protein burgers that my wife can eat. WTF for the win!

First, let me say Marlen P who rang us up at the register was amazing, definitely welcoming, she had my mom and friends and I laughing. She was willing to explain the menu to those that never ate there before. WTF express give your girl a raise. It's rare when you come across someone like that. The food was amazing, definitely hit the spot and well worth the drive, would def come here again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance is very clean and super spacious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had their poke bowls and fried fish with chips. You won't be disappointed.

WtfExp (or WTF Express) is one of the quirkier eateries in south Phoenix. It's popular with the weekday lunch crowd, and it's great for groups because it's got so many things on the menu: Middle Eastern food, cheesesteaks, poke, salads, burgers, sandwiches, wings and more. Now, with a menu this diverse, not everything is going to be great. I had a shrimp po'boy one time that was pretty disappointing. Fortunately, there are plenty of good choices on the menu. The Middle Eastern options are delicious and really affordable. The poke is great because the portions are generous and on the build-your-own-bowl, they don't nickel-and-dime you for every add-on. The wings are pretty solid, too. Overall, WtfExp is a reliable choice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And a bonus for history nerds: It's right next to two of the oldest standing buildings in Phoenix. The boarded-up river rock building near the street and the nicer house behind it date to the 19th century.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I love the concept of having several restaurants under one roof. The staff are friendly and patient. You place your order, select a seat, then wait until your number is called. I tried the Greek salad with falafel. The kool-aid looked tempting, but I passed. ... for another day. I ordered something different today, went way out of my comfort zone and ordered the Dirty Bird Mac n Cheese. I'm disappointed that I was eating a dry dish. I expected flavorful fried chicken on top of Macaroni AND Cheese.. not just macaroni. Did they forget to add the cheese??

This is a place with an enormous and eclectic menu. You can choose from burgers, hot dogs, Asian fusion, fry combinations, salads, and cheesesteaks. It is absolutely inane that this place refuses to serve cups of water like 99% of restaurants in America. Their beverage section even includes water but they just won't allow you to drink it apparently. They sell water bottles but the cashier said they ran out. However, once I started eating, I noticed there were water bottles to sell so apparently the cashier is too incompetent to know what water bottles are. There is a Yelp deal here for a free drink since the cashier refused to give me water. Instead, the cashier said they refuse to honor the Yelp check in deal. I asked if the name of their establishment was "WtfExp" and she said "yes" and then said that the restaurant on my app is not me despite it saying that it's verified by the owner. If the owner is reading this, I suggest hiring competent workers. I wouldn't bring any other deals/coupons here considering that the people here won't even honor them. I got myself a Mac Daddy Burger which is a burger with mac 'n cheese and bacon. The burger itself was of average quality; somewhat dry meat and lukewarm mac 'n cheese. This place has no air conditioning and they refuse to offer any sort of competent customer service. Definitely avoid this place at all costs.

I had a really disappointing experience at WTF Express today. We ordered online -- fish and chips and a Caesar wrap -- then I picked up my son from school and went to grab the food. While we were there, I added a cheeseburger and a slice of carrot cake that was clearly displayed behind the glass. When we got back on the freeway and closer to home, I realized the carrot cake was missing. I drove back (through traffic), not only because the cake was missing, but because my partner asked me to have the food remade since fish and shrimp don't stay fresh once they've sat. When I went back, the owner, Adam, was extremely dismissive and unhelpful. Instead of simply correcting the mistake, he insisted that because the carrot cake wasn't on the online receipt, he wouldn't do anything about it. He also claimed the carrot cake was "self-serve," even though it was clearly behind a case. No apology, no effort, no basic customer service. As a customer, the expectation is simple: if a mistake is made, make it right. Instead, he argued and refused to help, leaving us with cold food and no resolution. We will not be returning. Very disappointing experience, all due to how the situation was handled, especially by the owner.

You already know what I'm going to say so let's just get it out of the way. WTF??!! Our WTF and DTF (yes, that's the real name) burgers were hot and fresh and delicious but the French fries were freaking amazing! I don't know what they used for seasoning but I could have eaten a whole plate of fries and died happy. This was a great find on our travels and I would make another trip to Phoenix just for this! We snatched up a giant slab of carrot cake on our way out to share with the family and it was a hit! Moist and delicious and delicious. A++++ to WTF!

This place is pretty close to the Phoenix airport and was a nice spot to get some comfort food. We had the fish & chips and cheese steak. Not a place to visit if you're on a diet, but definitely a fun spot to get a variety of classic comfort foods. read more

I felt like I could have made better at home. Their philly was disappointing and was just a pile of ground beef with a little bell peppers, no cheese or sauce. If it was there it wasn't enough to notice. The bread was the worst, it tasted like paper and was super gross and soggy. The fries were okay but not enough to make it worth the drive. I ordered in person so I don't know why it was like that. read more

A friend from work recommended that I stop in and try their food. From what I could see, they have an array of options on the menu. The guy behind the counter was very chill and his customer service was #1. He made me a very good sushi bowl with salad. It was very very good. And I feel that the price was very reasonable for how big and awesome this salad really is. I seriously considered purchasing one more to eat in a few hours since I am working AZ double shift. I will definitely be returning to this establishment in the very near future. Highly recommended! read more

We were in a conference all week just down the street. This very popular, fast casual, restaurant is a one-of-a-kind marvel. The name probably comes from you experience walking I the door. There is something for everyone and hybrids of it all. Asian, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and on and on. You can take out or dine in. Table real estate is primo. You may have to circle to score a table. Each of us ordered different things and all were pretty good. Do yourself a favor and review the menu in advance. I panicked because I couldn't decide which seemed better on the first menu board, I didn't get beyond that and threw mental darts. Even the grumpy dude in the group was satisfied. read more

The food was amazing. I ordered the Break-Up burger and my wife ordered the WTF burger, and we have to say that both were pretty delicious. But I would have to say our favorite was the WTF Fries. We ordered the food to go but the inside of the restraint was really inviting and had a comfortable environment. It took us a while to order since it was our first time there and there was plenty to choose from but the staff were so friendly and patient with us. We 100% recommend going here for a bite to eat. The next time we go back we are going with friends so they can taste the amazing food! read more

I have to give this place five stars the catfish was amazing it was really tender and moist and the crust was cornmeal and crispy excellent! The shrimp was very good as well and you get a large portion for a small price. They have a Kool-Aid bar 6 different flavors that's crazy! I also got one of the Philly Sandwiches to go. It's called the heartburn it has Philly steak onions mushrooms with pepper jack cheese Monterey cheese and Cheez Whiz and this thing is huge! The cocktail sauce for the shrimp is a little spicy. Also the french fries were really good I like the seasoning that uses so much like a barbecue it was they were really good. I will definitely be back! Winner winner catfish dinner! read more

I came in at 5 pm on a week day and there was not a single for person here. Waited for minutes at a empty counter to be acknowleged. The employee was less than enthusiastic to help and when I checked out I didn't realize that he reached over to the screen on the register to give him self a tip and blocked my view with his hand. He clicked through it so I had no say nor rcould I sign for it. I normally leave a tip but making that choice for me is pretty bad business etiquette. read more

Sooooo many choices and such great food! Breakfast, lunch, dinner - WtfExp has it covered. I don't recall EVER going to a restaurant that had this many choices AND the food was great. Most places try too hard, don't really make anything well, and survive on variety. WtfExp simply kills it on burgers, breakfast burritos, Philly cheesesteaks, etc. I'm sure the other menu items are great and someday I'll try everything they have but for now...burgers, breakfast burritos, Philly cheesesteaks.. I've been here 5 times and everything is affordable, quick, high in quality, and is very consistent. Just went here this morning for a breakfast burrito and it was fantastic! 3.5-4 stars so I have a 4 This is my first time coming to WTF after seeing it on the news as a great place to eat. I thought the staff was very friendly and I really enjoyed eating there and I rarely like eating inside fried food spots.They were so kind as to bring me extra shrimp with my order just as a courtesy and I thought that was really cool. It's really nice how they combined like four different restaurants in one spot so you have many options and the Kool-Aid along with other soft drinks is a great touch. I'm very familiar with fried fish and shrimp as my family used to own a restaurant when I was younger. I would say everything was overall tasty especially the fries however the shrimp and the fish had a little too much coating. Shrimp and fish are light textures so overload of coating and seasoning can seem a bit overwhelming. Overall, it was good I would just say a little less would've went along way. My husband and I definitely decided we will give this place another try and maybe update our score as well. read more

Loved the set up of this place . It gave you a food court vibe minus the crowdedness . The establishment was clean and the service was prompt. Waited over an hour for my food. Was missing items from my order (clam strips and fried oysters)when I finally got them they were extremely overcooked and too hard to eat. Then I asked for no onions of two of the orders of course we got onions. Totally hit or miss with this place. If it's busy expect mistakes and less delicious food read more

Delivery was great (5 stars) food was hot and driver professional. Appreciate delivery to truck terminal shows appreciation for Class A drivers we get all goods to your door. Took this LONG drive out to Phoenix in expectation of experiencing some real good soul food eatin, BUT NOPE, Not such a good outcome & very regretful when knowing I wasted almost 40 bucks on such a meal, this was the worst gyro'burger, dry cold hard bun with NO taziki sauce "yuck" The wings was tuff & dry with sweet habanero sauce who ever heard of hot sauce being sweet like sugar? The ranch served with it was super watery, I couldnt enjoy that then the buffalo chicken philly was watered down in something brown type of sauce that surely wasnt hot or tasty, the fries were good, seasoned very well.... the fish & shrimp to cost so much sure wasnt price quality in presentation & or forfillment, But this place does serve a koolaid station with some being slushi with free refills & the flavors were great, kwi'strawberry, mango peach etc who would of expected such great flavors being served? & it was sweet, being very good like home making! This place doesn't compare to Chicago eating at all tho which I was hoping.... So to sum it all up, my experience isnt "what the f*** to the kinda combinding of foods in one meal" BUT instead wtf to WHERE'S the flavor I really regret trying something new, this was a waste of a spend, I tell yah that, well the people were nice & friendly tho' the staff friendliness is the cause of the 2 stars‍ read more

i've ordered from this place about 10 times now within the time span of 7 months, out of all those times only 2 times has my order been right, whats infuriating is that it's always so easy to just make it right, i've ordered the berry what without feta cheese and got cheese, just now i ordered a falafel pita with EASY sauce cause they always drench it in sauce for whatever reason and there was still a bunch of sauce!! it leaked through the wrapper and got all over my car seat and work clothes (this is during my break btw i have to work like this) most of the times they just forget to add the right sauce i want for the fries, i believe the 4th time i ordered pumpkin pie and a salad and i never got the pumpkin pie, another time when i finally got it, it tasted gross/artificial like plastic, only order from here if it's in person whether it be ordering on the spot or takeout because 8/10 they will mess up your order! this wasn't the first time the pita leaks through the wrapper either read more

This place it legit! My husband heard of this place from a co-worker of his so we decided to take a little family trip. First off, this place has everything ...no like....EVERYTHING amazing. We ordered the beef shwarma fries, catfish and chips, honey buffalo wings and chicken fingers. After all that, we topped it off with the parfait and chocolate cake. I wish I took pics before the meal because the portions were great. We were all stuffed and even had left overs. I believe I met one of the owners while at WtfExp which seemed like a really stand up guy...polite, friendly and super chill. The employees seemed to take on the same approach. Overall...I love this place and can't wait to go back. I'm from Los Angeles and this place made me feel like just for an hour, I was at home. read more

WTF express is a super cool restaurant, their menu is filled with tons of different options. Their fish n' chips are great, gyros are alright, philly's are eh, poke bowls are eh, and their chili cheese dog is a no. The restaurant is super clean, staff is friendly, and it's offers a ton of options. Still have a few things to try there, but so far I'm not super impressed with the food. I get the "WTF" factor of it, but some of the food has made me say "WTF" myself. read more

The 3 stars are for the burgers. I would give 5 stars for their salads and poké bowls. There a quite a few things here that are not my favorite. I do not like the burgers, I do not like the cheese steaks. However, the Poké bowl is soooooo good!! I usually get the So Cal bowl, it is so fresh and delicious! I recently tried the taco salad. I am not really a pay more than $3 for a salad girl because salad is so inexpensive to make, but this salad was AMAZING!! Apparently there are a lot of things I don't go out of my way to eat, cheese sauce is one of those things. I almost ordered it without the cheese sauce, but I like to taste something the way the chef created it before I add or subtract from the recipe. I am extremely glad I tried it!! It was da bomb.com (I can still say that right?). Soooooo good! I went back and got it the next day too! It is possibly the best taco salad I've ever had! So while the burgers are mediocre this place still has a ton of value! I will definitely be back to work my way through the menu, and see what other mouth explosions they can provide me! read more

Today I went in to pick up our to go order and added a large soda when i got there after filling up my cup with red soda I asked one person for a lid who then replied they were out of lids for the large cups and offered to give me a medium cup i told him no I paid for the large and it wasnt for me so just give me my money back when I arrived to the register to get my refund the one guy said let me check the back i think we have lids then after waiting 5 minutes he comes back and says no they are out I reply that's fine just give me a refund the another guy comes up and says let me check goes to the back comes out with a box and says I got lids my response to him was you guys are killing me with a smirk he gets all offensive saying I"m just here trying to help with a very rude tone I reply you know what just give me my money He continues to raddle off how now i was some how the person that was rude WHEN ALL YOU HAD TO DO IS HAVE YOUR LIDS STOCKED and i would not even be typing this complaint I told the guy we order there 2 or 3 times a week from the airport and his response was not to come back here at the airport we refer everyday to people on were to go sorry WTF EXP!! read more

I had the Chicago Dog and fries. The hotdog was like 7 bucks and was a basic microwaved hotdog. The bun was stale and just remicrowaved. You just can't make good food when your menu contains 5000 items but Jesus a hotdog is like the hardest thing to screw up. The fries tasted like they weren't fully cooked through. Not worth the money or the line. Edit to shitty business owner of microwaved food. Maybe if I spent more time on yelp like you my profile would be updated with my new city and my food would be microwaved see the thing about being sarcastic is it only works when you can back it up with something. In your case this would be good food. I'm sorry you can't do that with a microwave. Maybe you should have just not microwaved the bun and made a shitty boiled hotdog? I whole heartily suggest you try a hotdog from literally anywhere else to get a grasp of how one should be cooked. Head down to Outta Bronx and see what a dog for that price should be. Instead, I spent nearly half an hour listening to the owner defend the food, insist the items we ordered weren't their "best sellers," and tell us to choose different items next time. They claimed nothing could be wrong with the food and that we should have just eaten it. They also said the mac and cheese wasn't their responsibility and told us to complain to Krispy Krunchy Chicken because they "just microwave" what they receive. When asked whether a replacement would resolve the issue, I said yes -- only for the owner to then accuse me of taking money from their family and saying they personally wouldn't complain about food they didn't like. I was told to just eat it and avoid ordering those items again. I have this all recorded. If you're going to ask whether a replacement would make things right, why turn it into an argument afterward? This could have been handled quickly and respectfully. Instead, I was told I was bothering them by emailing on a Friday night, and the entire call felt unnecessary and unprofessional. Calling a customer on a Friday night to argue is not how you keep loyal customers. After enjoying this place for some time, it's disappointing to see how poorly concerns are handled when something goes wrong. Update: I believe the response to this shows what I outlined above. I do not know this owner personally. I met them twice at the restaurant when getting my orders and both were good yet brief experiences. I also do not understand how there is fraud in contacting a restaurant, via their contact us email address, to inform them of issues you had with an order. Their call to me, in response to the email, was not a personal call and entirely business related. This simply shows that this is the type of response one can expect if they have any issues with their order.

She wasn't crazy about the Kool-Aid so we brought it home for other family members but she kept exclaiming how delicious her hamburger was! She liked the wings also and we all liked the fries. We had barely received our drinks and taken a single sip before every dish hit the table at once. Instead of feeling like a curated dining experience, it felt rushed and a bit stressful trying to juggle multiple dishes plus our drink: Karaoke king (which would have been good if I had a second to enjoy it) Overall, I'd still recommend Lom Wong because the ambiance and hospitality alone make it worth visiting. My advice: skip the chef's selection and order à la carte. Just be prepared for the food to come out quickly and all at once.

I absolutely enjoyed the pasta I got as the noodles were the perfect texture, sauce was flavorful, and the blend of it all was amazing. The portions were filling as well which I appreciated! We also came back during their lunch service to try their viral sandwich with the shredded Parmesan cheese and it was amazing! Bread had the perfect crisp, the inside was packed with flavor and the ingredients all were fresh and crisp! I can see why it was viral and everyone had spot on opinions! At the WTF Exp. Restaurant, the food is astounding. They have this amazing sweet juice burger that's melts right in my mouth. The bread was freshly baked, the meat was freshly butchered, and now they are just waiting for a mouth that can handle the intensity burger. Don't get me started on the shrimp and chips. And let's not forget the most important meal of the day; desserts. The sweetest thing that came across my mouth was them fried Oreos, with the side of hazelnut chocolate. All I had to do was to dip the fried Oreo into the hazelnut chocolate and set it in my mouth (magical moment). They have one of the most mouthwatering menu I have ever seen. The pricing of the place is not expensive, almost every meal is under 10 dollars. The classic WTF Burger cost right around 6 dollars, comparing to a dried-up burger from McDonalds cost 3 dollars, trust me the WTF Burger is worth the extra couple bucks. This place may not cost you and arm or leg but it will cost your weight to gain extra 20 pounds. They keep the price low by baking their own bread, making their own sauce so the consumer can eat fresh at a low price. The place looks amazing; they want people to feel comfortable eating here. They have a classic picture of the Kool Aid guy breaking through the wall, (nothing like a childhood memory). The word WTF is everywhere, people say it a foul language but I say it's the definition of the food they serve. They have television set up, so the people can watch the football game while enjoying their meal. The service is amazing; the staff are so nice and polite; you must see it for yourself. If you have any questions, or issue or anything they are more than welcome to help you. When I hear the word WTF EXP., I could only imagine something unique, something new, something that will knock my socks off. Thought this place was just a burger shop until I walked in the door.. boy was I confused! It's a bunch of restaurants in one and they serve burgers, phillys, fish shrimp and whole bunch of side dishes. Anyways I walked into the WtfBurgers door so I had to try them out and see what this was all about. I'm soo glad I did!! I tried a burger called the "The Break up" (kinda of a funny name) it came with grilled onions Provolone cheese and pastrami.. yes My burger had PASTRAMI on it and it was amazing! Plus I was able to go to the salad bar and add a bunch of toppings which was great! I will most definitely be back to try out everything else on the menu! This place is awesome! read more

WftExpress lives up to half its name; "what the fuck?" Pay $14 to wait 20 minutes for a Philly that nobody in the kitchen decided check the ticket to see if the order was right (If the ticket was even right). First time there I ask for no bell peppers add mushrooms, still had pepper. Second time there I ask for no bell pepper, add mushrooms, extra cheese- had bell pepper, no mushrooms. What the fuck? And what exactly is express about waiting in a half empty dining room for 20. You do know many of us only have one half-hour for lunch, right? Never going back. For great food at a decent price, this place can't be beat! Any group with any level of diverse palates can go in and order something they want, and not settle for anything at all. Gyros, fish & chips, fried chicken, sushi, cheese steaks, burgers, salads, falafel, and the list goes on. My first visit was a couple months ago, and this is going to be my go-to choice when friends and/or family are looking for a bite. Try the Poke bowl for a cool take on sushi! Hmmm....28 minutes for a basic burger. No place to sit while waiting with the other standing folks. After I asked where my burger was (now 34 minutes into the wait), not a word. Took my receipt and told the cook to make mine right away. So....8 minutes later. Wow. Not even very busy here. First time last time. Now I've eaten the food and it wasn't even worth 5 minutes of my life. WTF is right! Not recommending this place. read more

By far the absolute best customer service i've ever personally had the experience of dealing with. The staff was so friendly that I ended up leaving with everyone who works there phone numbers. We eat cheesesteaks all over town so we decided to try yours and unfortunately it was not good. We had the cheese up and the meat tasteless, the cheese was horrible and sparse and the the bun was average. No onions, peppers or taste for $9. You have to do better to get our business. I've been going to Marylns on central for years now and I recently saw the new location on buckeye! This place is great has the best fish I've ever had. They have 3 types of fish cod , catfish and tilapia I ended up trying all 3 and I loved the cod the most. I will spread the word for sure! read more
