I am a big fan of goat especially in Birria and they really drove home some good flavors with their Biriyani and their Goat Curry. They also have some amazing vegetarian options and samosas including a lamb samosa that was yummy with their mint and chutney sauce. My kids went with the more basic chicken Tikka masala which they thought was good but wasn't super spicy on heat even though we got hot, however we are kinda jaded with hot ones upping our spice tolerance and burning our souls with Da Bomb. Thomas is the BBQ guy keeping the same recipes, I didn't get a chance to try it out since I wanted to stuff my face with Indian food and Sahaj leads the charge on great Indian food. They have quite a wide selection which is impressive since they have 3 guys running the whole show, but they cook the Indian food fast and BBQ is forgiving when it comes to early morning prep and easy to dish out. The restaurant is your typical strip mall establishment with plenty of seating, but I think Ill stick to take out since they dont have alcohol to go with my yummy curry. It was clean and they are very welcoming and happy to talk about their new offerings with a sandwich board menu. Menus are a tad hard to find on line with an offering on Facebook, but I got someone photos for your viewing pleasure. The pricing is well worth it with huge servings. We spent around $100 for 5 dishes and an order of Samosas and Garlic Naan. Their Naan is soaked with oil and tasty but was a little dry on the edges, which still worked well soaking up some curry sauce. Did I feel like I was in India eating authentic street food, no. When I called ahead to make arrangements for our group, I was told that parking at CityScape would be validated. Based on that information, we arranged for our group to park there. What was not communicated to us was that the validation only covered one hour. By the time we left, our party had four cars and our guests had to pay an additional $40 in parking. The restaurant's Executive Chef later acknowledged in writing that the one-hour limit was not clearly communicated to us on the phone and apologized, even saying they were changing their reservation team's process so the limit would be stated on every call going forward. However, they refused to reimburse the $40 parking expense. Our parking issue also wasn't the only problem. Two members of our party waited approximately 45 minutes for their meals, food came out in waves, and my husband's burger was extremely salty. We were there for a family celebration and chose not to turn the evening into a confrontation by constantly complaining at the table. We simply tried to enjoy our time together. We appreciated the initial apology and acknowledgment of the issues. However, when we declined the offer of complimentary appetizers on a future visit because we had no intention of returning and don't typically order appetizers anyway, the tone of the final response became noticeably defensive. We were told that our reservation policies were available on OpenTable and that our reservation was made and confirmed there, despite the fact that we made our reservation arrangements over the phone. The only link we received afterward was to add a card to the reservation. For a party of 15 that spent over $400, I don't think asking for reimbursement of the $40 parking expense--especially after the restaurant acknowledged the parking policy was not properly communicated--was unreasonable. Instead of simply accepting responsibility for the communication issue, the final response focused on defending the restaurant, shifting blame, and ultimately stating that they "consider the matter closed." I've attached screenshots of the email exchange so people can see the full conversation and decide for themselves. We won't be returning. This review is simply an honest account of our experience and hopefully helps future guests make informed decisions.
