The only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars is due to our server Christina!!! She is amazing!! If you go in, ask for her! The margaritas were great. I ordered cheese fries and they came out almost cold with hot cheese dumped on top. Christina took care of it right away offering to bring us out a fresh batch. She totally made our night. Wow! I didn't even get a chance to actually eat here. My husband has been here twice and brought me takeout, so I know I like the food. So when we couldn't figure out what to do for dinner, I suggested "that wing place." We were sat by the host (she was cool), and then waited... And waited. We notice they're busy and then get deep in conversation at which point I start coughing and realized we had been talking for so long and still didn't even have water. I loudly waved down a waitress (petite cute girl with short red/burgundy hair- she was across the way in a very loud room) and when she approached us, I said, "can we please get some waters here? We've been sitting a while and no server has come by." She explains that they're in the middle of a shift change and she's sorry. Cue three minutes later when she SLAMS the water in front of me "here's your water." And places my husband's water down normally. "Your server will be right with you." Another five minutes went by and I was still just in disbelief over her rudeness and so we left. We let the host know about the waiter and I really hope her behavior is reported to the manager. In the two times my husband has been there, she has been his waiter and was terrible then too. Two stars because I like the food but doubt I'll be in again soon. read more

Very disappointed with our experience this evening. Atempted to order online, but their web site does not allow for any sort of notes or special requests, so we had to call. We have gotten delivery once before from this location, but this time when we called, they told us our house was out of their delivery range (6.5 miles). Um...ok. They took forever in the first place to gather the info from my husband (they actually had to ask how to spell "Steve"...). Then, when we decided to place the order as pick up instead (since they refused to deliver), they asked his name AGAIN. Overall, it took a ridiculously long amount of time to place a simple phone order. When my husband arrived to pick up the order (by the way, my husband used his odometer to measure the distance and we were NOT over the 6.5 miles), he stood at the to-go counter for a long time before anyone even noticed him. Finally he gets home, and our order is incorrect. I had ordered the chicken tender salad and requested the chicken be tossed in wing sauce (it seemed odd to me that this wasn't an option listed on the menu, considering this is a wing place). Opened my salad. No wing sauce on the chicken. No wing sauce on the side. Nothing. (And hey, I'll admit, I'm pregnant so I was pretty annoyed not to get what I had ordered, and what I was craving!) I can safely say, we won't be giving them our business again until maybe we have some indication they've gotten their act together. read more

This place it's getting a whopping 2 stars only because the tenders, wings, and dipping sauces are good. The service however is another level of terrible. They are unorganized, slow and unfriendly. I used to love this place. We sat for 15 minutes before our order was taken. I noticed multiple changes. There are no more curly fries, and they have been replaced with crinkle fries. The ranch was sooo watered down it dripped off before you could take a bite. Now let me tell you about brownie sundae was not a brownie. The texture was weird and wasn't even right. It must have been undercooked because it was solid like a custard. It took a and hour and a half from the moment we arrived before we left. My thoughts were, had to have been changes with management? Just ordered carry out wings from here...ordered 30 pc...bahama jerk, lemon pepper and garlic parmesean. First of all, their wings are TINY! Like baby chicks TINY! This place has really gone downhill. I tell myself each time I go, it will be the last but someone always drags me back. Tonight we went and when the food came out it was ice cold. Some things might be good cold, but wings are not one of them. The manager? finally came around and took my food back to be replaced. I had the worst experience. My boyfriend took me out to eat as it was our 10 year anniversary. We were having a great time till our food came cold. We mentioned it to the workers but they took over 40 minutes to get back at us in which we decided leave and reheat them ourselves at home. As we are reheating them, we saw little bugs that almost resembled ants and there was hair in the food. My boyfriend has a weak stomach so he freaked out &' puked all over the food. We then make a 30 minute trip back up to the restaurant with our receipt. We asked for the manager but were seated down to wait almost an hour as he was "on the phone". We then got a hold of his rude ass from where he began to blame us for not bringing the food back (in which we threw out because of the bugs and puke). I was in for my first time as I am new in town and wanted Wings, on my first visit there were 5 strikes so I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Strike one, all the servers walked by me I guess because they where not our server, we waited for 10 minutes or so, someone named Arron helped me locate my server and he even took our drink and appetizer order for us. When my server took over she seemed distracted like someone was mad at her, anyway, I did a lot of observing, I noticed a few things that can't allow me back, I could get better service at Chic F La. The Wings N More staff outside of someone who wasn't my server, never checked back on the quality of my food, I had like warm tenders and hard cold fries that lacked taste. They never offered me refills, never picked up the trash from my tables, it's called pre-bussing but none of their servers know how to do that from what I noticed. I could have lived with all this but when I heard the manager on duty verbally berate and threaten his servers job within an ear shot of my table I was so done. No need to complain because I knew I was not ever coming back. Note to management, you want to motivate your staff through positive reinforcement, not by giving ultimatums to your staff threatening their livelihood, where we're you trained to manage, from the script out of a Cracker Jack box? Worst experience and service ever. The waitress never introduced herself or greeted us, so we never knew her name. It took her more than a couple minutes to bring us tap water and somehow didn't know what a Mountain Dew was. She then left for 15 minutes, came back, and said that they only had pineapple soda as a drink. Our orders were wrong even though we repeated it to her multiple times. Only checked up on us once and when we needed a drink refill, she left and didn't come back for more than 15 minutes. Another waitress had to step in and refill our drinks because she saw us obviously upset. Our actual waitress then came back with to go cups filled with water when we just wanted a refill in our cups. Besides the waitress, the music was unreasonably loud to the point where I couldn't hear my friend sitting across the table from me. The food itself was beyond mediocre, the breading on the tenders was falling off and everyone's wings were greasy. We asked our waitress, who we finally saw after what felt like ages, to bring us one singular check because we didn't want to deal with this anymore. We said it twice and she still came back with separate checks. After the horrible service we asked for the manager and told her how horrible our experience was. We didn't ask for anything as we had already paid and just wanted to leave as fast as we could. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. read more

I keep coming back here simply because of the pickle chips, but it seems I will be giving up on them all together. I enjoy eating at the bar in various restaurants, but it seems the customer service here is non-existent. Once before I was never served at the bar, just completely ignored. I walked out and the manager asked if I enjoyed everything. I told what happened and he tried to make it right but I was in a rush ready to get out. Second time around I was asked immediately about a drink so my hopes were high. Unfortunately I had to grab my own menu after about 20 minutes of being ignored. Then I had to ask the bartender if I could order. She took my order but it seemed like I was an annoyance. I try not to be pushy when ordering or drinking a bar as I see that sometimes they are busy, but when there are no more than 10 people at the bar and two workers it shouldn't be that hard. I like the food here and the service is normally above average. However I encountered an issue May 4. They were very busy and parking was tight. There were some vehicles parked in fire lanes and they were being towed when we arrived. OK it socks but should not have parked there. However when leaving I noticed they were towing vehicles parked in marked spaces across the lot. There are no signs saying the spaces are dedicated to any business. I notified the greeter and called the police. The police eventually came and said they could do nothing as it was on private property. The police also said the manager was not willing to step in. So while customers parked in marked unreserved spaces were in the establishment their car was being towed. BE AWARE IF YOU EAT HERE YOU MAY HAVE YOUR CAR TOWED AND THE ESTABLISHMENT DOES NOT CARE. read more

We came here because it is right across the street from Mt Playmore. Big mistake! Should have read all the other reviews on Yelp. The restaurant is poorly run. Waitstaff looks miserable. What wing place doesn't automatically include some sort of dressing with their veggie sticks? (They charge extra for this here). We didn't get side of corn so they comped that. The Garlic Parmesan wings smelled really bad and were dripping with a few tablespoons of liquid butter. No flavor what so all. We ended up eating a few and then couldn't take it anymore and left the rest in the basket. (At least they comped the remaining wings) Waitress served the food but never came back after that to refill drinks (place wasn't busy-- it was 2:00-3:00 pm). Hopefully we don't get sick from the wings like some other yelpers on here have. We will stick with Wing stop from now on. read more

It took me a couple times before I agreed to try the wings. I didn't want to betray Plucker's! The first time I got them delivered, I didn't care for them. (I think I got that chipotle honey mustard and honey BBQ) By the time they arrived at my door the chipotle honey mustard ones were very unappetizing to eat and even look at. I've decided those need to be eaten HOT and FRESH. Lately, I've become quite taken with Spicy BBQ Hawaiian. A little sweet a little spicy... in other words... just right! I don't know why they serve them with big carrot sticks? WTH? I want thinly sliced celery. But the fact that they do serve carrots is pretty cool. The ranch is ok. The onions rings are awesome! I tried to order online and ended up calling, some person that works there said they deliver and then called to say they don't. They only go to Parmer Lane and I am 2 blocks past that. They might have good food, but need to get their act together and make sure they know what they are talking about before telling a customer something. Message I sent to cooperate today. I really hope they address these issues. The food is absolutely great and fresh. I am currently sitting in your restaurant off of I-35 and Howard in Austin. I come here at least once a week if not more. For the past 4 visits, the service has not been great. I always have to wait at least 5 minutes at the host booth before anyone come out to seat me. Please keep in mind that it is not busy at these times. Then when I get to a table I have to wait at least a good 8-10 minutes for a waitress and today I had to ask for one. This is during my 1 hour lunch break so time is essential. I am not just going to say negative things. The food is always great, fresh and hot. The servers are nice when they finally come around and the hostess is always sweet. I have to say that I think she is not always available because she is always bussing tables. I just wanted to bring this to your attention because I want to continue to be a customer. I am really hoping you will be able to address this matter to speed things up a bit. I came here with my mom who barely speaks English and didn't expect to find a waitress who would cater to that at a wings place. To my surprise the manager Kathleen walked by and heard me translating when we sat down and made sure to set us up with a Spanish speaking waitress...I love hospitality like that. First after they took a while to bring about the food all the fries was cold and food was not good. Then we ordered our food and my appetizers never came out, all the food came out first when we are in the middle of the meal then we get our appetizers. Then we realized out lemon pepper wings didn't have lemon peppers on them.
