Such a hidden gem. Yes it's a "standard" menu, but the personal vibes and service cater to whatever you desire. ***You are NOT restricted to the Menu*** if you dream it, they will make it happen. Want Mole Chilli Relleno, ...not on the menu, but they will make it happen. BTW, waitress said "mom" makes the mole, and it's her recipe. No jar stuff here. Full disclosure, I started coming here because it's close to home, and the price is right. It's grown on me though and I truly enjoy the personal touch. read more

Found this place on Yelp! It only had 3.5 stars but I was intrigued by the photos and the 5 star written reviews. We were greeted and seated immediately. There is Spanish music playing at a perfect level to contribute to the ambiance without being too loud to hear yourself talk. Drinks came quickly and it was a HUGE glass of Diet Coke, which was really smart, because it was less likely that you would have to ask for refills. We ordered the fajita quesadilla, which I have never had before and it was really delicious. Big enough for two people to share as a casual lunch. The waitress continuously walked around refilling are salsa which was so great because the fresh tortilla chips that they brought out we're so yummy and we never had to ask for anything. Would totally recommend this place! It's a wonderful find the staff are friendly. The food is yummy and it's got great parking too. read more

This place was not bad. The rice and beans were flavorful and the al pastor taco was decent. Meat was a little dry and flavors were mild. The barbacoa tacos had a lot of fat in them so were only about half edible. I think between the two the al pastor ones were better. read more

Tonight was my first time visiting Las Salsas. I had queso compuesto, peach margarita(s), chicken flauta plate, and could not pass up a slice of chocolate cake. Every bite of food satisfied my taste buds. Service was impeccable. Julie you were AMAZING! I was dining alone and a family member, Araceli, (beautiful young lady) came to check on me and we had a sincere conversation. This was very much a welcoming environment and I could not have asked for a more pleasant experience. I will continue to support Las Salsas and encourage eneryone to give them a chance to earn your business. I'm not a fan. I ordered the Menudo. I don't know what kind of meat it was, but it wasn't tripe. (It was fattie.) They charged me for chips and salsa, and the chips must have been in the bottom of the bag. They were small and tiny. Food was over priced and very small portions, manager had a bad attitude and demeanor service was ok. Be careful of dining here as they charge you a 3.25% fee for using a debit card. Their excuse was 1. That's what that banks charge to use your card lmao and 2. That's what it costs to run the machine take your business elsewhere as this place just seems to be struggling to stay open and are making the locals pay for any little thing they can try to get away with. Las Salas is a hidden gem buried in a downtown Manor neighborhood. The food is good and unpretentious (i.e., the typical TexMex food found in most US suburbs, on par with Casa Garcia), but best of all...it's inexpensive, the service is fantastic, there's never a wait for a table, and their wine pours are as big as your head. It's a perfect cheap, easy weekend dine-out spot. We initially wandered into it because we were frustrated with the wait times at Casa Garcia and have returned frequently. #ProTip: Ask for a squeeze bottle of their green salsa picante. read more

Very disappointed. I got the tortilla soup, which is one of the two ways I always judge this type of restaurant. Incredibly bland. My other rating criteria is how is the salsa? They named their restaurant after salsa, so I expected a lot, and I was disappointed again. Their salsas are also surprisingly bland. My friends that I was with all enjoyed their meals, so maybe I made a wrong choice in my order, but we all agreed that we were very unhappy with the service. One friend had a service dog with her and the woman at the front door acted like we were walking in with a fire-breathing dragon. Also, there were eight of us and they refused to give us separate checks. We all said never again. read more

We came to Las Salsas to have breakfast. Everything was going well and we enjoyed the breakfast. When we requested our check, I noticed they were overcharging for the breakfast tacos and adding a sour cream order. While these are small amounts, I feel uncomfortable when it is my first time going to a restaurant and they overcharge. I asked our waiter and a lady came to clarify, but instead she got upset, I showed her the listed price in the menu and she got mad and told me to not pay anything and leave. I am very sad about this experience and it was my last at this place. The overcharge was a small mistake, but the attitude their manager / owner or person in charge took to handle the situation was very disappointing. I was respectful at all times and would've appreciated the same respect back. read more

We have visited two times since they relocated to downtown Manor. The service was good both times, even when they were busy. However, the food portions are pretty small, especially for the price. Both times we left barely feeling full. The food is good but nothing special. And the drink prices are also pretty high. Overall, it's worth checking out but won't be a spot we visit regularly. read more

We were excited to see these folks open up! The patio is well shaded and perfect in the early afternoon. The chips were fresh and warm, the salsa had a good little kick. We had a top shelf marg, the flautas, and the fajitas tejanas. I'm hoping to talk my wife into some flan next time. read more

This has been my go to place for dinner in manor for the last year. I really enjoy this place and I want to support local businesses, but lately their "systems are making me less inclined to go. The food is solid, and the staff is nice. However last time I came, we got charged extra because the computer couldn't count happy hour and now this time they charged us the same price for a virgin margarita as a regular one. So $11 for ice and flavor?! That doesn't include that up charge for non cash. Hesitant to continue with the unexpected billing. read more

Tried this place out even after a friend's opinion about it being nothing special and slow service. We went on a Sunday afternoon and the waitress was very attentive. Queso blows casa Garcia's out the water. I ordered the Torta Cubana with bistek. Meat was flavorful. It was a good Torta but Tacos la Sabroza food trailer down the street has bigger ones for less. Worse service ever. Came on a Sunday afternoon with my wife and son and got seated right away. We waited about 25 minutes and yet no server stop by to even ask us for our drinks. Another couple had walk in as well and seemed to be in the same situation as us, just waiting... restaurant not even half of its full capacity. I read all the reviews before we actually went to try it out tonight. Maybe Monday nights are the best time to go. We had four different waitresses waiting on us. We liked their flavorful small chili con queso. My husband had the Chicken Monterrey and said all was good. I had the chile relleno stuffed with chicken and it was great. The rice was like any other mexican restaurant, bbut those charo beans were WONDERFUL! They gave us chips x2 and two different sauces. I also had the Mexican Martini during happy hour. I was pleased.....maybe a little more tequilla. We will be going back. Need to try the trio fajitas next. Oh, and their corn and flour tortillas are very tasty. I have to agree with John M. about service at other Mexican restaurants here in Manor are definately lacking. One of those restaurants we will never go to again because when we ordered out they would NOT give us chips and dip. But if we went in and sat down they would. Never had this happen to us....we will NEVER go back to them...CG. That was rediculous. read more
