Skinny marg and frozen mango margarita
    Yzabelle O.

Had an amazing experience at the new Chili's in Manor--so excited to have one open up in the area! Our server Savvi was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful with all our menu questions. She had such a sweet and welcoming attitude that made our visit even better. Service was fast--our drinks, appetizer, and food all came out quickly and perfectly timed. Even the manager stopped by to check in, which we really appreciated! Here's what we ordered: * Skinny Margarita * Frozen Mango Margarita * Southwestern Eggrolls (a must!) * Chicken Fajitas with corn tortillas * Classic BBQ Platter Everything was hot, fresh, and flavorful. Our table was spotless, and every team member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The bar area is spacious with a couple of TVs--great for catching a game--and there's a good mix of booths and tables throughout the restaurant. We'll definitely be back. Whether you're in the mood for margaritas, apps, or a hearty meal, this location delivers great service and a clean, comfortable dining experience. Note: Parking is a bit tight, so plan accordingly during busy times.

Amazing service! We spoke to their manager because our server was great! Plus you can't beat a $6 marg. They're doing a great job.

I've traveled all over Texas and across the U.S., and I can say without hesitation that Las Cocinas Mexican Grill is hands-down the BEST Mexican restaurant I have ever been to -- and that includes all of Austin. My family and I come here several times a week, even though we don't live close by. That alone should tell you how incredible this place is. Must-try favorites (do NOT skip these): The Margaritas - Very strong and absolutely perfect. Order them half & half (half on the rocks, half frozen). Trust me -- you'll thank me later. Nachos Al Carbon (Appetizer) - The beef fajita meat is out of this world. Tender, flavorful, and unforgettable. Beef Fajitas Cremosas (Entrée) - Get them with EXTRA sun-dried tomatoes. Oh. My. God. I have never had anything like this in my life, and it's something I crave several times a week. Stuffed Jalapeños - So good I sometimes order them as my entire meal. And the onion rings they're served on? Easily the best onion rings I've ever had anywhere. Beyond the food, the staff is absolutely amazing. From the moment you walk in, they make you feel like family -- warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy you're there. That kind of service is rare, and it's one of the many reasons this place is so special to us. And yes -- I always forget to take pictures of my food because I eat it before I remember to take photos for a review . That should tell you everything you need to know about how good it is. We are incredibly thankful for Las Cocinas. It's not just our favorite Mexican restaurant -- it's our favorite restaurant, period, and the best in the entire area by a mile. Perfect in every way.

David got me water and took my order right away, and the kitchen had my tacos out in what felt like no time at all, probably within five minutes. What I appreciated most was how smooth everything was. David kept my water full without me having to ask, and when I asked for a bag and foil to take a taco home, he brought salsa with it because he already knew I'd probably want some. Small details like that make a difference. The hosts were friendly, the kitchen was efficient, and the overall experience was exactly what you'd hope for when stopping in for a quick meal. Good food, good service, and no waiting around. I'll definitely be back.

We had some queso with hamburger and guacamole for the table. I was fairly certain I didn't want to try it but I did and I actually thought it was delicious. The red and green salsas were both very good. I got the camerones al mojo de ajo. Very good - beans even better. The shrimp were claimed to be in a light garlic sauce - I'd say rather it was an incredibly strong garlic sauce - but I love garlic and I'm here for it. But to be sure, I think I will smell garlic for a least the next day (if not more). Got the Mexican martini at the happy hour price. Great price! Very confused at the drink - sweet with olives. Not bad - just don't know quite all what it was, but to be sure I did drink it. Very solid place - would go back again for sure!

If you blink driving through Elgin you will miss this wonderful restaurant. We were definitely getting hangry on our return trip, and Yelp thankfully directed us here. Since it was late at night, they were not busy. They do have daily specials, but we went our ole faithful, enchiladas. We did start with chips and salsa. These chips are solid and allow you to scoop up their slightly spicy and rich salsa. I ordered their Tex-Mex enchiladas. These are 3 large enchiladas. I ordered one of each chicken, beef, and cheese. They arrived stuffed to the gills and covered with awesome queso. The dish comes with a generous portion of beans and Mexican rice. Taqueria Guadalajara is the real deal, and we will definitely be returning on our next road trip. I left just like my enchiladas pleasantly "stuffed to the gills"! As others have mentioned, the building has seen better days, but the food and service are superb! ,

Parking: is limited in the restaurant but they have a lot across the street where there are plenty of spaces. Service: fantastic! Food: Delicious! I ordered the green chicken enchiladas and they were full of flavor and perfectly portioned, satisfying without feeling like you can't walk afterwards. The stretch has that classic South Austin mix of neighborhood restaurants, a few shops, and the usual mix of locals and visitors drifting between South First and the nearby South Congress energy. It feels a little more residential and laid-back than downtown, but still busy enough that finding a spot is its own adventure. Parking is terrible. Almost all of it is street parking, and I spent the whole meal half-convinced someone was going to break into my car. Not ideal. Inside, the green light coming down from the roof was constantly distracting. It washed over everything and made the food look dark and burnt no matter what was actually on the plate. We started with chips and queso, which was the bright spot--solid and satisfying. Then the birria arrived, and it was probably the worst I've ever had. Way too smoky, like someone had left the meat next to a campfire overnight and forgotten about it. The Mexico City-inspired quesadilla is basically a fried empanada. It was okay, but the dough was thick and overly fried, more heavy than crisp. We also had a couple of margaritas. They definitely packed a punch, but they tasted like they'd been mixed with some low-rent mezcal that didn't belong in the glass. I don't see what the hype is about. Won't be returning. Austin needs to stick to BBQ and give up on Mexican food.
