This place as of my writing, has been open for at least three months and has 10 reviews. I've been to other Longhorn steakhouses and they've always lived up to expectations, but not here. Let's start with what went right because it's all downhill from there. The only bright spot concerning our visit was that my outlaw ribeye was cooked exactly the way I liked it , salads were fresh and the complementary wheat bread was good. Let's start from the beginning. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant and it took a few minutes for someone to arrive and show us our seat. No big deal. We started with their featured lemon drop martini and I had their house margarita. Unfortunately they do not serve frozen margaritas, and mine consisted of about 4 ounces of liquid, lots of ice and was watered down. Not something I would ever order again. The lemon drop martini was a little better, but it had lots of pithy residue floating in it. My wife decided she did not like the martini and ordered a blue moon instead which didn't arrive until we were finished with the meal so we sent it back. I decided not to experiment with anything else from the bar. One thing we noticed halfway through our very salty meal was that we were never offered any water to wash this down with. My wife ordered the filet mignon with okra and it literally looked like it came from Golden Corral. She had to peel off the breading on the okra because it was so salty. Yet one more thing worthy of avoiding. I got a baked potato on the side and asked for butter, and it came out thoroughly encrusted in kosher salt with just a smidge of butter that left the majority of it unappetizing. Service was OK, but we never did get any waters. If the bill came to $50 for the two of us, this would be a three star review, but when you're plunking down a C note for lunch, you expect more. After reading through the other reviews, I was surprised there were no business manager comments. It seems they have more misses than hits which means the formula isn't quite working here yet and not worth the money. You're better off at the Road House or at one of their other locations. 10 informative photos included.

Manor has been growing quickly and has long needed some finer dining options. This is the first one that I've seen here with the addition of Longhorn Steakhouse. It follows the regular formula with the very nice but comfortable interior with a bar and dining area. Service is excellent here. I made it a point to let the manager know how we felt welcome and served well. No surprises with the menu, but the food was hot and well executed. Highly recommended.

I won't lie, the food is very salty. If you have high blood pressure, I would order conservatively. Overall, the food is wonderful and delicious and wonderful... I have a feeling nothing is bad on this menu. We tonight ordered an all encompassing meal for sides and a dessert to taste test the menu. We were very happy with everything we sunk our teeth into. The experience was incredible and the trainers were there to help make sure everyone was doing their job. Our server Amelia was the best and did everything she could to make our experience well worth it. Longhorn Steakhouse has a very large floor plan and which allows servers and guests to move around. It doesn't feel crowded at all. We were always in eyesight of our server and she made us feel welcome at all times. Congratulations to all you tonight. We look forward to many visits. Manor needs a dining restaurant like this.

Do we go out for steak? No..Why? Its Expensive!....Was it worth it?...Absolutely! From the time we arrived until the time we left the whole experience was fantastic....Customer Service is easily one of the best we had any of the Manor dine in locations. Everyone is friendly and they all seem to enjoy working there...Our server was No exception...Nathli Did a fantastic job! We started with the Brisket Queso which was great...they don't shy away from the brisket!! Both opted for the Caesar Salad...Large in size...crisp lettuce..great dressing...load of Parm....Wife went with the Flos Filet...cooked perfectly and so flavorful...She Also went with a side of Mac...creamy and a great crust on top....I went with the Outlaw Ribeye...ridiculously delicious...I was almost ashamed I could actually finish it...Almost...I did bring the bone home to gnaw on as not to scare the children...also had a cup of the Lobster Chowder...I would come just to eat that!!...Lets not forget the bread at the beginning...truly a nice touch...Yes...this was pricey...but what a treat it was!!...Worth every last penny!! Nice to have a High End joint in Manor...and only 7 minutes from the house....We will see you again soon!

I've ordered the kids steak for my daughter multiple times and the quality has been good. However, this time the steak was so small I thought they surely made a mistake. She couldn't even chew the meat. I don't know if the quality of the steak went down along with the size or if a steak that small is going to be difficult to chew regardless of quality or how it's cooked. She wasn't even able to eat the 3.8 ounces that were given. I spoke to the manager and he nonchalantly told me that the kids steak changed from 6 ounces to 4, but the price stayed the same. No apology or compensation. I will not be returning. Attached picture has a large Hill country fair brand egg for size reference.

Could not accommodate 8 people when the entire floor was not occupied. Manager said they don't have enough tables since opening.

Once we were seated, we started with two glasses of water which had an odd aftertaste like unfiltered city water. Have to admit they have a very extensive and varied menu which includes steaks, burgers and health conscience meals, but was surprised they don't serve onion rings. I got the bacon cheeseburger which came with plenty of bacon, but no lettuce or tomato. The fries were nothing special and needed plenty of ketchup to make them interesting which is why I was hoping for onion rings. The wife faired better with her chicken fajitas. She was happy with plenty of sides and lots of guacamole ($3 extra charge). When it's time to settle up, you can run your card on the Ziosk which is on the table where you can donate to Saint Jude's and complete a brief survey. You can join their rewards program which gives you bottomless chips and salsa on every visit and a free dessert on your birthday. The food is good and affordable and the service is quick and efficient. The 10 photos included spell out the rest of the story.

We've been twice for lunch, but yesterday we spontaneously decided to break routine and go out for breakfast. We're still off of our diets after vacation in Paris, and we both secretly wanted to extend vacation (and indulgent food) one more day before facing work and healthy habits on Monday. Normally we get eggs for breakfast at other diners, but this time we were thinking alike, and decided to get the thing most unlike what we regularly eat - waffles topped with bananas, chocolate chips, and peanut butter, with chicken on the side. Sugar free syrup was an option, thankfully, because I have to reign it in somewhere. The waffle wasn't quite as crispy as I like, but with all those toppings it would be hard for it to be bad! However, the chicken tenders were the surprise hit of the meal! They were moist and the breading was light and crispy. There were quite a few people there on a Sunday morning, and some seemed to be regulars. I'd like to find something on the menu that wows me so that we become regulars too, but so far it's coming in at just satisfactory. Since we don't allow ourselves many treat meals, the calories really have to be worth it to keep coming back. We'll give it a few more tries. Our servers were extremely friendly. I want to love this place! We'll try a few more times and see what the verdict is!

Now it's been many years since I've been home but it's a craving that is always there and hard to fill. Cafe 290 does just that! Great home cooked meals, typical Diner sized portions (very large) and breakfast at any time of the day! Let's be honest, it's never the wrong time for breakfast! It feels like you are sitting in your home kitchen, the staff are very nice, and the atmosphere is typical Texas Diner, and there is nothing wrong with that! Few pictures, and good ole classic cheeseburger! 1lb of meat... good luck, taste great but sheesh, it's hefty, the quesadilla is 10/10 with chicken, idk why it just bangs every time! And the very classic egg omelette! Get the diced potatoes, it's all divine! LASTLY and probably most important! THEY HAVE HOMEMADE CAKE AND PIE by the slice. It's expensive, listen to me here, it's worth the price, massive slices and fresh every day and THEY ARE INCREDIBLE!

We're so glad we gave it a try! Buns on the Run ATX is among 3-4 other food trucks at its location--it might not be preferable to eat outside with this heat, but know that this spot does have a covered seating area with a good amount of benches to sit in and enjoy your meal. We were greeted by a very nice woman inside who took our order. I went basic this time around and ordered a Cheeseburger with a side of fries. The seasoning on both was perfect and the patty was SOOOO soft and juicy. The buns used were airy and soft as well. Ugh. It was just delicious, I regretted not getting the double patty. Not sure what their sauce includes and I don't want to guess and be super wrong, but it did contribute to the overall taste of the burger. The fries had a seasoning that also gave them great flavor, they were right in the perfect middle between crisp and soft, which I personally like! Skip the fast food and make your way here and enjoy something local and fresh!! Definitely will be back!!
