Mother's Day lunch with my girls and it was sweet. There wasn't a line and they and staff at the door to greet us with a carnation, bright smiles and well wishes. Thank you it really is the simple things. Our waitress was sweet and managed to check on us multiple times while balancing other things. She didn't miss a beat. This was hands down the worst experience I've ever had at a Texas Roadhouse. We were seated in a back section with no AC, and it was so ridiculously hot that it was difficult to even sit there and enjoy our meal. Nobody should have to sweat through their dinner just because they were seated in a certain section of the restaurant. Then the food came out and somehow managed to make the experience even worse. The burger was so soggy that it was literally falling apart in my hands. It was a complete mess to eat and, on top of that, didn't even taste good. The only good part of the entire experience was our waitress. She was great and did the best she could, but unfortunately she couldn't make up for how bad everything else was. I've been to Texas Roadhouse plenty of times and have never had an experience this bad. It was my first time dining at Texas Roadhouse and everything was great from the service, ambiance, to food. I came on a weekday and it was pretty busy. I did join the waitlist on their website so I didn't wait long for a table. The rolls are amazing and so tasty with their butter. I ordered the prime rib with house salad and mashed potatoes. It was cooked medium as I requested and was very tender and juicy. Also a great price at under $30 for a 16oz. 7/4/25 They have a roach infestation! A cockroach with an egg on its back running on the booth I was sitting at. The manager ran over and said they just sprayed it Monday and have weekly fumigation specifically to treat the cockroaches from coming out. I think she was throw off and a little too honest when she said that. She apologized and offered to see if she can change my booth?! I said no thank you we're not eating here. First time here!! Holy cow it did not disappoint, I was wanting to visit since moving to Texas and it was such a fun place for a quick family dinner. My advice: put your name on the waitlist! That way you aren't stuck waiting at the restaurant for too long. Our serve Elijah was super friendly and quick with taking our orders and refilling our drinks. If you order veggies as a side, they even cook the broccoli properly. Amazing. Yes, it is loud and hectic, and they make the servers wear short shorts and stupid T-shirts that read "I love my job!" And they make them chat with you on the way to your table and always ask if you've ever been there before. And if anyone around you is having a birthday, well good luck and I hope you brought earplugs because they will scream and clap and make you yell "Yeehaw." Our waitress (Monce? Monsay? can't remember the exact name) was unfortunately not very friendly. We ordered medium steaks, but came out well done. When we asked to remake it, she immediately said it would take "15 minutes," then later came back saying 8-10 minutes and that the manager would bring the steak to us. Our check was split even though no one asked for separate bills. When we asked to combine it, she asked rudely, "Oh, you don't want to split anymore?" even though we never requested it in the first place. What bothered us most was that while I was paying, she stood next to us asking and asking for empty plates and SNAPPED her fingers for us to pass them. The best time to eat here is between 4PM and 6 PM(Mon-Fri)the crowd has not quite arrived and the food is not rushed, therefore much more likely to be consistent. We ate here for a date night, and we were served by Diana, who was an amazing server. She checked on us regularly, it's lent and I gave up sugar, and I have a heart condition so I cannot have caffeine(so no unsweet tea), I brought my own coke zero caffeine in (because aside from water, there was nothing else I could drink and enjoy), I just asked for a cup of Ice and explained why and she was absolutely understanding(which made the meal even better, great food with a nice beverage!). Absolutely NOTHING was wrong with our meal!! The steak (which is a hit or miss here), was cooked to PERFECTION, OMG does it make us want to go back for more. I ordered the bone-in ribeye, with mashed taters and a side salad(to go), we had potato wedges for an app, my Husband ordered the porterhouse, with a loaded baked potato(which was huge and looked so good, a food blogger would have been so happy to have been served that), and a Caesar side salad. Everything again was so wonderful, I wish consistency was high when it comes to the steak, but sometimes TRH can miss that mark, but never on customer service. The service was SO slow for a Tuesday night. I can't imagine coming here on a weekend. Family of 4 dining in- we checked in ahead of time online. When we received the "head to see the host" message, we ended up waiting another 15-20 minutes at the podium. Our server was extremely slow. Had to ask the manager a few times for items at the table. Husband ordered steak and ribs, steak med rare. His ribs were very dry and the steak was well done. My daughter ordered Mac and cheese...it looked so dry and like it had come from a box. My first time at this location and had placed a takeout order. When I arrived, they couldn't find mine, so I verified with my email etc. Another person comes up to the counter and asks if somebody else could have picked up my order. I just moved here and it's just me, so this wasn't a possibility but it's fair that she asked the question. Then she states that someone came and provided my name and number and she gave my order to them. The manager then came over and asked the same things. I felt like I was doing something wrong by the end of it. In conclusion, the order was nowhere to be found and they would "cover it for me and re-make the order". That part is confusing because there was nothing being "covered" as my order was given to the wrong person. I still paid the full price, etc. I then was told it would be 5-10 minutes. Twenty minutes later my order is complete. When I got home, two of my items were not good. The ribs were very tough and stuck to the bone. My onion blossom wasn't cut to the bottom of the onion and I couldn't even pry it apart due to the stem still being intact. The fries were well seasoned and actually really good. Dined here for dinner. Our party was relatively large so they had to split us into two tables. I have dined at Texas Roadhouse in California but have never been a big fan. Maybe because it's a chain, or maybe because I don't think the quality is that great. Nonetheless, we had a family dinner at this location. We ordered a bit of everything -- mostly items to share amongst one another. I had a ribeye with the bone in as that came highly recommended. It was good but the company was better. With regard to service, our servers did the best they could given it was a very busy dinner service. After 2 years, I thought it was time for an update. Much of what I said previously is still true, so my previous post is still relevant. There is one new issue worth pointing out though. They used to have a much larger indoor waiting area, but they turned that space in to a "to go" window area. That means if you have a wait time, you'll be spending it in a small hot area by the front door or outside roasting in the sun where shade is sparce. Even though we did the online advance check in, we were lucky to still spend 20 minutes by the busy front door. Another unique little item you will find sitting on your table is a Ziosk. These little computer gimmicks seem to be popping up on restaurant tables wherever I go. Apparently people don't have a problem plugging money into these things while they wait for their dinner. At least they do allow you to cash out with a credit card. The only problem is that it does not give you the breakdown which means you might be paying for something you didn't receive. It does give you the option to print out your receipt which I recommend. Typically we come here on a weekday, but this time we came on Saturday evening, which I do not advise due to the crowd. I have to admit the wait staff here is very competent when it comes to handling a crowded Saturday evening. This is still one of my favorite places to grab a steak, just not on a Saturday. read more

Went for a celebration dinner last night with 6 in our group. We did the call ahead reservations. We were told 1 1/2 hours which is a long time to wait to eat. Once our number was called at about the exact time promised we were seated quickly. The bread was manna from heaven. We were hungry and our server Marcus came quickly and knew we needed to eat. He took our drink orders, and we also gave him our Food orders. He was a great server. The salads came out fast. We loved the salads and ate every bite. The main dinner came, and it was not perfect. One of the orders was for a steak and ribs as an addition. The ribs were totally burnt and really uneatable. He showed it to Marcus and he made it right asap. My Son in Law decided not to get a replacement 1/2 so Marcus took it off the bill and gave him a Modelo for his troubles. That is Great Customer Service. My daughter was not happy with the cook on her steak but did not mention it to the server. Her Dogs ate good that night. Incident at Texas Roadhouse - Injury and Lack of Follow-up On September 20, 2025, at 7 pm, I had dinner with my daughter and some friends at your restaurant. While we were seated, eating, and watching the Texas game on my friend's phone, a heavy iron bar chair unexpectedly fell backward and struck my foot. An employee noticed and briefly asked, "Are you okay?" but did not wait for my response and walked away to attend to another table. No one else from the staff came to check on me afterward. I had to call over our waitress and ask to speak with a manager to report the incident. When the manager came over, I explained what had happened and asked if they could review the security camera footage. I was told that the cameras did not capture the angle where we were sitting. The manager confirmed that the bar chairs are made of heavy iron and offered to make an accident report. I agreed, as I was in pain, and the manager took down all my information on a piece of paper. I was told that someone from the corporate office would contact me for a formal report. However, I never received a follow-up call or email. I followed up myself by calling the store on September 23rd and asked to speak with the manager, Mickey Enozl, but was informed she was unavailable. I spoke with another manager, Mary Ann, who said she was unaware of the incident but would inform the corporate office. Again, I have not received any follow-up since that call. I also visited a doctor to have my foot checked. Thankfully, there were no broken bones--just bruising--but this was still a painful and concerning experience. What's even more disappointing is the complete lack of follow-up or concern from Texas Roadhouse. As a long-time customer, I expected better care and responsibility, especially following an incident that could have been more serious. Based on how this was handled--or not handled--I no longer feel safe or valued as a guest at your establishment. read more
