I was actually shocked at how perfect this takeout taco salad looked when I opened the box. A+ from me! The shell was still warm and everything tasted delicious and super fresh.

My first time at this location, let's just start off with the customer service right off. The back was excellent right when we walked in we had an excellent server that helped with our every need. The ambience was amazing. Everything was super clean and festive, and the food was delicious. I will definitely be coming back for the enchiladas and the Michelada, which was virgin was excellent as well if you haven't been to this location, I definitely recommend it!!! 10 out of 10

During my recent initial visit to MasFajitas in Pflugerville, TX, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment we arrived, all of the staff were attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring that our dining experience was as pleasant as possible. Our drinks stayed full. Their professionalism and warmth truly stood out and made us feel welcome. However, the food did not meet our expectations. The fajitas I ordered arrived unsliced, making them difficult to enjoy. It was missing some of that skillet tasting flavor with seasoning. Otherwise, it came on a nice hot skillet. So my experience I will rate the fajitas like a 2.5. Additionally, my family ordered the birria tacos which they said lacked the rich, savory flavor typically associated with this dish, they all stated their experience was quite bland. My friend ordered the pulled pork plate, but unfortunately, it didn't leave a lasting impression either. It was bland as well. He let me taste it and I must say from my experience it just was missing the zest of flavor from a traditional pulled pork. While the culinary experience fell short, the outstanding service provided by the staff was a redeeming aspect of our visit. I hope my next experience the kitchen can elevate the quality of their dishes to match the high standard of their staff's service. Alcoholic beverages were pretty tasty but not too strong not too light. I will their drinks an 8. Our table pretty tight for a group of six. Some tables had enough room for a party our size but not many. Parking in the private was plentiful and without issue. I may or may not try this play again in the future. However, it really didn't leave me with an impression to try it again.

From the time we walked to the time we left the exerience overall was very good. Promptly greeted and seated. Place is looking pretty good with the fresh decor. They were fairly busy, so service was a tad slow...but for us...we are Never in a hurry for lunch with really nowhere to be. Started with Chips, Salsa and Queso...we decided to live a little and add Chorizo which was a great touch. Salsa was a bit smoky...Chips were fresh...We also ordered street corn in a cup...good, but with they would use fresh charred corn for a better flavor...They said they forgot the Mayo and brought out packets of Mayo to add...not sure if this is how they roll, but it worked out as the wife is not a fan of Mayo anyway...so she had her share and I added Mayo to the rest. Wife had the Beef Chiladas with double rice...And she went with the Diablo sauce...which is a Chipotle front note, with a Habanero kicker at the end...She made it thru with one eye watering, but the flavor was great and the heat level did top off AND she would get it again...I went with the new Jalapeno Ranch Chicken Enchiladas...Finally!! a different sauce to try...and it was good...Beans were sold and we both liked the rice.

Even though I'm still sad that FD's is gone, I REALLY REALLY LOVE this place! I'm truly so surprised to see some of these yelp reviews! I can share that I've had nothing but good experiences and I've come here at least 6 times now! It's one of my new favorite places! I've come with my partner, brought some of my besties here and enjoyed their happy hour (the drink specials are really good) and even had a friend's Birthday lunch here! The food is so good and staff has always been super friendly ! I love their salsa and the thin chips! For appetizers I've had the Shrimp Ceviche Tostada which is amazing and the Fiesta Fries which have enchilada sauce on them! For entrees the (Mario's Enchi-Guisada, Beef Fajitas, Carnitas platter, Beef Birria Tacos, Protein Bowl and the Mas Fajitas Salad) are all so good! I've re-ordered the salad the most, it's huge and full of veggies and a good healthier choice! Overall everything has been super yummy and is really well priced! Don't listen to a few bad experiences, try it for yourself because coming from someone who lives 5 mins down the road this is my go to place now!

Garbo's reminds me of the Boathouse in Orlando if the food was actually good. The staff was…read morecommunicative about my group of five's expected wait time, and the waiting area was open with comfortable lounge chairs. I'm certain I would have dozed off in one if we weren't called up. We sat outdoor alongside several other families with kids. The music wasn't super loud and the tables were generously spaced so we weren't close enough for other peoples' conversations to distract from our own. We then ordered the following: Smoked Fish Dip Maine Crab Cakes Brussels Sprouts Fish Sandwich Lobster Grilled Cheese Lobster Pot Pie The smoked fish dip was good but nothing crazy. My sister had suggested the fried calamari instead, but my love of bread overrode my familial devotion. The dip itself was moist with no excess liquid and spread easily onto the provided cuts of sourdough toast. My only critique is that the dip seems like it's missing something, but I'm not food-smart enough to know what. However, because of my bread bias, this is still a 4/5. The crab cakes on the other hand were amazing. There was no excess oil soaking the fried crust and the crab meat inside wasn't over-salted, as I've come to expect from most crab cakes. These were highly enjoyable with bites of avocado and mandarin in between to balance the fried elements. 4.5/5 The Brussels sprouts were well-roasted, with a nice vinaigrette coating their crispy outsides. I expect this level of quality for Brussels sprouts from American restaurants at this point, so no surprises, just good in general. 4/5 Skipping the fish sandwich as unfortunately I didn't get to try them, but it looked and smelled great. I had one bite of the lobster grilled cheese, so take this particular review with a grain of salt. The smokiness of the cheeses sits on top of everything else without overpowering, while the lobster, bacon, and tomatoes provide a great mix of fat and brine. This is a lowbrow surf and turf between bread, and it's perfect. 5/5 Finally, we come to my own order, the lobster pot pie. Unfortunately, I shared this with the aforementioned sister and didn't get the full experience. The dish came piping hot and fresh, and the puff pastry was flaky and not overbaked. Internals-wise, I could see myself eating just the cream sauce like a chowder. It was perfectly flavored with veggies and herbs, with regular chunks of lobster. Not too salty and absolutely decadent, would not share again. 5/5 Overall, this was a highly enjoyable experience with fast, not rushed, service and an amazing spread. This is an easy recommendation for a family-friendly restaurant with lowkey vibes, and I'll forsure visit again when I'm back in town.

The second time was at Joes crab Shack and the crab there was empty and they mixed up the flavors with the incredibly spicy one. Like the saying goes third times the charm. Came here with my fiancé over the weekend. First and foremost the service was great. Our server was very friendly and helpful. She also informed us that they had an all day happy hour so we ordered a pitcher of margarita. Everything came out fast, the flavors were great, and for the price the amount in the bag was great. I don't care what anyone says... this is the BEST SEAFOOD BAG BOILS around Austin... yes I know…read morethis is Round Rock but we live in Austin & have tried EVERY place here so we started surrounding areas. The service is top tier! The staff comes by to make sure you're good constantly so you never go long waiting for refills or to get some attention for an issue. The vibe is great, TVs on & the place is always clean. I read a review complaining about the napkins & buckets that's STUPID af. Don't come to a seafood place if tha bothers you. I love that they had the whole roll of brown paper towels so we don't have to keep asking. The buckets are super helpful to clear out the soft shells of the shrimp instead of piling on a plate. The FLAVOR is ALWAYS ON POINT!!! We even tried the other location but the Round Rock location beats it! We always go for date night. It's much lower priced than @Boiling Crab & taste 100x better than their soggy shrimp! Hook & Reel is just a hard pass... it's not flavorful. LA Crawfish is not good & Krab Kings is overpriced for mid food. I make my own seafood boils & ppl would rather buy from me than go to the other locations. Surfin Crab is the only one who beats me! Most times I can't even get a pic because we dive in! Oooh & food is always fast!

I walked into Surfing Crab hoping for one of those unapologetically messy seafood boils -- the kind…read morewhere you're tying your hair back, rolling up your sleeves, and mentally preparing to smell like garlic butter for the rest of the day. Sadly... this wasn't that experience. I ordered the boil with a pound of crab, head‑on shrimp, squid, corn, and those thin little sausage slices you see at most Cajun spots. The seasoning landed squarely in the middle -- not offensive, not impressive, just sitting there like it was waiting for someone to give it direction. I asked for hot, but what I got tasted more like a medium that didn't want to commit. And the shrimp? Head‑on and not deveined. That gave them a gamy, muddy undertone that took away from the whole boil. At this price point, deveining shouldn't be a luxury add‑on. We also tried the appetizer sampler -- calamari, egg rolls, cheese sticks -- and everything tasted suspiciously similar, like it all took the same little swim in the same fryer without a break. Nothing was terrible, but nothing had personality. These were the kind of appetizers you can find anywhere, and not the kind you remember later. My partner ordered the shrimp po'boy, and while the portion was generous, the breading overwhelmed the shrimp. He ended up peeling most of it off just to get to the actual protein. When the breading becomes the main character, that's a sign the dish needs editing. Now, the mixed drinks? Those were actually good -- balanced, not overly sweet, and honestly the highlight of the meal. And I have to give credit where it's due: our waitress was attentive, friendly, and checked on us consistently without hovering. She did everything right. The food just didn't match her level of service. And look... I'm not trying to be dramatic, but I've had better crab at HEB during crawfish season for a fraction of the price. When your grocery‑store boil is hitting harder than the restaurant version, that's saying something. Overall, Surfing Crab wasn't a disaster, but it wasn't memorable either. For the price and the concept, I expected more depth, more spice, and more care in the prep. This one's a pass for me -- especially when I know I can get fresher, better‑seasoned seafood elsewhere without the premium price tag.
