This place is located in a mini strip center right next to Dave's ultimate automotive. On the other side is a nail spot and Foganero Argentine restaurant. In case you're getting your car worked on like I was, you can always stop in here for breakfast or lunch. They also have a full bar in case your repair bill exceeded your savings account. I kept my order pretty simple with just a couple of breakfast tacos, and a glass of orange juice which was much larger than I expected. I like the fact that it came with a small fresh carafe of salsa and green sauce. There's well over a dozen tables to sit at and cajunto music playing overhead. They do offer DoorDash, but it's always best to dine in. My 2 tacos and very large orange juice with tax came out to nine dollars. You just can't beat that deal which earns them five stars. I haven't been here since we had a poor experience during COVID and I have to say I'm blown away by how good it is. The pastor taco and barbacoa tacos were delicious. The salsa was so good we ate 3 servings. My boyfriend got the migas which were perfectly cooked. Service was lax, but we didn't have any issues getting what we needed. I ordered from this restaurant again, and this was my last time doing so. Pros: NONE Cons: The chimichanga was soft and mushy! It was not fried! It sat in the same compartment as watery lettuce and soupy sour cream, which totally defeats the purpose of ordering a chimichanga, which is supposed to be crunchy! He said that because of that promo, they would be giving the salsa that was ordered and paid for away for free. So, instead of putting it in the bag because it was, in fact, paid for, they decided to recoup the discount issued by Doordash by NOT putting it in the bag!!!! Are you serious!?!? That's stealing from the customer who paid for the item and only used the promo given to them by Doordash. I was shocked that he even admitted that. For the past week I've been craving mini tacos so deeply and I am not referring to my decision. The service was nice, and fast. They know the menu. Outside seating is available along with inside dining. I believe I waited 10 minutes for my order, which is fantastic! For the mini tacos, It came with cilantro, grilled onions , and a jalapeno with a side of charro beans. This place does not have free refills on Ice Tea anymore but does not tell you. You just get another glass and then get charged another $2.99 Also they now charge a Auto-Gratutity on all orders but it is hidden unless you get a itemized copy of your receipt. You go to pay for your food and they just give you a total. Unless you are on your toes and know what your total should be you`ll miss that it`s $6-$7 more than it should be. Then your CC receipt will have a line for a tip. So they expect their Auto-Gratutity then if you miss it to be tipped again. read more

I'm so glad we found this little restaurant!! We've been looking for a Mexican restaurant that had cheese enchiladas that lived up to my husband's standards and has enough of a variety of other things for me. This place definitely ticked those boxes!! My husband's go to are 3 cheese enchiladas with queso on top, plus Mexican rice and refried beans. And they did not disappoint. Flavorful and cheesy. I love their variety of tacos and got 1 chicharrones, 1 Al pastor, and 1 tripas. My favorite was the chicharrones. Super crunchy and juicy. Would definitely recommend that one, although the other 2 tacos were still super delicious. The downside was that the drinks weren't very good. We ordered a Michelada and frozen strawberry margarita. We were so excited to try this place. We were steps away from Taco More in Round Rock and decided to try something new for a change. When we arrived, they said to sit anywhere. We sat down at a table and waited. The kids were starving having just come from swim lessons which is why we opted for Mexican so they could start with chips and salsa. When she brought the drinks, I requested the chips and salsa and she said yes. Other tables came after us and they all had chips and salsa before us. I had to ask multiple times before it was brought to our table. It's ok, I understand they're trying their best. My husband ordered Migas with beef fajitas added to it. He asked if they would substitute nopales for the potatoes that came with his plate. They said yes but it would be an up charge which he agreed to. They were so bad. They tasted spoiled and had a dirty odor and flavor to them. We were very nice and asked the lady to take them away. I later had to remind them not to charge us for them when we paid because they were sent back. Other than that, I believe he enjoyed his meal and said the tortillas were homemade. Our kids both had enchilada plates off the kids menu and we asked for a side of sour cream which never came and our three-year-old just kept sitting there saying he was waiting for his sour cream. We packed up most of his food to go home. I eat keto so I ordered the beef fajitas and asked if I could get anything other than rice and beans to which I was told no substitutions. That's OK. When my food came, she told me to be careful that the platter was hot but I can guarantee you that my food was not fresh. The fajitas tasted dry and microwaved like they were left over from yesterday. I was really sad about that. No sizzle, and honestly there were lots of bits of shredded lettuce at the bottom of the platter... The fajitas tasted dry and reheated like they were left overs. I was really sad about that. Horrible service. The newer lady who works mornings has invisible customer service skills. They have messed up my order numerous times. I asked for a refund and to fix an order and they never gave an apology but asked to to drive back up for them to fix it instead of getting a refund. The tacos were a great treat every week but I will now bypass this place and select another because the service and remedy of any problem does not seem to compute with this front line staff. We had such a great experience at La Casita I forgot to take a ton of photos. Our classic truck group met up for breakfast Saturday, 18 June 2022. We had a group of 12 and they easily accommodated us. The entire staff was friendly and efficient. Food came out hot, fresh, and fast! All of our orders were correct. The one phot I did remember to take was of the enchiladas Mexicana with chicken. I would 100% order it again. Also in the photo is my husbands ham and cheese omelette with he enjoyed. It was 12:30pm when we stopped by and the parking lot was full and no spot for us to park. Thinking this place must be really good since the parking lot was full. An authentic taqueria to meee = Serves great salsa verde (green sauce) & chips, offers tacos de lengua, tripas AND chorizo con huevos with homemade flour AND corn tortillas, and to drink offers fresh limonada (lemonade), jamaica (hibiscus sweet water), & horchata (sweet rice/cinnamon water), AND my fave tostadas AND gorditas. Not to mention THEY WERE SOPPING WET and completely fell apart when I attempted to pick it up. They tasted like they'd been sitting around for hours. Disgusting. This place opens at 6 am and closes at 2 pm, we came at 12 noon and they were almost full, and know we know firsthand why...they're very good. We shared an some ground beef enchiladas covered in queso and a Monday lunch special of carne guisada, very tender and full of flavor, i loved the flour tortillas that came with my carne. Very good service and awesome food, my wife asked a bunch of questions about different sauces to top her enchiladas and the young lady that waited on us politely answered all her queries. A new gem in Pville! I have been here on several occasions for breakfast and have no bee disappointed. I have tried the breakfast tacos and have not been disappointed. They run a special that if you order 3 of the same (2 ingredient) tacos you get them for like $2.99. I think there maybe another restriction on there but That's still a good deal in my book! The breakfast tacos are very filling, 2 of them usually fill me up and 3 will make me want to lay down and take a nap. Be sure to ask for the green salsa it is the best. It's smooth and creamy with a good amount of heat, but not to much heat that you burn your butt hole. read more

I started out with some Queso which was pretty good and fairly priced. I then followed that with Paradilla fajita which consisted of Shrimp, Chicken, and Steak and of course all the fixings. The corn tortillas were my favorite over the flour. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars was the meat was a bit over cooked but the spice and portion were spot on perfect. The rice was fluffy and not over cooked with a nice balanced flavor and the refried beans were pretty decent. The avocados were really fresh and good too. The red salsa was delicious with a bit of heat but not overwhelming and the flavors were fresh and bright. The waitress brought us out green sauce and I am never a fan of the bland blended green sauce - USUALLY - but here - WOW AMAZING GREEN SAUCE. The best I ever had. We wanted Mexican and a place that served hamburger for the kids and this place is next to Winners BBQ (who we love) so thought we try! Well, we were pretty disappointed. Our family of four was not greeted after entering nor told we could sit wherever. They only had one hostess/ waitress at the register. So after a few seconds we sat on our own accord. She came over after a minutes and said "what to drink?" while handing us the menus. Still no greeting and wasn't even a full sentence, huge red flag. The chips and salsa were great but the salsa was only half full in a little container. When I ordered my meal she said it came with tortillas, so asked if any were made in house. Instead of answering she asked, "so flour or corn?" Again, I had to ask, which is made in house. She finally stated, corn. Jeeze...
