As soon as I walked in, I felt welcomed. The ambience was great! The host was attentive and cordial, and our server, Eliseo, was incredible from start to finish. There were so many great choices on the menu that I asked for his recommendations, and he took the time to explain different options, what they came with, and what customers usually enjoyed most. He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to care that I had a great first experience there. I decided to go with the Chorimigas based on his suggestion. I also noticed that Carne Guisada was on the menu and asked how it compared to a competitor's. Without me expecting it, Eliseo brought out a small portion for me to try so I could decide for myself, which really shows how much he goes above and beyond for his guests. I'm so glad he did! The carne guisada was delicious, if not better than the competitor's. The flavor was unique but still classic and comforting. Chef Mina heard my comments about the carne guisada and came out to introduce herself. I turned beet red, it was unexpected but very flattering! (I got a bit emotional as it was a rough morning.) She was incredibly hospitable and asked for my opinion and thoughts on the competitor. It was a brief but meaningful conversation about the dishes, and I truly appreciated her taking the time to connect. Eliseo remained attentive throughout the entire visit, checking in at the right times, making sure everything tasted great, and keeping a friendly, welcoming attitude the whole time. His service truly elevated the entire experience, and I can't thank him enough for going the extra mile. I highly recommend him!!! New favorite spot!! I brought my family here from out of town to try something new. Short wait on a Saturday afternoon but it definitely gets poppin' in here! The inside is so trendy and the servers were very helpful with breaking row the menu. Stopped by today with my sister for the first time. We love chilaquiles so we were excited. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. To begin the service was slow, and it felt like we annoyed to waiters. We shared a plate, but the staff took forever to bring the extra plate. They basically forgot it. So we sat there at least 5-8 minutes waiting. And finally asked the waiter again (they seemed annoyed) and then he admitted that he forgot. We sat there waiting... Then the food. Ugh, we ordered the 620. Went here recently with work colleagues, even though we'd originally intended to go next door to Ng Cafe. It was closed. So, we walked in to this one next door and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is nice with a mom n dad place type of vibe. Immediately, we were greeted by Chef Mina. She was so nice and took great care of our party. The service on the other hand when you called to do your order or you pick up your food it is like you're putting someone out and interrupting their day. The attitude is real sad. Therefore, I chose this last time to order my food online through Uber Eats. It all looked wonderful but my I love you so much had no sauce at all on it so it was just a bowl of really dry nachos for you know $25 plus that I never ate. The space is fairly small so if youre coming near a peak time I wouldn't be surprised if you encounter a wait Id had this spot on my list for a while, chilaquiles feels like one of those dishes Tex Mex places all have the same one option available for, so seeing a place with such a wide variety of options really stood out. Given the volume of options going for the divorciados to try two flavors seemed like a no brainer. I went for the Smokey chipotle and mole and thought they were both great! The Lamar sauce was mild (as described) whereas the 620 was very spice forward for someone like me who doesn't eat much spicy food. It was tolerable but my mouth did tingle a bit! I appreciated that I was able to get my chilaquiles with no dairy (no cotija, Monterey Jack, or sour cream). A sad life without cheese but having places that understand food allergies really helps! Came back after a few years around lunch time. The menu seems to have changed since my last visit. Not in items offered, but the physical menu. It was less descriptive and a bit more confusing than I remember. I ordered the 620 Chilaquillas with over medium eggs as a topper. The good coffee I was given was in a really big mug!! It was very good. The food came and it was absolutely delicious! You get some crunchy and some wet chips in an incredibly good red sauce... the melted cheese on top was fantastic! The portion size was fantastic for the price, could be two servings for most people, but of course I ate it all in one. I got the spice level at 3 just so I could gauge it and it was solid. I could handle 4, but I'd say 3 is good for most people. The meats were fantastic (the steak was a little tough) and the sauce made everything so soft and delicious. The chips weren't too soggy, but soaked up just the right amount. And of course, the Horchata is a must. All in all, this place is a must and I can't recommend it enough. My brothers and I were up north for the MS walk and decided to grab some breakfast. I popped onto YELP and found this amazing place! It's tucked into a busy little shopping center but there is plenty of parking. There are tables along one side of the wall and the kitchen is along the other side. We did not feel crowded at our table. Plenty of room to get in and out. There were a few tables outside as well, but inside is where you want to be. The tables are the half booth/half chairs so choose wisely. We were greeted promptly and brought our drink of choice. My brother wanted a Diet Coke but it's a "Pepsi only" place so he got water instead. (Just fyi) The name of this place says it all...ChilaKILLERS. As we looked at tables next to us we could see that the chilaquiles were a huge portion so we decided to get one for the table and we each ordered a taco. The most popular sauce was the Longhorn so we had to try that. We got 4/5 peppers but it wasn't that hot to us. Granted we are a spicy loving crew so you decide for yourself. We did get habanero salsa for our tacos and that spice level was perfect. The waitstaff was friendly and kept our water glasses full and checked in on us several times. We will definitely be back. I have come to Los Chilakillers a couple of times for lunch now since I work near by. It's always packed (~10-20 min wait) and for a good reason. They have the best chilaquiles I have ever had and I order the Longhorn every time but change up my toppings. I usually get level 3 for spice level and it's the perfect amount of kick without having to constantly reach for water. The portion sizes are so generous that each order of chilaquiles becomes 3 solid meals for me. Despite the short wait, the service here is always excellent. Everyone is super friendly but sometimes the kitchen can be a little slow during peak hours. The music is lively and I love the colorful decor they have up. I had really only tried the restaurant because of the raving Yelp reviews. As I went through the menu, my thoughts were negative just based on everything but the food. But the food!!!! Once I tasted the food, all of those negative thoughts left my mind and I just couldn't stop raving on how delicious the food was. This time around I tried the breakfast tacos. My only complaint is that the tortillas weren't homemade, but other than that, the tacos were pretty good. I just prefer homemade tortillas. There's outdoor seating and indoor seating. The Longhorn is a poblano cream masterpiece loaded with cheese and chips. Be warned, it's heavy so if you have spice tolerance I would definitely get some hot sauce on the side or level 3+ to cut the heft. Refried beans are creamy and smooth with the earthy notes and a cute little roll comes with it to dip in the sauce. That said, a bit pricey for what it is but tastes great! read more

When I got home, I was so hunger that I forgot to take a picture of the full Lamar, but I did get a picture of the perfect bite! They had a warm spice with melty cheese and delicious refried beans. The eggs and avocado were the perfect touch to cut through the heat and add a richness that complimented it. My husband got the torta, which he also said was delicious. Once seated, I ordered a Jamaica (Agua Fresca) to drink and Old 183 Chilaquiles (green sauce with a spinach twist) no egg and sour cream with Shrimp as the protein topping. I asked the server if they had black beans and he said he didn't think so. I asked him to check because I'd prefer them instead of Refried beans. He said he would check. Waited for my food about 15 min and upon arrival there were black beans, yes! However, there wasn't any shrimp on top. They were going to bring the shrimp on the side but I opted to eat it as is.
