    Chips and salsa!

First time here and had an amazing experience. We were seated quickly at the bar so we could have couple cocktails. The bar has soft fun music playing in the background. The bar is fancy and the bartenders know how to create anything. Loved our drinks. When you sit the chips and salsa are a great free touch!!! We will definitely come back and try dinner next time.

Great dinner spot for groups on East 6th. The Verduras tacos are vegan as-is, and very good! The drinks are just okay, but the overall vibe is lively.

Every time we go down to ATX we make it a priority to stop by at Licha's and it never disappoints! The service, food, and ambiance are unbeatable. While Tex-Mex is often confused for true Mexican food, there is no comparison at Licha's! Pulpo con chorizo and the sweet potatoes with goat cheese are delicious authentic dishes. My husband and I brought two other people; my sister, a picky eater was surprised by how much she enjoyed every dish we ordered.

Such a fun, lively spot! I had the Calabacitas quesadillas ( cheesy, fresh, and full of flavor) and paired them with the Chulipin mezcal cocktail, which was smoky, citrusy, and dangerously easy to drink. The patio was buzzing, the music set the mood, and the staff were super friendly.

Chips and Hot Sauces - sauces were hot. Chips tasted like they came from a bag. Best Queso Fundido - it was great. Chorizo was tasty. Patio was popping. Tacos Alambre was a mix bag. Flavor as really good, but meat was over cooked and gristly. The soft corn tortillas and pico de gallo salvaged it.

Yummy Oaxacan Food with seemingly handmade masa items. The complimentary chips and dip are incredibly unique and delicious. They resemble creamy, spicy salsa aioli dips. Try it--you won't regret it! :) The chicken mole huarache ($15) was both filling and flavorful. The interior is adorned with lots of biblical decor, which is quite interesting. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. Service was prompt! :)

Overall love the Austin outdoor vibe !! As a Denver Native I am biased because we do have some of the best Mexican food (if you don't believe me come out and taste for yourself). Anywho! The meat was tender and flavored well, however there weren't enough tortillas. Our waiter was amazing and accommodated me with my entree. My advice would be to come and try for yourself and support this business as it seems to be a staple in the area!

The happy hour is so damn good!! 4-7 during the week and drinks and apps are $8! We ordered the Paloma and the Lupita - both delicious but ultimately the Lupita was the favorite - the watermelon tequila is amazing!! We also ordered the cochinita pibil sopecitos, the pastor quesadilla, and the chicken mole huaraches. Our favorites were the quesadilla and the chicken mole huarache - incredible both of them!! We absolutely loved them and had a great time for happy hour. Service was great and food came out quickly, we ate and drank and left in less than an hour! The indoor is very cute - but bring a coat in the winter bc it doesn't seem like their heat was working when we visited and it was a very cold day.

Service was good, the ceviche was the best I've ever had... We also had the Birria tacos and the Caesar... Everything was good... The only thing was the small plates of the grilled octopus... It was giving more potato than it was octopus... Pretty pricey small plate for it to be underwhelming but it's a great location. It's a great outdoor seating area and attentive service... My girlfriend say it's the best margarita as well.

This spot is good, not great! Love the margs and the general vibe-- good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Salsas and queso fundido are good. Main course was okay-- a bit blander than I'd expect. The masa is really filling, though the portion looks small. I'd come back for happy hour, but maybe not for dinner again.

    Do they allow dogs?

I believe so; on the outside patio.

Are dogs allowed on their patio?

    Yes! I've taken mine before

Do they have any kid-friendly items on the menu?

I really think this menu is pretty upscale and non traditional so there is no real "bottom of the menu" or kids section unless the kids like what is on the menu or are used to eating a variety of Mexican foods.

The bartender claimed I was drunk and cut me off anyway. I was at the bar talking to a girl while waiting to get a drink (the wait was long because the service is very slow, despite the bar not being very busy at all). She was clearly into me, and the bartender kept jumping in trying to talk to her too (instead of doing his job making drinks). He was doing all sorts of things to try and flirt with her and make her laugh: pulling out and showing her buckets of pre mixed cocktails, running and sliding under the bar, etc. She was engaging with both of us , and right in the middle of that, I get cut off out of nowhere. No explanation other than claiming I looked drunk, which I very clearly wasn't. It felt very clear what was going on--he wanted me out of the way. I left and asked the bouncer on my way out if I seemed drunk. This was literally two minutes later. He said no, not at all, and asked me why I would even ask that. I then told him exactly what happened and asked him to let the owner or whoever was in charge know about this extremely unprofessional conduct so they can discipline the bartender. His response was that the bartender has discretion to cut anyone off, and let me know the bartender is supposedly married so he couldn't have been flirting with any of the customers. Well, sounds like his logic is flawed--not only COULD he flirt with his customers, he WAS, and was therefore cheating. I hope his wife finds out. This is perfectly representative of Austin customer service lately and not normal in other places. I was in Tampa for an entire month earlier this year and this would've been unthinkable there. I'm not coming back.

If you're coming here definitely do yourself the favor and Uber as parking is incredibly difficult to find there. Getting in is very quick and efficient and once you're in you're greeted by live music and a fun open space to get drinks and hang out with friends. There are multiple different places to get drinks from which is nice as you can choose how long you would like to wait in a line. Drinks are not unreasonably priced and they were good as well. The ability to sit throughout the area, get up and dance, or just listen to music makes this a great spot to stay entertained for a while. We came when there was an event being put on by Zyn where they were giving out free drinks to nicotine users which was funny because why not get you hooked on nicotine AND alcohol. But seriously, there are typically food trucks and more things going on here but the Zyn trucks took up those spots which was a bit of a letdown but we're assuming that's just a one off event. Between a good band, decent drinks, and a good amount of seating options, this is a good spot to sit down with some friends and just vibe out for the night. We'd give it a recommendation if you're looking for something fun but not too much fun on a night on East 6th.

The service was great, albeit there wasn't a big crowd. Everything came out quick and the staff were super attentive. The music was fun and vibes were great! I got to say that some happy hour prices were totally reasonable. Not boozy libations... but ok. However, $17 for a small cocktail? Joking right? Prices were from $5-$17 for everything from draught, premixed, and mixed but I feel like for that price point you are competing with bars that can be more creative with their drinks for a few bucks more. Is it worth a go? Sure! Recommend. Looking for basic cocktails at a reasonable price point- maybe. However they do focus on Mescal themed drinks if that's your thing so it's a bit of a niche. Comparing this place to legends like Roosevelt room isn't fair- but at least RR are heavy pourers! I left far from boozy which was fine for a weekday. IMO- Charge less for cocktails on happy hour. But I understand the $$$ for the location is extreme but I don't feel these are happy hour prices for drinks. Food- absolutely.

Our group of 10 came prepared to enjoy the tasting menu, celebrate the bride-to-be, and spend money on a special occasion. Instead, from the moment we sat down, we felt rushed through the entire experience. When we asked about adding items to our tasting menu, we were told in a passive-aggressive way that any additions would be an extra charge. We completely understand that additional menu items cost more--that isn't the issue. The issue was how it was communicated. It came across as though there was an assumption that we couldn't afford to pay for anything extra, which was both uncomfortable and insulting. Things only became worse when the check arrived. We were repeatedly asked whether we needed help with the bill, despite giving no indication that we were confused or unable to pay. After spending well over $1,000 on dinner, these repeated comments made us feel like our ability to pay was being questioned rather than simply allowing us to finish our evening. We felt rushed out instead of appreciated as guests. What was most disappointing was the manager's response when we called afterward to discuss our concerns. Rather than listening or showing empathy, he was rude, dismissive, and spoke to one of the women in our party in a very unprofessional manner. There was no apology, no accountability, and no attempt whatsoever to resolve the situation. I also can't ignore that our table consisted predominantly of Black women--7 of the 10 guests--and the passive-aggressive treatment we received left several of us feeling as though we were being treated differently because of that. I cannot say with certainty that this was the reason, but it is how the experience made us feel, and that feeling alone is incredibly disappointing. To give the restaurant another opportunity to address our concerns, we also sent a detailed email outlining our experience and providing constructive feedback. Unfortunately, we never received a response or even an acknowledgment. The complete lack of follow-up only reinforced the feeling that customer concerns are not taken seriously. Fine dining is about more than exceptional food--it's about hospitality. Unfortunately, the service and management fell far short of the standard that should accompany a restaurant at this price point. We left feeling disrespected instead of celebrated, and what should have been one of the highlights of a bride-to-be's weekend became the most disappointing part of it. Sadly, we won't be returning, nor would we recommend Casa Bianca for anyone celebrating a special occasion.
