First the inside is so nice and I love how this restaurant is set up vs. the others. Second the staff was so welcoming and the service was excellent! The food though, omg! It was PERFECTION! I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich in dang Hot and it was full of flavor and topped with extra goodness with ranch, bacon, slaw and pickles. It has the perfect amount of heat. My son ate his beans and mine. My daughter who is one loved the plain chicken and the heavenly eggs. My husband always gets the hottest and his entire plate was cleaned! I was really excited to see Tumble 22 open here in Pflugerville. The chicken is good, and the sides are yummy. The broccoli salad was my favorite, I could eat a whole container of that by myself. If you go, you have to try it. We did takeout, so I can't say much about the inside or service, but our food was ready quick and still hot when we got home. It included queso, bacon, pickles, Frenchy fries, chicken (ofc) on a potato bun. Fairly decent given the occasion. Ths Sandwich also came with a cookie . There weren't too many people dining in. Service was very very good. Server was very attentive and knew the menu fairly well. We ordered the painless heat level 420 sandwich w/fries side, kids meal (tender w/fries side) and the hot heat level 3 boneless thigh meal w/coleslaw for the side. Waited for the opening to die down to check out Tumble 22 in Pflugerville. I have been to the Round Rock & Cedar Park locations. Very spacious and upbeat location as you walk in. Very well stocked bar with open seating. Menu has changed a bit, but who doesn't like fried chicken. Noticed that they added Korean spiced fried chicken (which I'll try next time). My husband ordered the full size Cobb Salad with chicken (with a kick) . I ordered the 1/4 white with fries. Very well proportioned sized fried chicken that came with pickles (I'm going ask for more, because they were so good.) Well seasoned and great flavor! Shopping across the way and happen to come across Tumble 22 for lunchie, we were warmly welcomed by the host, sat and our waitress had came right away! A sweetheart, she greatly took our drink order and because I had questions and was my first time at the establishment, she was nice enough to explain the menu, the levels of heat and what she strongly recommended (thank you!!). I had the two piece tenders with the third level of heat and collard greens. By the time the food came in which was fairly quick given that it was also lunch time for close by businesses, boy this place has everything locked in - from the staff, how quick they are, and very friendly. The food tho was perfect. The tenders were not as thickly breaded and the heat level was spot on. The flavor - PERFECT. The collars greens was delicious as well. We've been to their Burnet Road location and now we thought we'd try out their newest location. Their menu is pretty easy to understand and they have a well stocked bar with a good craft beer selection. The wait staff seem friendly and well trained. Half the seating in the place is bench and the other half is barstool, including a dozen seats at the bar. I like the fact that they have extra napkins on the table, because you're gonna need them. When it comes to ordering your spice level of chicken, be careful. I got the second spice level on my half chicken and I was glad I ordered the coleslaw to cool things down. Anything past the third level is just torture. I don't really recommend the fries since they are your average starch sticks in need of ketchup. Be sure to save room for their delicious pies or a shake ( even an alcoholic shake). Those of you who are fans of Hattie B's, you'll be quite happy with this place as well. I've been to multiple Tumble 22 locations (Houston, Lake Austin, and Burnet Road), this location is newer and looks very nice inside. The place was packed with customers coming in and out. My server (Summer) was so nice and she checked up on me here and there, she has really good customer service! I ordered the Szechuan Fries with Dang Hot spice, and it came out in like 2 minutes. The fries were hot and crispy, but the chicken was cold. It wasn't spicy either and I wished they give out more chicken. For the uninitiated, tumble 22 is a chicken centric restaurant. They offer sandwiches, wing, tenders, boneless and bone and chicken with various sauces. I ordered boneless thighs with Korean sauce and fries. The fries were not fresh and we're forgettable, but the chicken was pretty good although messy because of the sauce. The flavors were good. Great to have one of my favorites here in Pflugerville. Allow me to tell you how delicious the food is. Chicken wings always hit the spot with me. I have done the all the heat, except the reaper one. The Mac and cheese and the greens are to die for. Great beer selection and full bar. Not much more to ask for. Clean and decorated, small area outside to sit. Matt was our server and boy was he amazing and so engaged with us. I really appreciated him. Introduced him self at the get go. This was the best Tumble 22 experience we've had in Austin in terms of the food quality and service. We dined-in as one of their first customers of this location, it did not seem like it was their first day of service at all. The food came out quick and hot, the quality of the ingredients stood out in each dish, and the staff was beyond friendly to us. The food menu prices are affordable, the drinks are well priced, and their is something for everyone on the menu. The interior design is warm and welcoming, we plan to come in more often for a drink and appetizer at the bar. The Szechuan Fries are 10/10. One final side-note, I think the spice levels could be amped up a level or two for their hottest flavors. The spicy dry rubs are often less painful to their saucy counterparts so I think the heat could be added with a heavy hand. Went here with a friend for lunch during the grand opening time frame and I had no idea that this was more of a fast casual sit-down place. I thought it was just fast food so the portions are huge and the sandwich was delicious. I was only able to eat half and it was fairly spicy for my liking but my stomach is not used to spice anymore. Was excited to finally try Tumble 22 for the first time and even more excited to have one in our neighborhood! As it's Round Rock location always looks busy when I drive by. We opted for take out, on a Sunday afternoon to avoid the weekend dine in crowds. Take Out parking wasn't bad, but spaces were limited. We ordered our food online and came a little after the expected pick up time, but still had about a 14 minute delay. Once we received our food, we noticed some items were missing, which pushed our takeout order back an additional 5-7 minutes. The take out staff was not very friendly , and never apologized for our incomplete order or the delay. However a very nice server checked on us and asked if there was anything they could do. He checked it out and we eventually received our food. Once we made it home, things didn't get much better. As expected the food was room temperature, which wasn't the worst part. The greens I purchased were not good at all, and appeared to be half eaten (pics posted) or very poor portion. My chicken was soggy from the wet pickles threw in the box and the chicken sandwich coating lacked consistency. I tried my daughter's salad and fries, which were really good. But the chicken unfortunately was not the hero! Overall experience sadly just wasn't that good. We went here on Friday. The place was busy but we were seated immediately. The dim lighting gives a cozy warm inviting feel. Our server, Edgar, was very sweet, funny, and able to hold a conversation. Dangerously close to me and dangerously good! We came during opening week and the service was great and everybody had high energy. There are a lot of high top tables which just aren't as comfortable, and the noise level was pretty high, but of course the place was packed. The batter on the chicken is consistently delicious. The OG sandwiches are massive and packed with flavor! They have a smaller version and even a plant-based version. Their sides are really yummy too. The collard greens are some of the best I've ever had. Their southern beans are pretty good too, though aren't as flavorful as you might expect. Mac & cheese is pretty good with a really thick cheese sauce. Deviled eggs are super yummy as an appetizer and their dirty fries are so, so naughty but delicious. read more

We arrived just as "Happy Hour" was underway and we tried: Drinks - Lil Larry & Moscow Mule, small servings, but packed a punch and were enjoyable; Amsterdam Hefeweizen she liked, my Sweet tea was great. Food: we both partook of the bone-in chicken 1/2 mixed with the collard greens & fries (spice dust on mine, queso on hers) and all were outta sight!!! Oh, we also tried heat level #2 and will try #3 on the next visit. The owner's of Tumble 22 have cooks that know how to season the side goodies as the collard greens had a exceptional taste; I drank the juice in the bowl! Only issues that we experienced: fried chicken items, although good, we're greasy and happy hour mixed drinks were small (to our liking). We are certainly going to return to try the other food offerings as our bellies were exceedingly impressed with the initial offerings to the tee! BTW: Spicy Boys chicken offerings tasted a bit more flavorful due to the seasonings they use and with a lot less grease (the reason behind the 4-star review). Happy to have a Tumble 22 in Pflugerville as I'm a big fan of the chain. Consistently good chicken, decent beer/cocktail options, and fairly priced. Conveniently located in the Costco plaza which is easily accessible with lots of parking available. Food quality is on par with other locations, but portion size is lacking on consistency. My chicken thigh was the size of a small wing, but thankfully the other orders at my table received standard size thighs. Another area for improvement is having a proper beer menu with pricing so customers don't have to play the guessing game while ordering. Servers were not familiar with the options so you just have to peak over the bar and choose a tap handle at random. Updated menu and/or more server training would go a long way. Still giving it 4 stars as they are getting caught up to speed. read more

Well, I accidentally showed up during their grand opening and the place was PACKED... people were friendly super talkative and think 4-5 people asked if I had been helped yet (I ordered take out...) now... about the order... clearly there was some sort of mix up... salad for the wife (cause she wanted it lol), some of their deviled eggs which are amazing, a boring chicken sandwich for my son and a super spicy chicken sandwich with coleslaw for me... well, my sandwich came a little more mild than I wanted with no coleslaw... not ideal but was still good... later on in the evening, I asked my son about his "boring" sandwich... "a little hotter than expected, but whatever they had on it helped cut through the heat and it might be my new favorite"... me- "was it coleslaw?!?" Him- is that what that was??? It was good!... so anyway, I'm dumb and gave my son the wrong sandwich and learned that I have better taste than him... but well worth it to introduce my son to a new favorite.
