We've been to their Burnet Road location and now we thought we'd try out their newest location. Their menu is pretty easy to understand and they have a well stocked bar with a good craft beer selection. The wait staff seem friendly and well trained. Half the seating in the place is bench and the other half is barstool, including a dozen seats at the bar. I like the fact that they have extra napkins on the table, because you're gonna need them. When it comes to ordering your spice level of chicken, be careful. I got the second spice level on my half chicken and I was glad I ordered the coleslaw to cool things down. Anything past the third level is just torture. I don't really recommend the fries since they are your average starch sticks in need of ketchup. Be sure to save room for their delicious pies or a shake ( even an alcoholic shake). Those of you who are fans of Hattie B's, you'll be quite happy with this place as well. Check out the informative photos and menus below.

Was excited to finally try Tumble 22 for the first time and even more excited to have one in our neighborhood! As it's Round Rock location always looks busy when I drive by. We opted for take out, on a Sunday afternoon to avoid the weekend dine in crowds. Take Out parking wasn't bad, but spaces were limited. We ordered our food online and came a little after the expected pick up time, but still had about a 14 minute delay. Once we received our food, we noticed some items were missing, which pushed our takeout order back an additional 5-7 minutes. The take out staff was not very friendly , and never apologized for our incomplete order or the delay. However a very nice server checked on us and asked if there was anything they could do. He checked it out and we eventually received our food. Once we made it home, things didn't get much better. As expected the food was room temperature, which wasn't the worst part. The greens I purchased were not good at all, and appeared to be half eaten (pics posted) or very poor portion. My chicken was soggy from the wet pickles threw in the box and the chicken sandwich coating lacked consistency. I tried my daughter's salad and fries, which were really good. But the chicken unfortunately was not the hero! Overall experience sadly just wasn't that good. Hoping it was a one off, since other reviews reflect better experiences so maybe we'll try again on a weekend.

I've been to multiple Tumble 22 locations (Houston, Lake Austin, and Burnet Road), this location is newer and looks very nice inside. The place was packed with customers coming in and out. My server (Summer) was so nice and she checked up on me here and there, she has really good customer service! I ordered the Szechuan Fries with Dang Hot spice, and it came out in like 2 minutes. The fries were hot and crispy, but the chicken was cold. It wasn't spicy either and I wished they give out more chicken. The location on Lake Austin is the best location and they give you so much food for the same price.

Tumble 22 recently opened a new restaurant in Pflugerville next-door to the Costco. Wife and I decided to have lunch there today. We arrived a little after 12 and were promptly seated at a table. For the uninitiated, tumble 22 is a chicken centric restaurant. They offer sandwiches, wing, tenders, boneless and bone and chicken with various sauces. I ordered boneless thighs with Korean sauce and fries. The fries were not fresh and we're forgettable, but the chicken was pretty good although messy because of the sauce. The flavors were good. Service was very good.. They do not offer Shiner beer which is a strike against them. Give them a try.

Great to have one of my favorites here in Pflugerville. Allow me to tell you how delicious the food is. Chicken wings always hit the spot with me. I have done the all the heat, except the reaper one. The Mac and cheese and the greens are to die for. Great beer selection and full bar. Not much more to ask for. Clean and decorated, small area outside to sit. Matt was our server and boy was he amazing and so engaged with us. I really appreciated him. Introduced him self at the get go. Mike is the manager, and makes it a point to engage with patrons as well. All I can say is thank you for making our experience a great one, and hats off to Matt! Sorry for no food shots, I dove in asap!

I ordered the Tupelo hot honey chicken sandwich with a side of mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was a solid 7/10--there's a little kick that I actually enjoyed. The hot honey chicken sandwich, however... I regrettably ordered it painless (aka no spice). While it was still pretty good, it was definitely missing that heat. I mean, why come to Tumble 22 and not get spicy? That one's on me. Pro tip: it's pretty cold inside, so bring a cardigan or light jacket. Oh--and the service always rocks!

OG with jalapenos spice level and Mac n cheese

Went here with a friend for lunch during the grand opening time frame and I had no idea that this was more of a fast casual sit-down place. I thought it was just fast food so the portions are huge and the sandwich was delicious. I was only able to eat half and it was fairly spicy for my liking but my stomach is not used to spice anymore. The fries were delicious and the mac and cheese was also delicious. The service was excellent and I am glad that they opened up this location in this little strip mall which also has Kura revolving sushi bar so they are up and up in this area

Korean style OG

Really good fried chicken and good service. Hubby had the Korean style OG sandwich. You can't change the spicy level in this one and wasn't that spicy. His review is that it was yummy and saucy. I had the 1/4 dark with fries and Mac n cheese. The fries were probably my least fav. Chicken came hot and delicious. Had spicy level hot and felt like it was appropriately rated. To finish off our meal we tried the chocolate cream pie, solid. Buttermilk pie is our next try. I heard the devil eggs are really good! Housemade ranch: SO GOOD

This was the best Tumble 22 experience we've had in Austin in terms of the food quality and service. We dined-in as one of their first customers of this location, it did not seem like it was their first day of service at all. The food came out quick and hot, the quality of the ingredients stood out in each dish, and the staff was beyond friendly to us. The food menu prices are affordable, the drinks are well priced, and their is something for everyone on the menu. The interior design is warm and welcoming, we plan to come in more often for a drink and appetizer at the bar. The Szechuan Fries are 10/10. One final side-note, I think the spice levels could be amped up a level or two for their hottest flavors. The spicy dry rubs are often less painful to their saucy counterparts so I think the heat could be added with a heavy hand. Overall a terrific experience and a great addition to the city of Pflugerville.

Good service and flavorful eats. I got my order to go we enjoyed it. Give it a try for your cheat meal as it isn't the healthiest option, but sometimes it's just an option.

We went here on Friday. The place was busy but we were seated immediately. The dim lighting gives a cozy warm inviting feel. Our server, Edgar, was very sweet, funny, and able to hold a conversation. We got the dirty fries as an appetiser and it only took three minutes for it to come to our table. The nuggets and two piece chicken came out shortly afterwards. All the food was delicious and flavourful! I will definitely come back here in the future!!

Dangerously close to me and dangerously good! We came during opening week and the service was great and everybody had high energy. There are a lot of high top tables which just aren't as comfortable, and the noise level was pretty high, but of course the place was packed. The batter on the chicken is consistently delicious. The OG sandwiches are massive and packed with flavor! They have a smaller version and even a plant-based version. Their sides are really yummy too. The collard greens are some of the best I've ever had. Their southern beans are pretty good too, though aren't as flavorful as you might expect. Mac & cheese is pretty good with a really thick cheese sauce. Deviled eggs are super yummy as an appetizer and their dirty fries are so, so naughty but delicious.

Unfortunately, I drove all the way from Salado, TX to come to this new establishment. Cora (I believe that was her name) clearly didn't feel like waitressing/ working and neither did the cooks. The chicken sandwich was slimy & the "romaine" salad was filled with iceberg chunks of lettuce. My sister enjoyed her Korean chicken sandwich so 2 stars for that.

TV's all around. Great seating at the bar and drink selections.

This young black girl whose name started with an A helped me (I forgot her name, I apologize). It was my first time there so I was unsure what to get. She provided me with samples of the different chicken salads- which didn't help because they were all delicious! I tried the southern, the classic, and bacon ranch. All sooooo good. I ended up getting the melt on a croissant with the chicken bacon ranch salad. Mac and cheese, chips and an extra scoop on the side. $17. The location is perfect and it is very nice on the inside. Whatever they are paying the workers they should increase it because they were all wonderful and kind. I will definitely be back.

I ordered the Classic Carol and their newest seasonal flavor, the Greek Goddess. I added a side of their broccoli salad as well. The chicken salads were pretty good and packed a TON of flavor. That first bite was surprising and almost overwhelming. I had expected to taste the crunch of the celery in the classic, but couldn't even tell that any was in there. The Greek also did not seem to have the feta flavor that I was hoping for. The broccoli salad is sweet and I prefer savory, so I let somebody else in my family enjoy that side. All in all, the flavor is there and it's a solid option if you're craving some chicken salad.

Took a look at the menu and decided on a few things. Ended up ordering Seafood trio grits , baked beans, fries, boudin egg rolls and we couldn't skip the corn bread and biscuits [you shouldn't either!] The grits were amazing, cooked exactly the way they should have been, flavors were all there. Baked beans are slightly sweet but still savory. I loved every bite! Had pieces of brisket in there if I'm not mistaken. Corn bread and biscuits were AMAZINGGG. Very soft and fluffy I would have ordered 6 of these and take home it I wasn't so full by the time I left . The only thing I didn't really care was the boudin egg rolls. It definitely wasn't as good as all of the other dishes.

We had already looked over the menu beforehand and knew what we wanted. Went for the Springdale (seafood) from the Spuds section, but when we got there, they told us they didn't have seafood that day. Okay... backup plan, we asked for the Alamo, but no sliced brisket either, so can't make that. At that point it's like, why are y'all running a restaurant if key items aren't available? Super annoying. Thankfully it was Wednesday, so they had the $1 wing special. Got a 10 piece, half Honey T and half Spicy BBQ. Keeping with the theme of disappointment, no complimentary dip with a 10 piece wing order, which is kind of wild. That said, the wings were amazing. Crunch was on point, quality was there. I'd definitely come back on a Wednesday just for those. But overall, between the lack of preparedness, the ambiance, the weird hours, and prices that don't match the experience, I probably won't give it another shot unless it's a Wednesday...and we want wings.
