went in on 3/11/26. food was really good and everything was cooked perfectly i got the sampler 2 wings 2 fish and a waffle i wanted to try the waffle i love a good chicken waffle combo but i think next time ill try their sides instead. waffle was delicious but i personally prefer a crispier texture. our server was really nice and answered any questions we had and she checked on us often. the music was a vibe and we enjoyed hearing some 90s R&B we haven't heard in awhile so ambiance 10/10 we will definitely be back ! read more

Sunday dinner without cooking I enjoyed our meal here. We came on a Sunday evening and it wasn't crowded at all. Our waitress was so sweet and made sure to check on us while managing the front register as well. Shout out to her for working double and I loved her hair (lol side note). The chicken and fish were delicious and cooked well. I enjoyed the greens and glad they were made with turkey. I ordered the 3 piece, 2 sides and cornbread. The fried chicken was crispy, well seasoned and very fresh! I also ordered a side of greens which weren't as good as the last time I had them but tasted fine. I also ordered cornbread which was fluffy with a hint of sweetness. I am so angry right now. I ordered via UberEats and paid $1 extra for lemon pepper seasoning. There was no seasoning on the tenders which were also overcooked. The sweet potatoes that they rave about were absolutely nasty because somebody put a bunch of lemon in them. And the cornbread is stale! I actually thought that because it was a holiday (Resurrection Sunday a.k.a. Easter) that the food would be fresh and it wasn't... not to mention no seasoning on the OVERCOOKED tenders. There's so much inconsistency from order to order with this place it's bananas. Who puts lemon so much so it could be a freaking lemonade in sweet potatoes? JUST NASTY! And UberEats is garbage because they refused to refund the money for the lemon pepper seasoning saying that it wasn't a big deal. The atmosphere was a decent vibe.The fried chicken which was bland, candy yams that tasted like the came out of a can with no sauce and you can't for the Mac and Cheese that had 5% chesse and 95% Mac. The Service was decent at first when we came in but after we decided to pack up our food and finish it at home after barely touching the food because it was that bad, the waitress then became rude to us when I asked for the check and to go box's. I got the fried fish with baked mac and cheese for my side and it was really good. The breads on the fish was super crispy! The Mac and cheese was pretty good but it came out and wasn't very hot but still good. The fried pickles here are perfect! Had a good crunch to them without the pickle being limp. I opted for the 2 Piece Tenders with the Honey Hot Sauce. We didn't wait long for our meal, but it was a bit warm in the restaurant which made it a bit uncomfortable on a hot Texas summer day. Once the food arrived, I poured everything on my Chicken&Waffles and took a bite and soaked it the flavor. I enjoyed the mix of savory spicy and sweet, but did feel like maybe I could have done a different sauce or an additional sauce even! I wonder what's the right combo? The waffles perhaps could've been more fluffy and warm and the tenders were just okay! We spent about $37 for myself and my husband, he got the 3 tenders and waffles with the Mac and Cheese side and both of us had a drink so I don't know? I think it might've been on the pricier side. Another observation was that they had plastic cutlery which I was a bit disappointed about.
