I am so angry right now. I ordered via UberEats and paid $1 extra for lemon pepper seasoning. There was no seasoning on the tenders which were also overcooked. The sweet potatoes that they rave about were absolutely nasty because somebody put a bunch of lemon in them. And the cornbread is stale! I actually thought that because it was a holiday (Resurrection Sunday a.k.a. Easter) that the food would be fresh and it wasn't... not to mention no seasoning on the OVERCOOKED tenders. There's so much inconsistency from order to order with this place it's bananas. Who puts lemon so much so it could be a freaking lemonade in sweet potatoes? JUST NASTY! I opted for the 2 Piece Tenders with the Honey Hot Sauce. We didn't wait long for our meal, but it was a bit warm in the restaurant which made it a bit uncomfortable on a hot Texas summer day. Once the food arrived, I poured everything on my Chicken&Waffles and took a bite and soaked it the flavor. I enjoyed the mix of savory spicy and sweet, but did feel like maybe I could have done a different sauce or an additional sauce even! I wonder what's the right combo? The waffles perhaps could've been more fluffy and warm and the tenders were just okay! We spent about $37 for myself and my husband, he got the 3 tenders and waffles with the Mac and Cheese side and both of us had a drink so I don't know? I think it might've been on the pricier side.
