    Half of the 505 burger

This is a food truck that popped up at the pink flamingo food truck park next to the water tank bar & restaurant. We come here a lot and wanted to try it out. This barbecue was unique in a few ways that I enjoyed. The sauce was uniquely flavored and had a good amount of seasoning. It had more depth than a regular "sweet" or "hot" bbq sauce. We also got a brisket sandwich that had great flavor, and some "fiend" elote which is their brisket, queso fresco, and cilantro on top of some boiled corn. That was really tasty and had some creamy sauce at the bottom. The item that stood out the most to me was the smash burger for one reason; it had a crunchy texture throughout the burger. Usually when I order a smash burger, it's one texture, soggy. But good! But this time, it had crunch and it was delicious. For two of us, we finished a smash burger, a 505 burger, a brisket sandwich, and a fiend elote. The items do come a little small so make sure you order a lot.

Absolutely loved this take on BBQ. The flavors were incredible and meat was juicy and tender. The pork ribs and the sausage were my favorite meats. For sides, the street corn awesome and better than I expected. It's not like typical street corn. The potato salad and frito pie were probably second favorite sides. I usually don't like a mustard base potato salad but loved this one. The queso noodles were good just not nearly as impressive or flavorful as everything else. The distillery the truck is at now has a gorgeous outside area to eat, drink and hang out. Lots of tables and room to eat with shade. The pit masters were so friendly and helpful. They even walked our food out to us. Will definitely be back to try some more and will be back for those ribs!!

The brisket and spare ribs were really good, we got a quarter pound of each and it was enough for 2 people. I liked the brisket a little better than the spare ribs just because the ribs were a little too sweet. other than that they were both really tender and juicy. The smoked kimchi was a bit disappointing. I liked the roti, it was cooked well and flaky and crispy. There is free valet parking and they have a cute seating area that's outdoors. The service is really quick and they were nice.

Stopped by Si Baby-Q for my last day in TX. In a world where Monday joints are very few this was an awesome stop. Open 7 days a week even! I stopped by a year ago and they were parked in a different location. I like this new spot under trees. I remember loving the sausage and kimchi here last time but sadly none today. But still enjoyed the other meats. The slices of brisket I got were from the point and probably out of this week the crunchiest brisket bark. The contrast of texture from the melty fat and the tender point was wonderful. The ribs were a little more tender than I like but the sweet glaze on top was wonderful and the pork was still juicy. What I loved the most is the pork belly burnt ends. Sauced up with a sweet chili sauce. Sweet and tangy on top of the fatty pork. I could easily eat these all day. I think it was better than the last time I stopped by a year ago and I've already told my Austin coworkers they need to stop by since the office is only a short drive away.

We just happened upon this food truck after we couldn't find the restaurant we were searching for. That was our good fortune. I can't begin to describe how good our food was. It's probably the best BBQ I've ever had, especially the sweet chili pork belly burnt ends--probably the most delicious food I've ever had. This isn't just hyperbole, I've had about 36 hours to think my experience over. The street corn is also indescribably delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed and service was excellent and friendly. I live about 150 miles from Austin and I'm already planning a trip back just for this food.

AMBIANCE: - This is a food truck next to the main restaurant. They have plenty of outdoor seating. They validate parking at the garage next door. - The prices at the food truck were less expensive than the main restaurant, so a good way to try the flavors! FOOD: - We ordered the brisket sandwich and the pulled lamb shoulder. Both were very rich, tender, and filling. I liked the sandwich better because it had more texture. - We also ordered the esquires chinos. The flavor was okay, but I think it could've been better.

Solid BBQ spot with some standout items. The brisket was definitely the highlight--tender, smoky, and full of flavor. I also enjoyed the smash burger and the fiend elote; both were well-executed and hit the right notes. I tried the 505 burger, which had chorizo and queso--interesting combo, but the queso didn't quite work for me. Still, overall a good experience and worth checking out if you're into BBQ with some creative menu options.

This food was exceptional!! I placed the order online and it was ready extremely quickly. Everything was so flavorful and unique. Their pita was flaky and delicious, truly was incredible to enjoy. They have plenty of picnic tables if you choose to dine there or take it to go. Highly recommend!

Brisket and Ribs. The ribs are truly incredible do not sleep on them

As a proud BBQ glutton I urge you to order the pork ribs. We ordered a couple of things from Zoe Tong and Si Baby-Q and everything was excellent, but the ribs are divine. They cover them in agave overnight and the sweetness is perfect for a hot summer slightly sticky bbq experience. The Indonesian peppercorn and whatever else they're using is an amazing spice pairing. Certainly the brisket is good and earns its place in Austin but my god the ribs are truly special

Pork Spare Ribs, Brisket, Pulled Lamb Shoulder, Sausage Link, Smoked Kimchi, Dan Dan Frito Pie, Queso y Pepe, and Sahil's Aloo

No line and valet parking! Incredible pork spare ribs and pulled lamb. Brisket is on par for Austin BBQ. The sides are killer. We tried the Queso y Pepe, Sahil's Aloo (potato salad), smoked kimchi, and Dan Dan Frito Pie.

They said it would be about 20 minutes for food since they were slammed, but I appreciate knowing it was made to order, so no problems there. Tried the Kaeng Panaeng and it was good overall. Huge portion size but wasn't quite what I was expecting. Salad was pretty standard but I'm glad they kept it separate so it wouldn't wilt from the heat. As for the chicken, I was hoping by itself it would be more thai inspired/marinated/seasoned but it's effectively just chopped up chicken tenders to be dunked in the curry. The curry is flavorful, albeit a bit watery, which I wish was reduced a bit. But if curry is not your thing, my friend's Kai Zabb was very good: tangy, sweet and heat all at once, so good to really switch up bites. And while I wasn't expecting sticky rice, I can't help but say it's the first time I've had thai fried chicken without it. All in all, I think its a great new place to try out, but if you've had thai fried chicken before, just temper your expectations.

My hubby and I drove up the road to Hana, which was treacherous...many one lane areas where only one car can pass and many blind curves. While the hubs and I are still married, next time we will take a helicopter to the waterfalls in Hana. Smile. I ordered the Teriyaki & Shoyu Chicken bowl. The chicken was tender with a deep, smoky char that Pacific Flame Island gets from their black iron grill. The accompanying rice was flavorful and enjoyable to eat.
