Please be advised their prices aren't transparent. There is tape over the prices on the menu so you don't know how much you're paying until you order. I was shocked when my order came up $27 plus change. It was a fried fish/shrimp combo with a cup of Gumbo. I anticipated paying maybe $20 max for lunch. I'd heard this was the best burger in town, and it certainly lives up to the hype. It's pretty no frills; just a really delicious and well-made burger with fresh toppings and ingredients. The crinkle fries were the perfect companion, and the whole meal was tied together with their homemade sweet tea. I also enjoyed the brisket plate, but I felt that the brisket was too thinly sliced and the portion was small. It had good flavor and melted in your mouth, partly because it was sliced so thinly. Service was friendly and quick, but I was confused by the pricing because it's not listed at the truck. I have no idea how much I paid for each item, but I did think it was a little pricey. I'll definitely be back for the burger and am curious to try some of their other items. read more

The burger is hit or miss. It is smokey, well-seasoned, and delicious if you go on the weekend. On other days, it may lack seasoning and your special instructions. The same goes for the fries. I also tried the turkey leg; it was smokey but dried. read more

Giving this place generously 3 stars because the food is so good but service ATTITUDE. If the service was remotely close to the quality of the food, they'd have 5 starts hands down from me. Last 2 times we showed up in person to order, we were told to come back 30-45 min later because they had too many orders ahead of me. Best soul food in Manor! I've had the turkey burgers, fries, chicken wings, shrimp, catfish and chicken dinner with Mac and cheese and yams. Yams are delicious, mac and cheese was yummy, chicken perfectly seasoned and fried, and the banana pudding cup is superb. I would give them 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that the sides are very small in proportion to the protein. read more

Food was overpriced. Website was a misrepresentation of what they had onsite and the prices did not match. Didn't have gravy for the Chicken fried steak. Food was bland, so be prepared to add some some salt. Mac and cheese was decent...the best I've been able to find in this area. We also got chicken wings, which was a disappointment. Don't get Banana pudding. Tasted like banana flavored jello pudding. Had no bananas in it, which was confusing. After reading other reviews, looks like we ordered the wrong thing. My husband and I have passed through Manor a couple of times and seen the D Chuck Wagon. We decided a few days ago that we needed to try it and finally stopped in today. Boy were we pleased!! The Double Cheeseburger was AMAZING. It was cooked once we had ordered - so as fresh as could be! I was out exploring today and I initially was in Ennis but couldn't find a place that I wanted to stop and eat. Decided to check out Manor and saw Chuck Wagon. I ordered a cheeseburger with bacon and it was excellent and big! I was asked if I wanted french fries or onion rings and I'm not really a big french fry person but I like onion rings when done well but in my opinion that's not very often. I asked if their onion rings are good which is a stupid question because of course what else are they going to stay but yes! LOL Anyway I decided to give them a try and I'm glad I did they were excellent. I would definitely stop here again if in the area. Food was good and service was fast and friendly. Oh man, D' Chuck Wagon should be in the food trailer hall of fame! Delicious, fast, high quality and affordable food that tastes like Grandma's cooking. We ordered a cheese burger and a pork chop sandwich, which was on special, and both were so delicious. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. So far, the best burger in Manor and I don't think it will be easy to beat. The pork chop sandwich was seasoned amazingly with just a wee bit of spice/heat. This place is one of my favorite to go spots in manor there always so polite, and there food is spot on!! It's such a cozy place with little lights and a few tables outside to eat. They pay attention to detail I order a plate to go, and was so surprised when I got home that they put napkins, and condiments. On top of all that there food is the bomb dot com! Came here for lunch today and picked up some burgers, fried mushrooms, and fried fish - they were all delicious. The fish was perfectly seasoned, fried crisp, and came with a side of tarter sauce. The burger was just as well seasoned, and came with all the fixings. Noteworthy to also add good safety measures were in place with coronavirus safety concerns. We stopped by D'Chuck Wagon on the way to get our friend's belongings from his old house. This was unexpectedly one of the best burgers that we had ever had! We all had bacon cheeseburgers, a side of fries each as well as sweet tea. Everything that we ordered was delicious! And you get free refills on tea! While we spent a little more than we were expecting to considering it is a good truck in Manor, it was well worth the $35 to feed three hungry adults. And another thing, the portions are large, so one of us even had food to eat later. I highly recommend making a stop at this place. One of my favorites is the Sunday after church specials ; they throw down with a couple fried protein choices, Macaroni and cheese, collard greens, cobbler and a drink or around $12. There are a couple benches to eat there if you'd like, however, it's right next to a busy street. The best food in Manor hands down! Everything is good, but my favorites are the cheeseburger, catfish and shrimp, and the best greens I've ever put in my mouth... and that's saying a lot considering I was raised on them in the Deep South. The lovely couple that runs this food truck makes the experience even that much more enjoyable, as they are local and very down to earth!
