This is a great Waffle House location. Food is always great and service is quick and friendly. One of my favorite locations in the city.

Thank goodness Waffle House is open again at this location! It being closed was like misplacing your favorite walking shoes. Going in is like visiting an old friend's house. Instantly familiar. A greeting at the door. Sit wherever you like. An offer of a cup of coffee. What have you been up to? Would you like something to eat? My only ding is the noise level. Glass all around, a busy grill a few feet away, orders being yelled out (although the code is interesting), and usually at a traffic-heavy location. In recent years we have learned not to get our expectations too high when stopping at Waffle Houses especially in Ohio. Gone are the days when you walk in and are greeted with friendly welcomes. The last 2 visits to WH's we barely got a grunt from our waitresses. We sat at a "clean" table that was disgusting and needed wiped down again. Same dirty rag was used as the first time so it was rather pointless. Had a black light been available to me I would have surely been horrified by the entire joint. And...we were swarmed by flies. Food was fine although we were a bit concerned about how clean the plates were before food was put on them. And,of course, good luck with coffee refills. After 35 years of hitting waffle houses as a tradition while on road trips we are bringing it to an end. The nightmare visits are becoming way too frequent. read more

Waffle house, in general, is pretty hit-or-miss. This one was a hit!!!!! A super friendly blonde server ran right over to wipe down an area so I could sit down. I asked for eggs over easy hash browns with gravy and double bacon extra crispy. The place was packed at midnight on a Friday night, and I received exactly what I requested. Everything was incredibly delicious. The server refilled my beverage and brought me a box for my leftover bacon - I didn't even have to ask!! Ohhhh, and the cook asked if my food was good. Walked in & it was dirty & the employees weren't courteous at all, waited over thirty minutes before was even asked to order and the waitress walked by several times trying very hard not to give any eye contact, not one apology and was rude when taking the order. Usually when we come this late at night the crew working here has it together. This crew obviously didn't. read more

Waffle House doesn't have the best food, but it is open when everything else is closed. It's a three star restaurant, but earns am extra star for being open when everyone else is closed. There are some better choices on the menu, like the CHEESE GRITS and the BACON EGG AND CHEESE BISCUIT. The waffles are passable, but they are of the same quality as the free breakfast waffles you can get at a mid range hotel. The HASHBROWN BOWLS are worth a try, too. Keep your expectations low and you'll be fine. The service, though, is top notch hometown friendly, with lots of 'sweethearts' and honeys' to make you feel at home. read more

Love the brightness inside from the renovations. First time back since they reopened. Restrooms look soooooo much better and cleaner now. Great meal and friendly staff. Only complaint is the music is too loud and the waitress did not hear 2 of my boyfriend's requests when he ordered. We will be back since they are now reopened and hopefully they turn down the music. read more

We pulled off the freeway just to come here. We fit our Bobtail in the parking lot by dumpster. Nice and clean inside wait staff friendly and engaging! We had two pork chop breakfast: Mine, 2 chops, grits, grilled Texas toast. Bf: 3chops, smothered n covered hash browns, with also grilled Texas toast. This was my first time have the Texas Toast grilled and I loved it!! Wow yummy. Lots of juicy butter and the jam nice n sweet. My grits had lots of butter too nummy... thank guys!! read more

We went to this Waffle House last night and had the worst experience ever at the chain. Service was horrible, dirty tables and rude employees. We waited over 10 minutes to just order our drinks and the servers were just standing around chatting. Our food took forever and we will definitely not return to this location ever again. read more

Very poor customer service. Bacon cook too hard, grits had lumps and water. I had to go back in the restaurant to ask for my orange juice I had order along with my meal. When I asked for my grits and bacon to be cook over she replied this all the grits we have. So I politely ask for a refund of my entire meal which was 30 bucks of food. read more

I pulled up and seen a worker standing outside , he looked like he was going to say something but didn't. He closed the door and locked it and did not tell me they were closing , I walked up and had to find out for myself . I can see the lights are on and there are 6 customers in the restaurant that are currently getting served . Some of the customers are kissing all on each other and the workers are talking and serving them. There's a guy with a dog in there! This seems like more of a hangout for the workers than anything. I've come to this Waffle House a few times and atleast the other workers would tell me that they were closed or short staffed. I'm very disappointed in the establishment, very poor communication and lack of leadership shown. I just got off work and all I wanted was a waffle. Early Saturday morning myself and my friend went to eat here since we hadn't had dinner. We sat there for at least ten minutes before anyone said hello. We order drinks and food at same time and it took almost to the time the food came out to get coffee and two waters. Customers that came in after is got their food before we even got water. This was the first place where I have been ignored as a customer at a Waffle House. Then my friend found hair on their plate with food on it. Just terrible service all around. read more

As far Waffle Houses go this one is a great location! I walked in and noticed the cleanliness of the location was pretty great compared to some Waffle Houses I have been to in my life, and that was refreshing to see. Then we we sat down and we were waited on fairly quickly by a very nice server. She was friendly and accommodating of whatever we asked for, and had a very cheerful demeanor as well. We were there at about 12:30am on this past Saturday which it was not that busy, but it was a little early for the busy late hours of Waffle Houses. Now to the food (which is why most people are here). It was very fresh and tasted great. I have had some Waffle Houses that you can tell the grits were old and crusty, but this was very fresh grits and they were great! Now I ordered the Hasbrowns with everything except Jalapeño and the Gravy. They came and they fit the bill of good Waffle House hash browns and tasted awesome. It was that familiar Waffle House flavor I grew to love when I lived in GA for a year there. All in all from my experience this was a great location and great food from Waffle House. If I am ever back in the Columbus area again. I would definitely swing back around to this location! read more

I've been here twice. I don't know the staff as well as at the Delaware location on 36/37 just off of 71, but it's a nice place. Good food, CHEAP, and lovely staff. Love pretty much everything on the menu. read more

My two experiences: Monday morning experience - 1 STAR Saturday morning experience - 4 STARS I've only eaten at one other Waffle House & that was while on a family visit to Missouri. The good thing about THIS Waffle House was that it's non-smoking (unlike the one in Missouri)! I actually had 2 breakfast experiences at this location while driving thru last week. Both times I ordered the egg & cheese melt with bacon. On Monday I decided to get that with the grits. Not a good choice. It was swimming in butter. I don't mind some butter but this was just WAY too much! I took about 2 bites & that was it! Yuck! Also, the bacon tasted a little off... Not only that but this was on a Monday morning so the place was pretty empty & the waitress must've been fairly new to the job ( I hope) because she appeared to be lost or in a daze or I don't know what! I was quietly comparing her to a "Walker" from The Walking Dead in my mind. Kinda zombielike.She was nice & all, I think... (not much of a personality really) but... just NO! Not feelin' it. Maybe try another line of work honey!! Saturday morning was much better all around. We obviously had a more seasoned (& faster) waitress (WITH a personality)! The place was pretty busy & we did have to wait a little while for the food to arrive but overall, tasty breakfast - this time I tried the hash brown (much better choice) & great, friendly service! - Oh, I spotted the zombie waitress behind the counter & was grateful we dodged that bullet this time around... Okay let me preface this by saying we did not have high expectations for a Waffle House, but this location even fell below those. We were a group of 4 out of maybe 7 patrons, and 3/4 of our order was incorrect. Our server was not unkind, but it was more than clear that she was just here to get a paycheck. I am a truck driver, go all over, and "usually" count on Waffle Houses for a good meal. Today's food was well prepared, and did not dissappoint. Setvice was quick, courteous, and friendly. BUT, the place is filthy. Really filthy. It looked as though it had not been cleaned in weeks!!! I am surprised the Health Dept. passes this place. The employees seem oblivious to the fact.
