Food Service Seemed low staffed when I first had lunch with my daughter & father in law. Waited a while to be seated as well as it took time for us to order and actually be served. Regardless the food was great from the French toast, to the omelet and fresh fruit. Seemed like the supervisor or manager was our server. He interacted with my daughter and would pick up every crayon she would drop. He was nice and was staying busy.

Can never go wrong with Scramblers! While visiting family I was excited to come back to a favorite when I lived in the area. I'm pleased to report the food was just as good, if not better, than before! We arrived for brunch on a Wednesday afternoon. We were immediately greeted, seated and able to order. I chose the Zesty Smokehouse sandwich and coffee. Our food was brought out so quickly we thought that they were delivering to the wrong table. Great service, reasonable prices, still a classic in the area.

Great food, GREAT service. I hope I get the name right, Diaka was our server, lovely young lady (probably the best part of our visit) We both had a standard breakfast, mine was called uncle Moose skillet-fantastic. Highly recommend!

The ultimate omlete has every kind of breakfast protein, shrooms, jack and cheddar. Home fries, sour dough toast.

What's better after a fasted physical 10am in the morning than the ultimate omelette, home fries, and toast from Scramblers? What is worse for a low sodium diet than the ultimate omelette, home fries, and toast from Scramblers? Decisions, decisions. What did I order? The ultimate omelette, home fries, and toast of course. The ultimate is one of the best omelets of Columbus chain breakfast. Made skillfully in a tight folded blanket of non-pasteurized eggs this skillet concocted item cuts into nice size bites by fork with zero runniness. The works, everything and the kitchen sink, and the kitchen it sat in: savory sausage, flavorful ham, tasty bacon, fresh bell peppers, zesty zucchini, onions, mushrooms, diced tomatoes, a combo cheese shot of Monterey Jack and Cheddar topped with sour cream. Add a side f home fries and sour dough toast with the world's most needed coffee ( for me that day since I was coming off the physical) and it was like a great dream of breakfast. The only downside, (for me on a restricted due to Menieres outbreak) is the salt content. 2048 mg of sodium is 48mg more than the two grams I'm limited for an entire day. Whoops. Oh well, what is rules for if you don't break them? Everything else about this shop met my expectation. Standard Scramblers mainstream fare, great service, nice place. They could se a bar in the place for single customers; I felt kinda weird sitting in a table solo. Also the door into the kitchen lack an eye for naturalness and connectivity. But I am nitpicking. Going to give four stars but it could easily be five in the mainstream breakfast chain category.

Great service - our waitress was very helpful to recommend. Food preparation was a little slow but the wait was worth it. With drinks and coffee total bill came up to a little under $30, but we got the energy for the whole day.

Went here for the first time today. Was disappointed that they do not cater to dietary needs the way that most restaurants do. I cannot eat bread, nor sugar due to a medical condition, so I had kindly asked if I could substitute my sides/bread for a small side of breakfast meat. They would not let me substitute my bread and side for two sausage links like most breakfast places do. I was willing to pay an up charge for the exchange but then the waitress told me that it would be an additional $5, and I had to order 4 links. So instead, I paid $11 for just an omelet. For this, I was going to leave a 3 star review, because I do think they should be able to cater to dietary needs better. Well, that quickly went to a 1 star when my boyfriend and I were chatting and he found a hair in his pancake. Don't go here if you have any dietary needs or don't want hair in your food!

The cook had her mask off the entire time she was cooking. Did not stay for a meal as a result.

I visited for breakfast/brunch in late December 2025 with a college friend and her son. The restaurant was busy when we arrived so we had to wait for about 10 mins for a table. We received our food in about 20 mins after they were ordered. The waiter brought us glasses of water and I may have ordered orange juice too. I ordered the pancakes with scrambled eggs and bacon. The pancakes were topped with some butter and ai added syrup too. They tasted fluffy and delicious. The scrambled eggs and bacon were well cooked and tasted good. My friend's son ordered a breakfast sandwich and my friend ordered the eggs benedict. They seemed to both like what they got. Overall, I enjoyed my food and customer service was pleasant. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 52/250 total reviews in 2026 - 893 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 26 April 2026

I think having a call reservation system could help, but they probably could also have some outdoor seating when the weather is nice. We walked…read morein around 10:15am and I was concerned we may be too late to get a good selection bc I've read plenty of reviews saying they sell out daily and to get there early. It's a small shop by a gas station. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and they were ready to take our order before we were ready to give it. I asked about a couple of the varieties in the display counter and those answers helped me make my selections. We ended up with 6 different varieties. A maple cream stick, donut stick, apple fritter, raspberry jelly filled, a buckeye donut (for my hubby) and a chocolate espresso donut (for me). The price was quite reasonable and the people working were very friendly. I also ended up getting a bag of coffee beans after talking with our server and getting her recommendations. She even gave me a sample of one of them they had brewed. We paid for our items and headed out. Several people came while we were there. In fact our friends missed getting to try the espresso donut because someone's that jumped in between us bought the last of them. After trying it when we got to our car I can see why! DELICIOUS!! Would go back for it alone. My husband didn't even wait until we got to the car to try his Buckeye donut and he loved it. Their apple fritter was better than one I bought earlier that morning from a bakery. I didn't think the raspberry jelly filled had nearly enough filling. It easily needed tripled. I say that as someone who worked for three years in a bakery and filled donuts. All in all this was a great stop and if we're in the area again we would definitely drop by to see what's being served.

Firstly, the quality of the food was exceptional, which is fundamentally what a diner should deliver. We ordered a DK glazed donut, which met expectations, and I chose the Meat & Cheese omelet, which was comparable to other diner offerings. My husband ordered a skillet dish, which he reported as satisfactory. Although visually unremarkable, the taste was commendable. However, the service was disappointing and almost non-existent. During a busy period, there was no hostess apparent, forcing us to inquire at the cashier area about seating. They took our contact information, and shortly afterward, our table was ready. We were seated and provided menus, but the wait for a server to take our order was excessively long. It was indicated that coffee was self-serve and that customers should select their own mug. Subsequently, we observed no further service at our table, and the food was delivered by staff members elsewhere. I had to locate condiments independently. After finishing our meal, we returned to the cashier to settle our bill, which was not presented to us. The seating area within the diner is small, which is expected given the establishment's size. One additional concern is parking: the lot accommodates approximately seven vehicles, and street parking in Grandview Heights is limited. This constrains accessibility and could diminish visitors' overall experience in the area. It is hoped that in the future, the service at this establishment will align with the high quality of its cuisine.
