My husband and I sort of stumbled into this place as we were from out of town and didn't really know where to go. I was a little skeptical at first because there weren't any reviews, but I'm glad we did! The hostesses weren't as attentive as I would hope, but that's really my only negative. After we were seated, I commented on the bright colors, awesome canvas prints, and timeliness in which our waiter got to us! The coffee was absolutely delicious as were our meals...once we finally decided on something! There was a lot to choose from! I also really appreciated that there were outlets at every single table! That's something that is truly tough to find and something I think really adds to a restaurants value because if you have to be "plugged in" while eating...you have that option available to you! Great food, I had the stuffed french toast, regular french toast and the waffle. Why did I get all three because it's bottomless!! I think the stuffed french toast could had been better only because they did not have all the options the strawberry would had been great if they had it. The regular french toast was good and I like how they give you a orange slice, it's the simple things. Good costumer service, and they give you a "scrabbler buck" to have you come back. Scrambler Marie's has been my breakfast restaurant of choice for over a year. The menu is expansive but customizable. I love that some options offer 'small' and 'large' plates. The service is always fantastic, the food is always hot and delicious, and it is reasonable priced. Sometimes they run promotions or give out coupons. My husband is a fan of the endless French toast while I love the omelets and scramblers. Plenty of low-carb and low-cal options as well. read more

Stay away today... waitress told us they are down 4 servers. Decided to stick it out. 20 minute wait for a table. 10 minutes just to get drinks:(. I normally like the food but very frustrated with the lack of efficiency. Didn't see much sense of urgency from the staff that was working. Not our servers fault, it is on the manager. Update: impressed with our waitress despite the adversity. Made sure our order was put in before a large party and comped drinks because of delay without us complaining or asking. Nice alternative for breakfast. The menu includes all the standard items and a few lunch options. I chose the French toast which was ok. I would have preferred a little more batter, but loved the fact I could get it with fresh strawberries. Hubby got a scramble which he enjoyed. Nice wait staff and really quick service. Would go back and try some other options. Update- Returned with a party of six, including two toddlers for Fathers Day. Although they were extremely busy, service was quick and friendly. We ordered a variety of breakfast and lunch dishes all of which came quickly and were delicious. Upgraded from for to five stars. We will be back soon! read more

We love our weekends out for breakfast and scrambler marie's used to be one of our favorites but not anymore. Service is lackluster, food is either cold, not cooked or over cooked. The staff doesnt return to check on you or see if anything is needed yet they dont hesitate to give your check. read more

This place is absolutely all over the place. They seem to be understaffed to say the least, our waitress had to take care of half of the restaurant. It took 35minutes to get coffee and orange juice. Food took 45mins, and we had to wait to eat before we got utensil. I personally, never even received my food, we paid our bill and left after the 1.5hour mark. read more

We went there for breakfast this morning to try the newer location. After a 20 minute wait (which was fine) we were seated at a corner table at noon, with the server asking for our drink order. At 12:15, no drinks, no server. At 12:18, we left and the server that asked for our drink order told us to have a nice day. It wasn't even terrible service; no service at all. Inviting atmosphere, very friendly staff. Extremely afforable options, and everything we tried was delicious. Omelettes, eggs, pancakes. Avocado omelette was totally stellar. I visited Scrambler Marie's with my family a little while ago. Great food, great service- but what really blew me away was our hostess. I believe her name was Emma, but I can't be too sure, as they don't wear nametags. She was AMAZING. It was a Sunday, so there was a wait for a table. She had the foresight to bring our son a kids menu and crayons while we waited, which kept him occupied. Once we were seated, she did everything she could to make sure we were satisfied. She even entertained my son by talking to him while she was cleaning tables. He's normally shy, but she just has that likable quality about her. She made our experience truly special, and thanks to her we will visit this location again and again. read more

At least half of the restaurant was open and there was a wait. That was kind of peculiar. The food was fine, but I barely remember who my actual server was, because I only saw her at the beginning and end of our meal. Another server (I think her name was Laura) helped my family when we needed it since our server was MIA. We had a decent conversation about books and college, (I asked if she went to OSU or C State, she's still in high school!), she seemed mature for her age. I watched the restaurant dynamic and noticed the some of the older servers were asking Laura for help. She's smart and good at her job. Props to her. Gives me hope for the next generation of adults. Pretty delicious place! me and my family recently went and we enjoyed it a ton. The pancakes are huge and have a corn taste to them which is good. We will definitely be coming back! everything is great, also I had the awesome avocado omelette, which if you like avocado you will enjoy. Service at the Hiliard location exceeds the service at the Powell location. We ate here about a month ago for a change and will revert to Bob Evans, as BE does breakfast in an "A" manner. My wife and I ate here on a Monday morning at 9am'ish. We were seated quickly and taken good care of by the wait staff. The place looked clean and well organized. The food was priced well for the amount you get compared to a Bob Evans or other chain but I thought that the quality was way better compared to those same chains. Ordered the Hash and Eggs with sourdough and the small Westgate skillet with a biscuit. I could have bought the same hash at the grocery store for less than I paid here. It probably would have tasted better too. Had my eggs over medium, they were cooked all the way through. Husband's skillet was very watery. Basted egg was cooked through. Basted eggs are supposed to be runny. And the biscuit was rubbery. Not flakey. Gross. Service was ok and the sourdough toast was acceptable. read more

Our family has frequented the Scramblers on Britton Parkway 5X in the last 3 weeks and we have begun to realize that service can be good or REALLY bad depending on who you receive as your server. When we are seated we expect to have a server get our drink order in under 5 minutes instead of the 20 minutes it has taken at least 3 of the 5 times we've been there. I actually had to get up one time and ask if we even had a server! It seems the servers in the darker colored shirts are THE BEST! The food overall seems to be hit or miss also! Sometimes it's lukewarm and undercooked and sometimes good. We went today at 8:30 and there were plenty of open tables so we assumed everything would be good, BUT it took 15 minutes before our server even approached our table. We had to ask for refills TWICE and syrup for our pancakes. WTH??? The hash browns were way undercooked and eggs lukewarm. After we finished eating, the server gave us the check but never came back to get it. We were ready to leave, and after waiting 25 minutes, I got up and walked the check over to where she was standing and laughing with another server in a light colored shirt. We love the atmosphere and decor of this Scramblers and have tried to give them every opportunity to be consistent, with regard to quality service and food but they have failed consistently. Management needs to train their servers how to deliver great customer service!! Without proper training by MANAGEMENT, they have no one to blame but themselves! read more
