1st time visiting an Ohio location and it did not regret. It was a crowded Friday night but we were able to get seated within 10 minutes without a reservation. As always, asked for recommendations from our server. Shout out to Jett because everything he recommended I loved! Favorite part of the meal was the short rib and carrot hummus and the cheddar scallion biscuits. I liked it so much I actually thought of ordering some to go. Menu has so many options to choose from, it caters to many types of palettes. My bevy, the Blackberry Cooler, was refreshing. My friend got the non alcoholic version and said it was too tart. Came back for a round two after 4 years. This time I brought my husband and we met up with my Bestie for dinner. It's definitely a happening place. Reservations are highly recommended. They do seat you as quick as they can. But there may be a wait. Which is expected for a Friday evening. We sat on their patio. Nice ambiance. And not as loud as it is on the inside. We started out with the biscuits and the Queso and Guacamole with tortilla chips. This is where the three stars come in. The Queso is not hot. Not sure if that is the thing. But it was not even warm. Who eats cold Queso? We asked for hot Queso twice. And nope.... It was never hot. I think the second time it was colder than the first time. Bummer. Then for our entrees. Hubby had Fish and Chips. He liked it. My friend and I both got the Tempura Shrimp Bowl. She added Salmon to hers. Again.... Not hot. Not even warm. Was told that typically it is not made hot. Kind of odd. But ok. The server did take my friends back to the kitchen to have it heated up. I ate mine as is. It's really tasty. I enjoyed it. Would probably get it again. Giving 3 stars sucks. But it is what it is. Service and ambience are both amazing! I really liked the covered outdoor seating with fire. The thing that kept me coming back every night of my work trip though was the food! The food is phenomenal and you can tell the chef is very intentional with the flavor combinations. I wanted to eat items on the healthier side and really enjoyed their salmon dishes. This was our second visit to Kitchen Social. We had a trip to Daytona for the weekend and decided to make a stop in Columbus just to eat here again. Staff is always super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Reservations are a must because they are literally busy from open to close. I visited from Arizona, with 5 co-workers. We arrived around 4:30p and were seated immediately and drink orders were taken. We ordered a few appetizers for the table. The biscuits came highly recommended and they did not disappoint, nor did the shrimp. The guacamole and quest did were okay. My main dish, the teriyaki steak was delicious. The flavor was on point however the cook was off. I asked for medium but on side of the steak (the thinner side) was medium well and as I moved to the thicker part it was medium, not a big issue. Walked in for our 215p brunch reservation Saturday Jan 24th and was seated in a few minutes which was awesome. The place was packed, the server came over and greeted us with a smile, the restaurant is a little loud FYI, actually a lot loud magic doesn't bother us but could annoy others. I met two friends for a Saturday lunch not too long ago. It was my first time here, but one of these friends knew how good it is, and how busy it gets. She recommended making reservations for us, which I am glad I did. Due to the multi businesses in this area, parking can be tricky. I lucked out when another car pulled out. The staff is welcoming and patient no matter how busy they are (they are always busy), and the food is so good across the board that it's always a great first-world problem to decide what to order here. My friends and I went on a Friday evening and it was packed. It took us about 40 minutes to get a table. Staff was friendly. Waiter was excellent and answered all our questions and made helpful recommendations. I ordered the cheddar biscuits which were phenomenal. I ordered chicken katsu which was exceptional but portion was not large. I ended it and was wanting more food. I had a recommended cocktail which was called "Cactus" something with watermelon. It did not taste good in my opinion. I tried my friends fish n' chips and the fish was heavily breaded but flavors were great. My other friend enjoyed her Caesar salad. If you are neurodivergent and/or one who struggles with noise, be cautious when visiting. It is extremely loud and crowded. Too loud to even carry on a conversation which was not pleasant. You could not here each other or the waiter very well. This restaurant has open floor plans/industrial open ceiling plan and everything echos. We were able to grab two seats at their massive wraparound bar made of solid nickel and space enough o talk loudly while using all the grand gestures necessary to enjoy. The decor is that of 'coastal' yet on an epic way, oversized baskets, globes and even portal like mirrors made me feel that we were beachside and as if there should be a breeze. This cornbread was godly in its composition and apparently both cheddar and Honey were used in making its buttery skillet sizzle. The Korean cauliflower was amazing and big in portion and sweet in taste. I opted for the harvest salad as it has everything I need in this world ; sweet potatoes, walnuts and a light dressing. At 7:30 the manager came up a- we had not received our food yet and told us we had to finish and leave our table at 8:00 as he had another reservation to seat there. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a younger gentleman with such a warm, upbeat personality that instantly set a positive tone for the night. Both times I got the salad.  I recommend The fried chicken salad and harvest salad! This recent visit my friends got the fried chicken platter (she said it's one of her go to places for fried chicken,  loves it). I do like the fried chicken. Okay everyone sit down and grab some popcorn, actually got to kitchen social and order you some biscuits right away while you read my review and screw that popcorn. Those biscuits are the best things that have touched my mouth. Make sure to spread that heavenly sent butter around. I also enjoyed the street corn nachos, listen I'm a sucker for some street corn and anything related. I was a little nervous they wouldn't have the full flavor, but wooo that was scrumptious. Before I get into the bigger plates ( for real they serve you a very nice amount), I want to mention the blackberry crush. That was a beautifully created mocktail. I'm not someone who partakes in alcohol really but I do like to enjoy a nice drink and it hit the spot (just like my schnookums). Speaking of schnookums, they enjoyed a "shrimp al Pastor tacos" served with some salsa. They had the perfect balance of savory with a touch of sweet from the pineapple. They were perfectly cooked and the salsa was wonderful and tasted fresh. I swear that pineapple was hand picked and flown in straight from the tropical islands this morning because they were wonderful. Now take me back with you when you go, I need a vacation from these kiddos. My little one enjoyed the crispy chicken. They chowed that stuff down. Not a dry piece of chicken on that plate, unlike the Sahara desert. The fries were nice and crispy and the coleslaw needs to be sold in a jar to take home. That was perfectly concocted and made the kiddo do a little dancey dance. You know how picky kids can be too. Now for my meal... the chicken farrotto. That was the best chicken meal I've ever had... and I like to think I am a very good chef at home. They put love into that, someone must have gotten cracked before they made that meal and schnookums will too. The chicken was perfectly tender and juicy, the risotto was making my tastebuds dance. I could eat that everyday. The chicken is very nice quality, fresh, and definitely could not be frozen. I need to know their farmer and start ordering from them because it was wonderful. Seriously one of the best meals my family has enjoyed, and we like to eat to that should tell yall. Lastly I can not forget about the service, everyone was very nice, our waitress deserves a raise because she was great.
