At 7:30 the manager came up a- we had not received our food yet and told us we had to finish and leave our table at 8:00 as he had another reservation to seat there. I would recommend making a reservation since the restaurant always seems to be busy! I have visited Kitchen Social numerous times, and each experience has been fantastic. The menu offers various dishes, and everything I have tried has been delicious. You really can't go wrong with any item on their menu. While takeout and dine-in are great options, I order takeout more often. The service is consistently top-notch, and the atmosphere is always vibrant. I'm giving a score of 4 because there could be more consistency with the food we order. Those biscuits are the best things that have touched my mouth. Make sure to spread that heavenly sent butter around. Before I get into the bigger plates ( for real they serve you a very nice amount), I want to mention the blackberry crush. That was a beautifully created mocktail. I'm not someone who partakes in alcohol really but I do like to enjoy a nice drink and it hit the spot (just like my schnookums). Speaking of schnookums, they enjoyed a "shrimp al Pastor tacos" served with some salsa. They had the perfect balance of savory with a touch of sweet from the pineapple. They were perfectly cooked and the salsa was wonderful and tasted fresh. I swear that pineapple was hand picked and flown in straight from the tropical islands this morning because they were wonderful. Now take me back with you when you go, I need a vacation from these kiddos. My little one enjoyed the crispy chicken. They chowed that stuff down. Not a dry piece of chicken on that plate, unlike the Sahara desert. The fries were nice and crispy and the coleslaw needs to be sold in a jar to take home. That was perfectly concocted and made the kiddo do a little dancey dance. You know how picky kids can be too. Now for my meal... the chicken farrotto. That was the best chicken meal I've ever had... and I like to think I am a very good chef at home. They put love into that, someone must have gotten cracked before they made that meal and schnookums will too. The chicken was perfectly tender and juicy, the risotto was making my tastebuds dance. I could eat that everyday. The chicken is very nice quality, fresh, and definitely could not be frozen. I need to know their farmer and start ordering from them because it was wonderful. We had such a great dinner at Kitchen Social! Our server was very nice, and answered all our questions since it was our first time there. We started with the biscuits and they were divine! We split a wedge and it was also perfect. My husband got the fish and chips and loved them, and I got the salmon and it was also very good. I was sad because I came specifically for the miso cod I had seen in previous reviews, and it wasn't on the menu anymore. I would have preferred to order that, but it's ok! We finished with the chocolate cake and tres leches. Both desserts were fine, but we wouldn't order them again. Everything else was fantastic. (We did order coffee with our dessert, but we never got them. They weren't on our bill, so I guess she forgot about them. No biggie.) We loved the whole vibe of the restaurant. I was in town for work and decided to grab some food to go. The restaurant was busy when I arrived and I was surprised to see my order was ready! It only took 15 minutes from the time I placed the online order until the food was in my hands. Service was friendly and prompt. The food was delicious! The Korean BBQ fried cauliflower came with the BBQ sauce and yum yum on the side since it was carry out. Both sauces together were so good. The BBQ sauce had the right amount of sweetness and the cauliflower was still crunchy. The Thai chicken bowl was a huge portion. It was very, very spicy, but fresh and full of flavor. My first experience at Kitchen Social exceeded my expectations! I had heard about it from the internet and have been wanting to try it. It was a great spot for a date night or to meet friends. Service was amazing, they made sure to be aware of my boyfriend's nut allergy which is always a plus. The cheddar biscuits were as good as everyone says. It was our first day in Columbus and we stumbled upon this place. Bright and airy with an upbeat vibe. Our server was very proud that they'd won Best Restaurant again. Her name is Denise and she was a lot of fun. We shared the biscuits (pretty darn good stuff), I had the Thai Chicken Bowl and my friend had the Tempura Shrimp Bowl. This place is a hit every time! I've been to this restaurant probably close to 10 times and I've tried something new on the menu each time and it's always delicious. A few dishes that stand out is the crème brûlée French roast (best French toast I've ever had) the salmon and their cheddar scallion bread as a starter. This place is poppin' and rightfully so. After hearing it was listed as one of Columbus's top restaurants on Yelp, I've had my eye on it for quite some time. We stopped in for lunch during a weekday and it was extremely busy. Luckily, after waiting for a bit we were able to snag seats at the bar and forgo the waitlist. Menu has a nice variety, without being overwhelming. Full service bar as well. We started with the cheddar and scallion biscuits. They were quite literally the best biscuits I've ever had. They are topped with honey butter and almost melt in your mouth, highly recommend. For entrees, we got the grilled chicken tacos and crispy chicken sandwich. The tacos have grilled chicken, candied bacon, cabbage slaw and charred corn topped with chipotle crema with a side of chips and homemade salsa. The sandwich has a huge fried chicken breast, pickled onions and jalapenos with gochujang aioli. Both were really good. The salsa had a much bigger kick than I was expecting, and the chicken sandwich was slightly spicy as well given the jalapenos and gochujang aoli. Overall, Kitchen Social lived up to the hype. However, I would highly recommend getting a reservation or going at an off-peak time. That said, they appeared to have plenty of wait staff and the kitchen didn't seem to miss a beat. Parking was also a bit of a challenge given its location essentially in the first floor of an apartment complex with other restaurants left and right, but at least it's free. read more

What an amazing brunch experience. I tried their brunch menu for the first time, and it was so good. There was a wait time for us to be seated, and it took around 40 mins to get a table on Saturday. We made a reservation for a Saturday afternoon, and we were glad we did because it was crowded. It did seem like they were getting through the wait rather quickly. And although the place was packed, the service did not disappoint. Everyone from the check in hosts, to our server and (who I believed to be) the two managers were all super pleasant and helpful. I ordered the cinnabiscuits which were absolutely amazing! I also ordered the breakfast tacos which were another solid choice - something I wouldn't typically go for but I wanted to try something different and was very happy with my choice. Started off my order with a beer. They offer a mix of common domestic beers and local craft beers. We started our food order with the cheddar and scallion biscuits. I cannot recommend this dish enough. It is a must get. For my main dish I got the burger with a salad. The salad was very fresh. The dressing had a great flavor. The burger also was well made. The lerruce, tomato, pickles and sauce paired well with the burger. We finished off the night with the Butterscotch Budino. This dish includes butterscotch pudding, pretzel crunch and mascarpone cream. I love the sweet and salty flavors. This dish also gets a high recommendation from me. Lastly our server was great. We got two comfy and perfect bar stools and didn't feel bad about not getting a table (3) food 9/10. One of had a tuna bowl which was good but not exceptional (8/10) and I had the ribeye (10/10). Great Signature Cocktails. The Owner was sitting at a nearby table and at one point made the rounds checking on diners. Always a nice touch. Now for the food - it all sounded better than it was. It was just OK. I had the Fish & Chips. It was standard bar food quality. The fries were barely warm. I know I could have sent them back and I'm sure they would have corrected it but why should I have to do that. It was very busy, there is no reason that fries should be sitting around and getting limp. My lunch mate had the Crispy Chicken Salad. Again, it was good but not anything to rave about. We also had the biscuits. I'm a carbwhore so of course I loved them. One other thing that really turned me off - the trend of processing your credit card on the POS device that the waitstaff is holding in their hand, then turning it to the customer to add a tip and sign right then and there, while the waitstaff waits. Very Uncomfortable. You feel pressure. You feel uncomfortable taking a few moments to review the bill and to think about how much to tip. Bottom Line: I would definitely meet my friends for some cocktails and some appetizers, but it wouldn't be MY recommendation for a destination meal. read more

I ordered a Sangiovese "Super Tuscan" and with it being warm around the bar and outside I would strongly recommend having some of those red wine bottles in a cooler chamber or some ice. Came today Sept 6. Aiden was our waiter. Tell him he should be as attentive to all tables instead of particular tables. We had biscuits for appetizer & they were barely warm. Butter wouldn't even melt. Had to call him to the table to top the coffee and water off but tables on each side of us he topped their water off more than 2x before I finally called him over to our table.
