This is such a small, little place, but definitely a hidden gem. The food & drinks were absolutely delicious. I ordered an espresso martini & tried some of my friend's blackberry sour. Both were great. Our server was awesome. Very attentive and nice.

Part of a restaurant group that includes the Press Grill and Club 185, you will see several of the similar menu selections at each location. Each restaurant though has unique features to their individual menus. It is my observation that Rossi is the "fanciest" of the bunch. Press Grill has two locations one in the Short North, which is nearby, and the other Press location is in Grandview Heights. I have posted a menu for your review. My favorite here is a pasta with a Diablo style spiced cream sauce. There's a well appointed bar with a wide variety of spirits available. Apple comfortable seating in the dining area with lighting and ambience that can contribute to the success a more intimate gathering. Standard challenging parking in the Short North, but with some thought and preplanning, you should be OK. If you're not familiar with the area, go online, take a look at some maps and figure out where the garage parking is located. That seems to me to be often the most reliable options.

The Rossi is excellent. Great spot for a date night and you have to try their focaccia bread. The pastas are all amazing and their cocktails are delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

The Salmon Carpaccio is a MUST!! We were debating but it was absolutly amazing and gone in seconds. Chade was our waiter at the bar and his service was amazing as well as his food recommendations. The pizza is one of our favorites now and we will absolutely be back for more.

My first time as Rossi was for happy hour last night. As an Italian who has had my fair share of home cooking, I was pretty impressed with the meatball appetizer. The sauce was so good and had all the flavors you're looking for. I also took advantage of the $6 cocktails and got a mojito and a Paloma. The service was great- I made a reservation earlier that day. Also overall, really cute atmosphere and ambiance, I would love to come here on a date. I only knock off one star because compared to other happy hours..this one is a little pricey and I would love to see more food options.

Service was super fast. Ambiance was great. Food was just okay. Ordered the chicken parm. The chicken was perfect, crispy and tasty. Cheese was light and the spaghetti it sat on was light on marinara. Asked for a side, but it was still bland. Everything needed some salt and a kick in the ass with some crushed red pepper.

    Great menu. Wonderful Italian food

Great experience. Christmas atmosphere was totally enjoyable and joyous. Great crowd. Sold out. Service was outstanding and food even better

Pretty good food overall- cute ambiance with a variety of dishes to choose from. Loved the restaurant week menu as well. Great service and location!

Came here as a walk-in with two of my girlfriends Saturday night. Thankfully, we were able to get seated really quickly and greeted by our server within just a few minutes we decided to start off with the house bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. It was absolutely delicious. We also wanted to try a few of the starters so we ordered the fried ravioli and the ciabatta bread. The fried ravioli truly reminded us of pizza rolls so a little nostalgic. They were very flavorful and absolutely loved the bread too. It was nice and crispy on the outside and soft and delicious on the inside. For the my entree I got the carbonara my friends ordered the rigatoni and the burger. Everyone's food is absolutely amazing and we left completely stuffed. We will definitely be back to try something else on the menu!

We went for happy hour on a Friday afternoon. Upon entering. We were immediately greeted by the host and entered into a warm and cozy space. I felt like I was in a historic bar in NY or Chicago. High ceilings, gorgeous wood, padded bar seats and bar face so your legs aren't brushing against a hard surface. We sat at the bar where the bartenders and servers were noticeably friendly and attentive. Ultimately, this is one of my favorite happy hour menus in Cbus (half off pizzas, shareable, and $6 cocktails). We decided on a mushroom pizza, which had a nice umami flavor, crispy thin crust, and was pretty large and more than enough for two people to share. The calimari was crispy, nicely seasoned, and came with a unique basil dipping sauce (plus more traditional marinara). Finally, the margarita was a bit weak but still pretty good for $6. Looking forward to enjoying more from their happy hour menu in the future! Highly recommended for a quick bite with friends or a group.

We came here during happy hour and was I was excited to finally visit. Parking is the usual paid street parking. The restaurant is beautiful, the bar is so classy, and I would describe the atmosphere as cool retro jazz. It was a Tuesday evening, very calm and quiet, except for the kitchen noises. Their menu changed slightly, I think they had their pizzas for happy hour previously, but it wasn't this time. However, the OH pizza was delicious, crispy, sweet, spicy, fantastic. I would recommend this pizza, it's very good. We also got the meatballs, bruschetta, and truffle popcorn. I was not expecting the meatballs to be two massive balls, it was good and delicious, just a bit too salty. The popcorn was a bit soggy, but truffle flavor was good. The bruschetta also came on just two slices of bread and covered in tomato and balsamic vinaigrette goodness. The appetizers we got during happy hour ranges from $3-$4. We also got the mini Cosmo and Lemon Drop, and chardonnay to sip and those were good to pair with everything. I preferred the Lemon Drop a bit more, it gave a good sour and sweet balance. Overall, with mini drinks, appetizers, and pizza, the cost was about $53 before tip. It's not too bad when we shared with 3 people. I would come back for their pizza and a couple apps! I really like the atmosphere of the bar and staff was very nice and patient with us. Staff was nice to accommodate us and allowed us to choose somewhere else to sit. I would recommend this place for a casual date, a drink, and a delicious pizza. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the decor of the restaurant. I feel like outside of happy hour, it may be a bit expensive including parking, but it was pretty good during happy hour.

Wanted a good date night - pre concert stop. Hadnt been to The Rossi in a while but quickly remembered why it was such a great spot. North part of Short North area and actually had a lot of street parking nearby. The Rossi is small so highly recommend reservations - although tonight we hadnt planned ahead and we lucky on timing (had a nice hightop for two near the bar. Vibe is casual with first class service and high energy. Everyone there looks happy and socializes with their gang. Barstools 12-14 were packed with friendlies from side to side. Hostess was super friendly and seated us quickly. Our server, Connor, popped over really quick for intro and drinks. We later learned it was only his third week, but he was a rock star! Thanks Connor. Started with a glass of wine (good selection to choose from) and an Bourbon (great selection) coupled with their Bread Service - really fresh hot bread. Highly recommend this simple start. We also saw the couple next to us had the bruschetta and it looked amazing too (nice time). The menu (see pic) has something for everyone. For dinner we split the Leafy green salad and the Salmon (Connor recommendation) and Chicken Parm. Both were beautifully presented and tasted even better. Either dish would be a hit! Check and Goodbyes were smooth and we were on our way. Perfect pit stop and just as we wanted. Recommend giving it a try.

The space is very bright and airy: loved the floral and plant vibes. Our server was kind but maybe a bit apprehensive because we brought our two daughters. Next was broccolini which our 8 month old devoured. I tried the funghi pasta and my husband had the sausage ragu. Both had generous portions. The kitchen made butter noodles for our daughter and she LOVED them. I was pleased they didn't try to doll them up because she really did just want noodles and butter. REVIEW BY Avila.Eats on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube…read more Service: waitress was excellent and incredible friendly. Thank you Linda for a phenomenal dining experience. Waters were always full and the recommendations were like no other. Ambiance/Atmosphere: inside is a stunning old school bar and dimly lit steakhouse. Truly elegant and beautiful. This is a lovely date night and a special occasion is a must here. Food: 1. Tuna tartare is light and fresh. The tuna is soft and delicate. The avacado is creamy and adds a richness. The sauce is tangy but packed full of umami. Rice chips are light and salty I'd recommend. 7.5 2. Burratta is on crispy toast. The burratta is creamy and smooth. The jam adds a sweetness and the hot honey adds a beautiful spice. The pistachios add a crunch and flavor. I'd recommend. 8 3. Truffle tots aren't all that crispy. But soft and well seasoned. The Parmesan adds a salty nutty flavor. The truffle sauce is rich and creamy with a beautiful truffle flavor that isn't overly done. If they were crispy it would be a 10. I'd insist. 9.5 4. Bread service is alright. The sourdough isn't all that strong with flavor. 4 the chip thing is crunchy with an interesting flavor. Not my personally favorite. 3. The butter is very well whipped and smooth. The butter is really good. Butter makes it 5. Wagyu ribeye is incredible tender. Melts like butter and the tallow butter on top adds an extra layer of richness. It's well seasoned and very lightly as it doesn't need a lot. The beef does all the talking. It touches your tongue and melts away. I'd insist. 10. Dipping the ribeye in the truffle sauce from the tater tots adds an even richer flavor and Creaminess. It's very rich but worth awhile if you enjoy strong flavors 6. Onion strings are soft in a well seasoned and flavored onion strings. Best onion strings I've had although I haven't had many. Very good combo adding the sweetness of the batter with the rich buttery Wagyu 7. NY strip is tender but overly salted. You just taste salt. I wouldn't recommend. 3.5 8. The contender was strong with tequila but pushed the chocolatey coffee flavor strong. The bitter sweetness matched pleasantly for a nice sippable drink during drinner. I'd recommend. 9. Chocolate mousse light and refreshing. Decadent and smooth with. Rich chocolate flavor. Chilled like ice cream and not to sweet. I'd highly recommend. 8.5 10. Key lime pie is custardy and smooth. Rich and creamy. The lime flavor is prominent but not over done. The gram cracker crust is crispy but chewy. Buttery and slightly sweet. Best key lime pie I've ever had. I'd insist 10
