Great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Staff is polite and friendly. Coming back for Tea Sandwiches. Only thing that threw me off was what was on the receipt. Never seen that before.

Cool old space in uptown Westerville I'd suggest reservations, otherwise you get sat at community table in middle (still nice and comfy). Like an old Library or bookstore, amazingly comfortable. Tea house menu looks enticing, try it next time! The soup was outstanding shrimp sausage and ham The beef burgundy (they used the French name I can't spell) was top notch The rosemary rolls were authentic and delicious I'll definitely go back! Wonderful server

This is a really unique place! I made Valentine's Day reservations early to ensure we got a private table. There is a community table in the middle and the decor looks like an old library in an old home. The burger was fantastic. It's fairly loud in the restaurant, but we had read that so it wasn't a surprise to us. I'm not sure I'll come back for Valentine's Day (too loud and not very romantic), but we will return again.

The vibe here is AMAZING! I will have to For sure rethink my birthday plans. I can not wait to have a tea party! Our server, Kat, was FANTASTIC and helpful. She recommended a sandwich for my dining companion and they were very happy with the food choice. 10/10!

Ambiance? Check. Could not be cuter. Service? Really great! Food? Meeeeeeh. I would go back to try tea service, but their appetizers and desserts left me disappointed. We had the rosemary dinner rolls (weird texture - too dense, maybe?), gorgonzola artichoke and spinach dip (... OK?) and poutine (no. Just no). The desserts were fine but the apple cinnamon roll was cold and the chocolate torte was very sweet.

Beautiful interior I can't wait to come back to and explore.

We had been told to not miss Asterisk Coffee and it does appear to be such a cool spot with a solid long bar straight out of the old west and a library that extends as far as the bar its parallel to. There are cendewiers too on repeat and attracts one to simply explore. We did make ourselves to the back before being told by a staff member to return to the hostess station. Of which there was none but thats ok the place looks cool and we will return and promise not to pass the entry hostess stand without further permission.

Asterisk is in the heart of uptown Westerville, right next to Old Bag of Nails and across the street from Graeters. Street parking is a luck of the draw, but there is a small lot behind Graeters that provides a short walk. When you walk in, you are greeted by the friendliest bartender who absolutely loves his job! He explained the coffee old fashioned and we could tell he not only loved the drink but also making it. The walls are lined with book shelves and gives the cutest yet coolest place to be in! I've been told brunch & tea are just lovely here. We stopped by for a work meeting happy hour. It was not busy on a Wednesday late afternoon, so we quickly got seated in the back of the room. They helped us move some tables together so that we could sit 6. The server was young but was very patient and kind. I ordered "her ball and chain" and it was delicious! The blend of favors was a perfect summer afternoon cocktail. The appetizers were really good as well! The butternut squash dip looked a little unappetizing but was actually very delicious! The lemongrass and chicken potstickers were delicious. Served with a side of kimchee and dipping sauce, it made the perfect little appetizer. We also had poutine, bruschetta, and truffle fries - which were equally flavorful.

Favorite stop when in the Westerville area. Gives you a Library, den, College professor vibe. Welcoming casual tea/bar area in the front and community/private seating in the back. Personally love the vibe. Planned and reserved table for ten for holiday dinner. Snowed really bad but we all made it. Great drinks, Great service and great food. I have been 3-4 times and can always find or try something new here. Many options! Our server Tyler M was super helpful, as well as having manager/owner around didnt hurt either (she was very nice). We started with Coffee Old fashions (really tasty!), and house wines. Highly recommend starting with Rosemary Dinner rolls and/or Mushroom Toast - both were amazing. Could have made a meal of them !! Split a house salad and then for entrees we did the Butternut Squash Ravioli with Salmon (GREAT combo), and the Pot Pie. Lets just say we were members of the 'clean plate club'. We were too full, so had to skip Dessert, but will try again next time. Parking on the street in front or parking lots nearby too. Come early and have a drink in the bar before seating for dinner. Thanks Tyler for great service and Asterisk for a great friends dinner. Everyone loved it.

Had a reservation for 3 on Saturday afternoon and had a great time. Our server was knowledgeable on the menu and gave good recommendations for some first timers. We bundled a Full & Petite tea which gave each of us a tea of choice, soup or salad, 5 tea sandwiches and 2 desserts. I enjoyed the Vanilla Chai Tea and everything served was great. The lemon blueberry scone was my favorite. Cute and fun way to spend time with people in an elevated place!

The food was good and the service was on point and personal. Katherine was very nice and answered all of our questions. We had the full tea experience. Excellent!!! The ambience was nice with nice little music playing, yet there were women there talking entirely too loud during tea time drowning out the music. Other than that the overall experience was great

Excellent example of higher end diner food. You know what I mean. Nice and varied menu, excellent and inventive cocktails, and well trained servers. Nice bathrooms too, thanks for that. Meghan, the owner, is on her game at all three concepts she owns. Keep up the stellar work.

We had a wonderful time here for Mother's Day. Make sure to get a reservation early for a large party. Also make note that if you are in the middle table - it's a community table so you might be sitting next to another party. I got the cavatelli pasta with chicken and it was delicious

Warmed my heart that the menu was in this book since I love my HOMETOWN!

It's YE Gurl! A tea experience with my other Yelp Gurlies took us to Asterisk and I have not ventured that much into this area being that I live downtown. Though I am used to afternoon teas in Virgin hotels, Denver, and in Vegas with my friends, I was open to seeing what Columbus has in store for me. The service and our waiter was good with the ambiance being whimsical and delightful with enough space to not feel crowded unlike some other tea spots in Columbus. There also was not a time limit, though I would not mind if it was a 90 minute flip table moment. The waiter did suggest since we were a party of 3 to get the full tea and a petite tea, that way we could all have our own selections. I appreciated Nick's observation and explanation of the tea service to me- even pointing out how he can switch things out due to me not eating meat and being on a low sugar diet. The package of tea, app, finger sandwiches, scone, and dessert for three ran me $88 w/o tip ($104 with tip). We ended up getting a black tea, green tea, and herbal tea to switch it up. With all of us getting the great tomato soup and finger sandwiches. The deserts were lovely and I gave compliments to the fact that the scones were not dry and the bread for the sandwiches not stale. You would be surprised what other tea houses pass for food these days. Needless to say we got a great afternoon in, shared some milestones, and planned to do this Yelp Gurlie event again. With tea cups in hand and pinky fingers up, we followed the rabbit down the path to a pleasant afternoon and will look forward to the wonderland that awaits us for the next adventure. Till then!

The Draft Room held a "Dark as Night" event which they featured some rare, highly rated stouts. They listed the stouts and after doing some review research, I knew I couldn't miss out! The bar has seating at the bar, small tables near the bar, and bigger tables/booth near the front of the bar. There is a small narrow outside patio, which looked mainly for smoking. I'm not sure if there are tables out there maybe when the weather is nice. The Draft Room had a ton of taps and offered flights, full beer pours, and even half beer pours for all their beers. I love this idea because sometimes I would rather have a smaller portion to try more things! The bartenders were fast and efficient. Since my husband and I both opted to do a flight, they handed us a board with four holes for the flight glasses, and a piece of chalk. The drafts are listed by number, and posted on each side of the bar. We wrote the number of the drafts we wanted to try on the chalk board paint next to each of the drink holes. What a cool idea! There was a cooler of take home beers on the side of the bar. I saw multiple people coming in and buying beer from the cooler and leaving. They have a great selection! They don't have their own food, so you can bring your own. The bar is right next to Jimmy John's and also Pasquale's! We will definitely be back!

Since then - we have come back for their plant bingo quite often, and I've seen a lot of their staff, and have come away with zero complaints. They keep a nice tap list with variety (a little hop heavy, but that's the current trend, right?), they have a small selection of to-go beers and singles/BYO. It's a chill location, with Pasquale's nearby, and Ox-b's across the street (who do free delivery during plant bingo).
