I know I should try different things, but I'm a creature of have it. Gotta have my Uncle Moo's Manhandler.
Kenny D.

Anyone who's read enough of my reviews will tell you that I am a creature of habit. Thus, if I like it, I'm going to order it again, and again... and again. I finally broke that vicious cycle. I'm a huge fan of Uncle Moose's Manhandler Skillet, which I've been ordering without fail, ever single visit ever since I first came here, years ago. It would take a phenomenal server to get me to try something different. Enter --- HEATHER! Heather had such a delightful way about her, greeting us energetically, taking time to explain some of the menu options for my wife (who takes forever to make a decision, which is the only reason I can't get my food sooner). We asked about the Gameday Skillet, a seasonal item comprised of chili on a bed of scrambled eggs with potatoes, onion, tomatoes, cheese and sour cream. Now for the record, I NEVER put chili with eggs, but Heather convinced me to try it (I made a video to post, but I'm having difficulty uploading it - there is a photo). We have a winner! Well, we HAD a winner because I inhaled it in one sitting. I also had my first blueberry muffin today and that was DELICIOUS! Stir in excellent conversation from Eric, who was cleaning tables nearby, and you've got a wonderful experience. There is a reason that the Pickerington location is the best. People like Heather, Eric, and the unit manager (I didn't get her name). Nothing but satsifaction every time I visit.

Oddly, I rarely go out for breakfast but this morning, I am glad I did! Me and my friends walked in and were instantly greeted and welcomed in. The lady who greeted the front door had also let us know that our server would be with us in just a moment and offered to get us drinks in the meantime. I love to see that the employees work as a team to get the job done. Mark was our server this morning and I just want to give a shoutout to him. He was very attentive and made sure we were all satisfied. I also want to give a shoutout to the crew that made our delicious meals this morning! Thank you!

Scramblers is a nice breakfast place to eat if you're in the mood. I've came here a bunch in the past and it's decent. In my most recent visit, my only complaints was that the hash browns were a bit undercooked and getting it loaded was overpriced for what you get. They also removed a couple of menu items that I used to order, such as the southwest Omelette. Service was good, food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. The ambience was that of an early morning diner. Overall, Scramblers is a solid 8/10.

First start with I am a vegetarian and they offer up lots of options. Service speak volumes. Everyone is superb. The atmosphere is beautifully set with a fireplace in the center. I say stop in and enjoy it as we did.

Stopped for a quick brunch, waited a few minutes to be seated. The waitress was quick to my table and promptly took my drink order. I settled on the classic breakfast with French toast. The food was good. Eggs cooked to my liking, and the French toast was good. As far as COVID precautions go, they were maintaining social distancing and the staff was wearing masks. There may have been an option for an online menu, but I must have missed it. Perhaps I'm being overly cautious, but the menu I was presented was visibly dirty, when the food came, I was given a syrup bottle, and a bottle of ketchup. This establishment a few weeks back was serving condiments in individual serving containers. I must say my dining experience was better when these precautions were taken. If you do not mind the precautions, then by all means focus on the food review. Overall, for me, I would have liked to continue seeing that the proper precautions are taken. For this reason, I give what would have been 4 stars, a 3.

We have been to this Scramblers many times and have always had a great experience! The entire staff is always warm, friendly, and welcoming! I do not recall ever having a bad experience with any of our servers. The food is pretty good - always fresh and always hot. There have been a few hiccups in regard to the food, but any and all issues have always been resolved. The only issue we had today was that the toast was drenched in butter. I could not take more than two bites of my sourdough toast. The toast tasted extremely buttery and salty. Our waitress apologized and brought out some sourdough toast with butter on the side which I appreciated; however, it took quite some time to bring it out as I was almost finished with my meal when she brought it out. I also love that the prices are extremely reasonable and the portion sizes are quite large! We will continue to keep Scramblers in our breakfast/brunch rotation as we enjoy the food and the service! Thank you!

Prepare to wait if you come on a Saturday afternoon. Inside is well lit and decorated and there's plenty of seating for big and small parties! My biscuits and gravy were good. Hash was crispy and yummy! (Ask for salsa!!) The breakfast conewich was pretty big and yummy. Overall, good food and super friendly service. Take friends and family here for a meal!

Charming decor and friendly staff. However, my experience was ruined due to an error on my take out order. I placed an order for three additional meals with an add on order of sausages. Easy, right? I initially thought so, so I wasn't concerned about my order being incorrect. I get home and my order is missing main items like pancakes, french toast, utensils, and it looked as if the order was just slapped together. I call immediately and I explained that I just had an eaten there and then ordered additional takeout and my takeout order was incorrect. The nice young lady apologized and offered to have it remade. Now I accepted that and also stated since I have to come back up there what other compensation can you provide me. She then transfers me to the incredibly Customer Service oriented manager named Juan. I do hope you can sense the sarcasm. As I explained my situation to him stating what items have been missed, what was wrong with the order and what I expected ask a reasonable solution to this situation. He then goes on and asked me several questions over and over again about the takeout meal, I explained to him one more time to which he cut me off, overtalked me, and really wasn't listening to resolve my issue. When he asked again what I ordered I said I already told you. At which point, he cursed and said he did not want to be "a$$ hole" and basically gave me the impression that he was unwilling to fix this situation. So I told him I was going to speak to him in a nicer tone that he was talking to me that I wanted him to remake the meal. I would be there in 10 minutes and I would like it piping hot. To Juan's credit my food was ready once I arrived however, he proceeds to tell me that his waitress and his expediter both checked the order and it was correct when it left. Which wasn't true obviously. As a matter of fact, my friend said she watched the waitress grab the bag and didn't open it and just came to the table. I don't have a reason to go get free food from an establishment where I've already paid and tipped the server. Second of all he indirectly called me a liar to my face, which is poor service in its own right. Thirdly, when I asked what other compensation he was willing to provide me, he just simply smiled and said no he wasn't going to do anything. Juan needs to go back to the beginning of where Customer Service starts in order to be a better front of the house manager, because when your server makes an error, you own it you do not place the blame back on the customer. Juan needs to be retrained on how to actually service people, he does not know how to talk to anyone. He did not know how to de-escalate the situation. I have been in Customer Service for 25 years and 15 of those have been working in an escalation department that was the worst interaction I believe I have ever encountered with a manager to resolve a situation. I mean Wendy's resolved issues better than this. Being that this was my first time coming to Delaney's, it will also be my last time. Because if you treat any customers the way you treated me, is clear he has no respect for the patrons of this establishment.

You are immediately greeted at the front door, great customer service. The server was very quick to take our orders, and the food is worth the short wait. We are originally from Texas, so of course my wife is going to try out the fried steak, and to her delight, this plate did not disappoint. The portion was spot on, and the gravy was very delicious. Burger is how I want a burger, nothing over the top, no steak knife stuck in the middle to hold it steady. Just a backyard style burger, simple, and very delicious. Fries were very good as well, very nice crunch to every bite. My son wasn't hungry, and so he just got the avocado toast, which he enjoyed as well. Will we be back, no question in my mind that we will. Establishment is very clean, and when you sit down, you are automatically attended to. Great spot.

I thought that I would give it a shot again, but the food was just as disappointing as my first try. The service is great though! Everyone seems to be friendly and kind! We stopped by around 10 AM today (Saturday). Every table was full (so clearly others do like the food/service). My husband and I started off with a cup of coffee while our daughter got a glass of chocolate milk. The coffee was watery and bland (although they have a sign up front about having the world's best coffee). Be prepared to wait a while for your food. It took almost 45 minutes for us to get ours; however, it was understandable considering every table was full! For food, my daughter got the cinnamon roll. She absolutely loved it! She said that it was super soft and ooey-gooey! My husband ordered the steak and eggs. He ordered the steak medium, but it came out very well-done (super chewy). I tried his home fries with his side of bacon and both of those were good! My daughter enjoyed the bacon too! I had the biscuits and gravy and a side of "cheesy" scrambled eggs. A big no to both! The biscuits were undercooked and the gravy just tasted like a large clump of flour! The "cheesy" scrambled eggs were tough scrambled eggs with some shredded cheese sprinkled on the top! While the food was not "it" for me, there are other things that I do enjoy about Canal Wigwam! It's a cute little diner located in the center of our comforting and cozy town! They promote many other local businesses through their "decor" - the dining tables are designed with local businesses flyers/contact information, their coffee mugs promote another local business, etc. Again, I really want to like the food here, but for some reason - my taste buds do not agree!
