Nice family run hip BBQ place. Great upstairs patio. It's got top notch food with decent portions. We've been multiple times and never disappointed. Nice beer selection. This is a great option in the reynoldsburg area.

Nothing to complain about. We were seated quickly, greeted friendly and quickly. We were the first on the balcony on a pretty day. This was our first time eating here and we were happy with everything that was brought to the table. Kelan, my husband, enjoyed his 1/2 slab of ribs and fried sweet potatoes. The ribs were so tender they literally fell off the bone when you picked them up. He said this was the first time he had ever eaten ribs with a fork. He said for extra sauce and they gave him just enough. The sweet potatoes fries with the house sauce was great. I had a smash burger with house cut fries, which for me was charred perfectly. Short menu but big flavors. Hearty and robust and ample. I ordered the Slow roasted rib dip with sweet potato fries and could eat only half of it. Others in my party ordered the rib sandwich, cheeseburger, regular fries, and grilled chicken salad. No complaints! Their fries are uniquely yummalicious. They're cut differently...almost like sliced. And they seem air fried but I'm not sure. They have a nice crisp on the edges but are slightly pliable and then sort of melt in your mouth. The regular fries and sweet potato, both. I'm sure to return but only when I can afford the calorie splurge.

Wisconsin Cheese Curds are offered with a Southwest Ranch dipping sauce for $9.75. The Diablo Double Double Burger, featuring house-made habanero cheese, fresh jalapenos, and a toasted pretzel bun with red chili spread, is available. It is served with Diablo Ketchup and fresh-cut fries for $15.99. The burger for me was very well done

They moved fast to convert the space in downtown Reynoldsburg to a comfortable space with warm furnishing and TVs everywhere. We were promptly seated and thoroughly enjoyed a juicy slab burger with crisp sweet potato fries and a side of slab sauce as well as a tender buffalo chicken sandwich with a side of ranch and crisp warm fries. A delightful experience with attentive service and fun food.

Salmon and the creamy lemon sauce on it was wonderful! Nice serving and it was cooked correctly! Also, the French dip was spectacular!

Found it on Yelp and was not disappointed. Go with the namesake, The Slab Burger and you will be very happy!

Anyone know if they have gluten free options? I know most smoked and bbq choices are until you get to rubs, spices, marinades etc. Obviously the Mac and Cheese is not but hey, I'm here for the meat.

Our ribs are gluten free. Sorry for the delayed response.

Since your business name is "Taste of Chicago" (which…read morescreams of Italian beef), and Italian beef is actually mentioned on your site, it's nowhere to be found on your damn menu. Goodbye.

I don't know when they first opened but thank God my son told me about this place. As much as I…read moredrive by it on Livingston, I should have seen it by now. But that's the only problem they have; if you aren't looking for it, you're probably going to miss it, being recessed among the other businesses. And good luck on the parking. There's not much room, which is a greater issue if that club next door (or 2 doors down) is jumping. And now the good news. I was loving that Chicago-Style Italian Roast Beef sandwich. It truly reminded me of home. Unfortunately, I had to discard most of the hot peppers because the grown version of me can't do it like the teen version. Temperature hot and quite flavorful. Just remember that if you take it home, you'll get that mild sogginess in the bun from the juices and the travel time. I also purchased the Catfish Sandwich, which as good, but not quite the texture I prefer. Not that it took away from the sandwich at all, still, I had to try it. I bumped them from a 4- to 5-star rating because we ordered the German Chocolate Cake and as we were walking out, we noticed that they forgot to include it. After walking back up the counter and informing them, the gentleman apologized and gave us TWO slices. Kindness goes a long way, BOTH ways. Definitely worth checking out. We will be back.

This time I ordered the Sloppy Joe and the Chili Dog again. This time I got Baked Beans and Greens for sides. He deep fries the Hot Dog and then grills it and adds the sloppy Joe mix on top. It makes for a nice slightly crunchy hot dog with a slight crunch to it. The Sloppy Joe was on a premium bun and had great flavor to it. Yummy!!! The baked beans had a slight sweetness to them. Now on to the star of the show which was the Greens. They had a slight bite to them, so tasty with a bit of pork thrown in for extra goodness. This is the type of small business we have to support. Making great food with homemade goodness. Check them out, no disappointment here.

All of the items on the menu looked appealing to me, but the menu needs work. It has items on it without any description of the items. For example, my turkey sub had banana peppers on them. I like banana peppers, but I know a lot of people who don't and can see that being an issue. I ordered online through the business DoorDash partnership, which created a cold interaction with the person working there. He kept telling me to show him that I accepted the order on DoorDash, and asked if it was my first day since I couldn't find the button. I then told him that I ordered the food for myself and his demeanor changed completely and was extremely nice and gave me the order. I have heard of DoorDash people scamming businesses so I understand his caution, but it could have been handled better. It would probably be best if he just asked if it's a carry-out or a DoorDash order. The inside is essentially just a giant kitchen and counter, so carry-out is also the only option. I ordered a turkey sub, coney, and a side of coleslaw. The order was completed in 9 minutes, so keep that in mind if you have a far drive. The food was very good. Probably one of the best conies I have had. It was all very warm and flavorful and had the right balance of everything. If I'm in the area I'd like to try more of their menu.
