Well this is my neighborhood standby, good drinks , nice atmosphere and good food . Parking can be a little tricky, but the people are extremely nice and I love coming here. They have a nice variety on the menu. Love it. read more

kids chicken tenders-expensive for 3 tenders with no sauce or fries. But tasted fine, normal chicken tenders. Bbq rib sandwich and sweet potato fries-sandwich was good, sauce was sweet. Sweet potato fries were crinkle cut, wish they were crispier but I got them delivered so they were not as crispy as they were when fresh. Pretzels with beer cheese-I specifically clicked double beer cheese. Idk what was in the two small containers, it was congealed and didn't look or smell anything like cheese. Didn't look like mustard either. Pretzels tasted good, soft and salty. read more

Well last week I stopped by with the wife to check this spot out, and to my surprise, not bad at all. Staff was friendly, the establishment was clean ehich is always top of my list. My wife is slways picky with salmon, and was very satisfied with how moist, and seasoned it was. I had the sweet chili sauced wings, and I was very satisfied. These by far are not the best wings I've had, but they were definitely very delicious. Give them a shot. Nice texture, not over fried, pretty spot on. Atmosphere of the patio was very tranquil, very nice spot to chill, and relax. We'll most likely make a stop by again when traveling back here, so don't miss out. read more

The buffalo chicken sandwich was so juicy and flavorful. I also got the sweet potato fries with slab sauce and they were delicious. Our server, Michelle, was so sweet and fun to talk to. The restaurant itself was just a vibe. the patio seating is nice, but we opted for indoor seating and even though it's a small space, we never felt cramped for room. read more

Nothing to complain about. We were seated quickly, greeted friendly and quickly. We were the first on the balcony on a pretty day. This was our first time eating here and we were happy with everything that was brought to the table. Kelan, my husband, enjoyed his 1/2 slab of ribs and fried sweet potatoes. The ribs were so tender they literally fell off the bone when you picked them up. He said this was the first time he had ever eaten ribs with a fork. He said for extra sauce and they gave him just enough. The sweet potatoes fries with the house sauce was great. I had a smash burger with house cut fries, which for me was charred perfectly. Excellent food and service. Warm and welcoming decor. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Short menu but big flavors. Hearty and robust and ample. I ordered the Slow roasted rib dip with sweet potato fries and could eat only half of it. Others in my party ordered the rib sandwich, cheeseburger, regular fries, and grilled chicken salad. No complaints! Their fries are uniquely yummalicious. They're cut differently...almost like sliced. And they seem air fried but I'm not sure. They have a nice crisp on the edges but are slightly pliable and then sort of melt in your mouth. The regular fries and sweet potato, both. I'm sure to return but only when I can afford the calorie splurge. read more

Had a great mahi burger and fries! The outside seating is great in a beautiful day. My friend had their ribs and said they were delicious and fall off the bone. I definitely want to go back with my family! read more

Ate here in a Friday night with my 2 kids. Overall disappointment given the high ratings and the name. This place hardly qualifies as a BBQ restaurant with few BBQ options other than Ribs & Wings (which they were out of on a Friday night). The Ribs were soggy and over-smothered with sauce and rather unenjoyable. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich was average and the Burger was forgettable. Service was exceptional & ambiance was pleasant. Probabaly won't return though. read more

Most of food was tasty. We had the wings, a burger, sweet potato fries, onion rings, a wedge salad, Mac & cheese, and regular fries. Everything was good except the Mac & Cheese. Definitely not your usual recipe. In fact we chose not to eat it. Their happy hour specials are limited and we had to sit at the bar to take partake. So although we were early we ordered off the regular menu in the main dining room. read more

First time here and it just happen to be in a blizzard. The parking is fairly unique as you need to go around the building to actually park there. The atmosphere is warm and the bar is set up really nicely with a bunch of choices to pour. The menu is small and the food selection looks to be fairly unique. We decided to go with the Diablo double and one of us got regular fries and the other got sweet potato fries. The staff answered our questions and were super friendly, even with an almost full dining room. The burger was cooked perfectly to our desired temps and the toppings were all fresh and the rolls were nice and soft. Will definitely be coming back to try their other burgers on their menu, but I will rank this one of the top burgers in town. read more

My wife found Slab Kitchen on a Google search as we were driving from Columbus home to northern Virginia. What an incredible find!! Amazing barbecue! My wife had the grilled mahi-mahi fish sandwich and I had the barbecue rib sandwich. We both had the sweet potato fries. My wife said the fish was perfect--moist and very tasty. The barbecue in my sandwich may have been the best I've ever tasted. We ordered their pretzels for the road--those were salty and savory--and amazing with the Dijon mustard and cheese sauces that came with them. We highly recommend The Slab Kitchen. On top of all that, our waitress made great suggestions and she was such a nice person! read more

They moved fast to convert the space in downtown Reynoldsburg to a comfortable space with warm furnishing and TVs everywhere. We were promptly seated and thoroughly enjoyed a juicy slab burger with crisp sweet potato fries and a side of slab sauce as well as a tender buffalo chicken sandwich with a side of ranch and crisp warm fries. A delightful experience with attentive service and fun food. read more

Give Slab a try! Great experience all the way around. Indoor/outdoor seating. The food was delicious and the staff is top notch. Our party of 3 had ribs, a burger and their spin on a French dip. The whole staff was attentive and checked in. The kitchen manager even made some additional slaw dressing for one of us. That is going above and beyond! My next trip to Columbus will include Slab! read more

We went there a few weeks ago and I got a club while my husband got a burger. The staff was super friendly and they were very funny. We ordered a side of their sweet potato fries. Excellent first time experience all the way through. Our hostess was so very nice, our waitress was very attentive and fun, we were on the patio which wasn't crowded, great music selection. And the best part? Our food was excellent. I had the grilled cheese and tomato soup (it had a balsamic reduction - which was a really nice touch). My bestie had the slab burger and fries. The burger was so creative with beef, ribs and onions. The fries were also unique and perfect. He loved it all. Someone put a lot thought and love in these dishes. Great experience all around and we will be back!! read more

Decided to hit up SLAB at 7360 East Main Street in Reynoldsburg. I was greeted by Bryan and Terron when I entered. I first met them 6 years ago when they had just started a Food Truck. I was seated and my waitress Emily took my order. I ordered the SLAB Burger which is a beef patty, bbq back rib, Havarti cheese, onion straws and SLAB sauce on a Brioche Bun. I also HAD to order the Sweet Potato Fries. It was kind of ironic that my waitress Kia from over a month ago stopped by and said hi. Emily brought my food out. The burger is on a very nice Brioche Bun. All the ingredients worked well together to provide a great flavored sandwich. Of course I have to talk about the freshly made sweet potato fries, you add in the SLAB dipping sauce. OMG!!!! So flavorful of a dipping sauce. On to my server Emily. I was blown away by her. She grew up with the owners. She works a corporate job during the week. She refilled my water numerous times, even when it wasn't necessary and I had to ask why. She related that you never know when you're going to busy, you don't EVER want your customer to be without or waiting for a refill. I can't recommend SLAB enough. It's the food, service and owners that makes this restaurant one of the top places to go in town. Don't miss out, check out the gang at SLAB, you won't be disappointed. read more

Salmon and the creamy lemon sauce on it was wonderful! Nice serving and it was cooked correctly! Also, the French dip was spectacular!

Oh my! The sandwiches are wonderful! The service was so friendly and helpful. Will I be back? You bet! And the desserts were hard decide among. We will be back again and again. read more

The "Slab Kitchen" is not at all what the name suggests. Few barbecue options (essentially just ribs). The pretzel starter was good, probably the only real plus to this location. From the waitress' recommendation I ordered the burger that has rib meat on it. The rib meat was good but the burger itself is cooked to hell. Extremely dry, and very minimal flavor profile. The Mac and Cheese side order was horrendous. Weak flavor and texture, if you are used to quality homemade mac then this will rank extremely low. The drinks were eh at best, nothing bad but nothing special to report. I do not recommend this spot unless it's strictly out of convenience or if flavor and texture aren't your concern. read more

"Amazing food, but terrible service both visits" This was our second time visiting SLAB Kitchen. The first time, our waitress seemed annoyed when we asked for a few minutes to look over the menu -- we explained it was our first time there. Her body language made it clear she didn't want to come back. After she finally took our order (about 10 minutes later), we never saw her again. Other staff members brought our food and refilled our water, and we had to ask someone else for our check after waiting about 15 minutes once we were finished. Despite the poor service, the food was absolutely delicious, so we decided to give it another try and bring our daughter. Unfortunately, we were seated with the same waitress, and the experience was just as disappointing. Once again, the food was amazing, but the service was rude and inattentive -- we had to repeatedly ask for our check, and she never came back to our table. No matter how good the food is, we won't be returning. When customers are spending this kind of money, a little courtesy and attentiveness should come with the meal. read more

Great if you go for lunch I did the first time would have given 5 the food is very good but the 2nd time I go they have no cheese curds or ribs so that's actually half your menu... but food is very good will go again just unfortunate visit the 2nd time read more

The food here was amazing. I had the Rib Dip sandwich with fries and my husband had the BBQ rib sandwich with fries. I absolutely loved my rib dip and fries; the pork was nicely seasoned, and paired well with the cheese and toasted bun. The pork jus was flavorful. The hand cut fries were a cross between potato slices and steak fries and were fantastic. Hubby would have liked more slaw and onion tangles on his BBQ, but enjoyed it still. Only reason for 4 instead of five stars is the inconsistent service. Everyone was wonderfully kind, but it was 10 minutes from seating before we were recognized, another 10 to order drinks, another 15 to order food, and we had to ask to have our server come see us. She admitted she didn't know she had our table. We had to flag down our drinks, as they were unsure who ordered them, and we were offered food that was not ours. Hopefully some of these kinks will be worked out, as the food was truly amazing. I just fear they will lose customers (we saw one couple leave tonight) due to the lack of a solid service plan. read more

O M G. Let's start with the food. We had the wedge salad split. Fresh, well-presented, not over-dressed. Excellent. Then ... the Slab Burger ... husband a burger aficionado. He LOVED IT. Then ... I had the pulled pork sandwich (cannot remember the name) dipped in au jus. It was a perfect dinner after a long drive. Highly recommend. Restaurant founded during COVID. Two great guys and a food truck. You gotta try it! Not kidding. read more

Food was amazing and price was good we spent 75 for 3 people and that's with dessert. Ribs fell off the bone and flavor was amazing.

Our experience at Slab was just okay. The portion sizes were noticeably small. I ordered the Diablo Burger, and unfortunately, it barely covered half of the bun and was overcooked. My husband had the Mahi Mahi sandwich, which was also on the smaller side. Both meals came with fries that were good, but we were surprised to find we were charged separately for them. Our daughter ordered the wings, which were actually a nice size and well-prepared. Service-wise, we didn't see our waitress much, but when we did, she was friendly. What really stood out, though, was how the owner personally greeted every table around us--some more than once--but never acknowledged ours. It left us feeling overlooked and unwelcome. To top it off, when we went to pay, we realized we had been overcharged. The waitress was kind when we pointed it out and corrected the mistake, but no one, including the owner, offered an apology. In fact, one of the owners seemed visibly irritated about having to adjust the bill. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we won't be returning. read more
