Munchies is great!!! The bartenders and managers there are top tier!! Summers is the best, if you are ever there please ask for her. Ashley is also a sweetheart. They are very attentive & make sure you have a great experience. If you are looking for a good sports bar to watch a game and have some good food this is the place to go. Their wings, salads & burgers are the best! As far as drinks, they have a full bar and the bartenders are good mixologists that can whip up something according to your drink of choice and taste buds. I will say the staff here really make the experience. The music was great and even the cooks were personable. I live 6 hrs away but I always look forward to coming to Munchies for an afternoon/evening of sports, fun, laughs, good company, good drinks & good food! PLEASE PLEASE GO VISIT! read more

We saw this place while running errands and decided to pop in. The restaurant looked clean and we were sat immediately. Our server was new, but did a good job overall. All the food came out at once. We started with the zesty bombas which were like fried mashed potatoes and a chipotle sauce. We also got the cheese quesadilla and the fried hangry bird chicken sandwich. It seemed like they were out of quite a few things on the menu, as the first two items I ordered they didn't have. The cheese quesadilla and chicken sandwich were as expected. Overall, a good place for some quick bar food, but they could use a special flare to their food. read more

In Columbus for a softball tournament. We checked in to our hotel the night before and went to this restaurant for dinner. Service was good, food was delicious and we got to watch the Cavs game. They had a full bar and it was a relaxed casual place. I would definitely visit this venue again. read more

Terrible service. When I asked the server about having a drink menu, I was told "we don't have one" Yet, there was a full bar and (I looked later) a drink menu online. I asked a few questions about certain menu items and she knew absolutely nothing. (I served and bartended for 4 years through college and so I am very understanding if I can tell someone is having a bad day ...and I am not a complainer. But this young girl simply did not care.) I still gave her a good tip because I can't help myself but I would never come here again. read more

Good food, decent atmosphere for a weekend lunch. The music was a bit loud for my taste but it is kinda sports bar-esque. Great fried egg burger read more

Not bad, just not great. Got chicken empanadas, chicken quesadillas, and flan. The quesadilla was the best thing. The empanadas were decent, they weren't dry and had good flavor. Would not recommend the flan. The slice was more of a sliver, not a slice. And the taste was barely avg. read more

Went here after being on set with HBO . The entire crew went. Easy to read menu. I ordered the local chicken sandwich. It's was good . It was moist . The sauce had a good flavor also. The fries were cut small and the portion size was on point. I would go back and try it again when I want pub food. read more

Our First Time Eating Here Was Last Night. 8/16/2023 The Overall Ambiance Was Awesome Form The Decor To The Throw Back Jams They Had Playing. My Daughter Treated Me To An Early Birthday Dinner, & I Wasn't Disappointed. Food Was On Point. I Believe Our Server Was AJ. She Was Very Nice & Polite, She Gave Us Space But Also Made Sure We Were Good. Highly Recommend AJ As Your Next Server..! This is from 3 years ago from my google review. The food is really good but... the service... the service is very disappointing! Any time they walk away it will be awhile before you see them again. They don't bring the meals out all at once. For example one person will get their meal and the others get to sit there and watch them pig out. I've been here multiple times and I've never gotten a refill on my drinks. I watched the table behind us wait 15 minutes before they brought their change back. The second table beside us had to get up and get the waiters attention just to get a refill. No silverware on command when sitting down. Plus just to get a table you have to wait awhile... when not even busy! Makes you decide if you wanna come back or not. Update they never gave us our check and we ended up walking up the the front counter to get our bill so we could leave. The waiter is just standing around talking coworkers. To top it off the bill was wrong would not come back! Do not recommend!! read more

I lived in Panama and one of my fond memories were the fresh pork rinds and at the end there was actual pork. I do not know why I thought that is what this was. I did enjoy the chipotle sauce with it, but I will not make this mistake again. If you have seasoned citizens, this is the spot for them. The fried pickles are salty, so stay away from those but the rest is game. Pissed I ordered here when I had other options. read more

I had a birthday party for my wife and they were absolutely great! We had our own VIP section with an awesome server named, Summer. She was attentive and very friendly. I totally recommend this bar as the staff is great , the food is amazing and Sam pours a mean drink! Don't hesitate to stop in for a good time with good people. Thanks again, Summer! read more

I was not lookin for this joint, I jus ran into it and I'm real happy I did. Munchie's is the TRUTH!! I first checked the temperature of the place and it was real cool and and nice inside. This is a spot to watch the game, have dranks and get some of their famous wings. Not those small ones either. I can vouch for the Carolina gold and garlic parm with a side of potato skins (not frozen).......FIRE!!!!!! Hands down my new favorite wings and skins in Columbus. Y'all with thank me for this one so go out there and see for yourself. read more

Last night my husband and I went to Munchies for dinner at 2045 Brice Rd. I was very very disappointed in the place. It says it's a sports bar but tonight I would really question that. There were only 3 TV's that had baseball on and the rest of the TV's had nothing but rap music and video of rap. The videos were appalling. Half dressed women shaking there butts and breast. There were a few videos where it showed 2 black people having sex as rap music played. The music was so loud you couldn't hear the person next to you talk. No mix in music just all rap. The food was good except for the chicken sandwich. My husband said that it was only fair and didn't have much flavor. We will not be back as it is NO LONGER A SPORTS BAR. read more

My husband I were staying in a hotel close to Munchie's prior to moving into our home. After seeing good reviews and seeing they serve empanadas, we thought we'd give them a try. My husband walked there and went to order food. He was informed their cook was on vacation, so they are only serving chicken tenders and fries. What? They only have 1 cook? No wonder the guy was on vacation. And I was so ready for an empanada. read more

I live in Clintonville, so it's a longer drive for food, but it's so worth it! I've dined in and ordered carry-out several times--always tasty and consistent. Especially love their wings (better than Roosters--if you like a spicy lime sauce, Pao Pao is great), empanadas (crust and fillings are spot on!! Definitely not the frozen prepackaged stuff), chicharrones (the freshest I've found in Columbus), potato skins (newer item--classic!), and fries (crunchy the way it should be) just to name some. Also, once all restaurants can re-open again, excited to dine in. Love the interior ambiance and they even have a large private room for group events--will definitely use that in the future! read more

Place is still new, alot of waiters standing around chit chatting. Our waiter did not know what the food taste like. If you want to drink and watch sports a good place to go. Nothing special about the chips and dip, had the cheese sauce, it came out warm not hot wasn't even spicy. Just plain cheese sauce. The garlic wings were pale and needed more sauce. Roosters has nothing to worry about. The sandwiches DO NOT come with a side! $12 is to much just for a sandwich. It was $1.99 to add fries. Daughter had the Bleu burger it tasted good but the bacon overtook the taste. I had the braised beef empanadas the meat needs to be chopped up more. The crust was flaky and came with a spicy dipping sauce. I may come back just to try the tamales. To bad they don't sell the tamales and empanadas individually so you can try different fillings. The tables need salt and pepper shakers instead of individual packets. The booths are a little tight. Had to ask for forks and napkins. Food is served in trays. read more

First of all, I am so very happy that this restaurant was placed in an existing, renovated, establishment -- this side of town, has far too many abandoned buildings. I have eaten here a few times with all but one being carry out; this is the place of choice when I am 'craving bar food' - with this being a higher quality food. The one time I dined in, we had a large party, so getting food was a 'little' slow, but the server was a delight, and on top of everything. The music was on point, and helped our table reconnect (this was a get together post funeral). I have always had a consistently good food. I am at fault for finding something I like, and continue to order it every time -- this would be the case with the jumbo quesadilla. It has been crispy and tasty every time. It is large enough to share as an appetizer, or as a meal with some to take home. I can't really speak to their drinks or most of their menu, but I've heard good things. I am happy with their consistency and offerings -- definitely a recommend. read more

First time going. Stopped in for a couple appetizers and to try this place out. We were the only customers there which was a little strange to me. We were greeted and sat at our table. Our server was a younger gentleman, very polite and prompt. He checked on us throughout and service was great. My opinion, the food was ok. I think there is too much breading on the mozzarella sticks but fries were ok. The restaurant seemed clean and I definitely appreciated that. read more

Oh boy. I've been watching the former Genji's Japanese Steakhouse transformation into Munchie's for over a year with curiosity. They are now open. However I am not entirely sure it is a finished product. The menu is eclectic. They serve both Coke and Pepsi products. My 3 chicken empanadas came with a 4th (not a complaint, just an observation). They had more TVs than customers (24 TVs, to 10 customers). I eventually figured out how to get in the parking lot from an always busy Brice (Channingway to the back of their lot seems the best bet.) Prices are very reasonable. The alcohol variety seems extensive as well. The guacamole was heavenly as a side. They'll figure this out, but hopefully it is soon enough to draw a crowd. read more

Well let me say that I am fuming.....I am disabled and use a service dog to assist me with my disabilities. If you know anything about service dogs you know that a true one is behaved, non intrusive, and are allowed access to anywhere the general public is allowed. It is federal law that a handler be allowed access to anywhere the public is allowed. Well today, 3/24/21 at 12:47 pm, my two grandsons, myself and my service dog entered this establishment. The hostess pled at us twice and then fumbled with some paperwork. She then looked at me and stated that they do not allow service dogs as they are not set up for it. Service dogs do not require anything from the establishment. Basically we want you to ignore our medical equipment as we enjoy our meal. I explained to her that he was breaking federal law. She didn't care. What is aggravating is that if I was in a wheel chair I could have been served however since my medical equipment is a service dog I am discriminated against. I would recommend spending your money at establishments that are all inclusive and do not violate federal law! read more

Great service. Loved our bartender. Had to go back a second night. Great drinks and food! Will go back next time in town!

I have been to Munchies several times for food and drinks. This time I had to write a review because this dish was not up to par for $15. I ordered the tilapia shrimp. The tilapia was blackened as mentioned in the menu but I figured for the price, I would have received 2 pieces of fish since the shrimp were less than bite size. The parmesean sauce that they put on the side had no flavor nor was it hot. Seemed as though it was out the jar. We also ordered naked wings meaning no batter. The bartender made sure of that when she sent the order to the kitchen. Whelp we ended up with breaded chicken. Thankfully they removed from our bill. I was starving so I ate my salad and fish but not that sauce. I will stick to my usual chicken empinadas..lol read more

My sister and I were in town for a concert. Not many people there as they just recently opened for the day. We were sat and who we thought was a server came over and grab our drink order. My sister went to the bathroom and he came back asking what vodka we would like. He himself made the drink even though there was a bar tender who seemed no to be doing anything except watching tv and talking to the few customers at the bar. We ordered the Sweet Chili wings when we got our drinks, which were ON POINT! We then ordered our food (burger and fries and ribs with mac&cheese). The wings were PERFECT and CRISPY!! I loved the wings! This is how wings should be!! When we got our meals, again everything was on POINT! When restaurants advertise 'Fall of the bone Ribs' they better be falling off the bone, and these WERE! These were amazing and I'm LOVE my Ribs! These are so much better then chains. I tried my sisters fries and burger and those were amazing as well. 2 thumbs up. Archie the GM was the one who took care of us. This is totally awesome place to go! read more

Good was delicious I ordered the lemon pepper wings with side munchies hot sauce, fries, potato skins, mambas. Fresh cooked and prepared exactly how I asked. Overwhelming smell of marijuana in the air. Made us all nausea. Salad sat in water. Food fried to hard and had no taste. Disappointment.

I ordered ahead and decided to stay and eat. My salad was ready do I started on that with an ice cold draft beer. Cobb photo on web site is deceiving as it does Not include chicken, otherwise it was a nice size for me and two containers of real blue cheese dressing was a nice surprise. One hard boiled egg (not eggs as it states in menu). Wings arrived in a timely manner and they were large flavorful, meaty and hot temperature! I was treated like a king as I sat at the bar and was pleased to learn that they have live music on Friday and Saturday nights! So, I sat and listened until their first set was over! This location is easily accessible from I 70 on Brice road, plenty of free parking! Clean restaurant and restrooms. I will be back . Also learned they have breakfast available now. read more

Stopped while passing through the area. At first, I really didn't have high expectations but they definitely exceeded them. I had the boneless wings with lemon pepper sauce, thinking it would be similar to some bigger wing joints. I was blown away with them. They came out hot and delicious. The breading was just right and crisp. The sauce was amazing and just right for the wings. Definitely a good place to stop for a sports bar. Friendly staff and good eats. read more

I'm not understanding why any negative reviews for this place. Came here with my parents and we ordered wings, chicken sandwiches and burgers. Everything delivered to the table was FRESH AND DELICIOUS! Literally all of it! The waiter was so friendly and got all our specialty ordered items correct.
