This is the 3rd time we have reserved your party room. First, kudos to Zach Grimes who took care of all of us. Our group loved that he graduated from our same high school; us 1969, Zach 2022. You are very lucky to have him. The pizza was wonderful but the verdict is still out on the subs. Some guest thought the buns were dry and wished there were some sauces available to put on their sub. Came here for Father's Day breakfast, was warned that it would take 10 mins to get to use and we were patient. We had an 8 top so we knew the food would take a longer. Well, 2-3 times we were told the food would take another 10-15 minutes. After two hours, we were told that nothing had even been made. Disappointing to know that we were lied to about that wait time. Our first visit to Flanagans in over three years. Disappointing. Out party of four shouldn't have phased anyone, yet there was a small struggle with the simple stuff. Burned cheese sticks, plus wraps, nuggets and fries were overcooked and a couple sent back. What followed was a half hour wait. I didn't mind much since I was enjoying the cocktails and the company. I was impressed by how the server tried to pacify the patrons that the inexperienced chef had aggravated. The poor excuse for a manager couldn't be found. That's not good. Regardless, it's my policy to try back again and hope to report a better result. In the meantime, we won't be bringing friends or folks we want to impress here. 08/24 read more

Last Friday around 6 PM, I stopped by to place a takeout order. The restaurant was somewhat busy but not overwhelming. I sat at the bar, where several servers and bartenders were moving back and forth. Over the course of five minutes, at least four employees walked directly past me--some even in front of me behind the bar--without so much as a greeting or acknowledgment. After being completely ignored, I decided to leave and went to Gatsby's instead. There, I was greeted immediately, had a beer within two minutes, and placed my order within five. This isn't the first disappointing experience I've had here. The last time I dined in, the food was just average, and it's clear the overall quality has declined over the past couple of years. While I understand many restaurants are struggling to balance costs with quality ingredients, poor service on top of mediocre food makes it impossible to recommend this place. Sadly, this establishment no longer seems to deserve a place in the restaurant business. read more

1st time guest, thought I'd come check it out after I read the reviews. Upon entering went to the bar and the bar maid didn't acknowledge me as I entered or after she walked passed me, ordered a couple beers and waited until the lunch menu was available, ordered a club sandwich and took 20 mins for me to receive my sandwich and did not get asked for a refill with my drink until I was finished with the meal. My wife and I and a friend took a table for food and drinks. We got attention shortly after getting there. We ordered our drinks and the lone girl working stayed behind the bar entertaining numerous sitting at the bar. We had finished our drinks and was never asked about more drinks. We got her attention and she took care of us but then we never saw her at the end of those drinks. We decided to get our bills and never got attention till i went and sat at the bar. Terrible service. Older blonde lady was by herself and couldn't get to the tables to we moved to the bar. She got snippy asking where we were sitting since we decided to move closer to make her life easier. Nope, she took that as some power move and ignored us. Guess you don't need money! We were looking for something different for brunch after church... We have driven by Flanagan's pub thousands of times over the years but never stopped in. Now we wish we would have figured this out earlier. Their service was spot on... Their brunch menu was really good. The food was terrific. I love this place, but I have to qualify that my family rents a private room for special occasions and that's the only time I have been there. That said, they always treat us fabulously, which is why we always come back. The back room has a private bar, and our experience is always equipped with atleast two very attentive bartenders, who are even willing to make you whatever drink recipe you can dream up or find on google. Last time I ordered a Marilyn Monroe, and the bartender had never made it, but he was awesome and did it for me anyway. I believe his name was Jack? He rules. And so did the other guy, red hair. Kudos for great service. Additionally, they provide a catering setup for us which always has hot delicious pizza stocked and ready. The wings are great too. Either that, or we also order from the menu. The fish sandwich is good, and so is the spinach salad! I'm sure I'll be back again some time later this year or next for another family function and I am already looking forward to it! read more

It was great. Came right at the start of lunch on a Saturday. Had a few beers on tap with the misses while we waited for a pizza and loaded fries (a great suggestion from the waitress). It was nice and peaceful on the patio. Definitely enjoyed a delicious pepperoni, banana pepper and pineapple pizza. Didn't take long for the food to come out and the customer service was great. I'm actually surprised I haven't done a review on this AMAZING pub. I've been to Flanagan's Pub about five times and it's never been shy of fantastic. I highly recommend their Ruben as the corned beef is cooked to perfection and just overall the best one I've had in Columbus. I've had other things on the menu as well but nothing compares. I recommend trading out the chips for French fries. I've also had a handful of appetizers from the pub during a night of drinking and there's really nothing that isn't good. Breakfast review. So much of what I see is food brought in from restaurant supplier. Now granted I have not tried many items, but a server even told me about some items I questioned on the menu. Doesn't mean the food is bad. If anything it's consistent. For example there is 2 choices of GFS sausage gravy available, and one is bland, while the other is much better than the homemade gravy many restaurants brag about. After just having an Irish Breakfast Shot the other day, I inquired if it was the same. "Yes, but we're out of Jamesons, so it's Makers Mark". Hmmm. I've tried the biscuits & gravy, breakfast burrito, pancakes, and today the country fried steak. All are OK. Pancakes were a bit chewy from over mixing. The bacon is the best thing going. Lots and crispy. On each visit there was a good turnout. Not overwhelming to the staff or kitchen. Most are regulars that hollar out by name. That's a good reason for a pub to open it's doors early enough to serve breakfast. All the tables are high tops since years ago when they had booths. Good luck to anyone in a wheelchair, looking up at everyone eating. A small stage for a single performer is at one end. A jukebox competes with all the TV's. This is a Cleveland Browns fan hangout. Ammenities include a rather large side room with regular height tables and another bar. Great for private parties. Moving on to the back is a large patio. Past the 6' privacy fence is a line of tall trees that looks better than concrete buildings. The street traffic is drowned out by the music or live band on the bandstand. A center island bar is surrounded by a sea of plastic resin patio furniture with distillery branded umbrellas for shade. All of this setting is adorned with a rooftop mannequin that peers over. Alcohol and lunch or dinner menu is now on my radar. I noticed a daily lunch specials chalkboard on the way out. These items looked more along the lines of homemade. read more

Great Tuna Melt. Burgers are always good. Pretzel bites are a must order. Sometime service is slow, but always great staff.
