The food was amazing, especially the ranch dressing WOW! Service left a little to be desired. We ordered a Jameson Orange and soda. What came was Jameson orange juice and soda. While we are on the topic of drinks our friends ordered margaritas... the drinks tasted like the mix was a concentrate and hadn't been diluted. Their faces almost turned inside out from the sourness. The acoustics in the restaurant make even the quietest table seem loud. It was crowded so it was so loud we couldn't hear each other from across the table. I stopped in for Burger Wednesday and ordered the double smash burger with fries. Food: The burger was flavorful and seasoned really well without being overly salty. The toppings were fresh, the grilled onions added great flavor, and the bun stayed soft without getting soggy while I ate. The fries were crispy, perfectly seasoned, and the portion was huge--there were more fries than I could finish. They were so good I didn't even need ketchup. Service: I sat at the bar, and the service was excellent. The waitress was friendly, prompt, and attentive throughout my visit. At one point, while the bartender was helping other customers, she noticed I needed napkins and brought them over without me having to ask. It's little things like that that make a difference. Atmosphere: The ambiance was really nice. There were TVs throughout the restaurant, making it a great place to relax and catch a game. They also have outdoor seating available, although I chose to sit inside. The atmosphere was comfortable, welcoming, and somewhere I could easily see myself returning. The burger was cooked a little more medium than I personally prefer, but that's on me because I didn't ask for it to be cooked well done. The burger was still juicy and flavorful. I have been a regular at Red Brick since before the old owner closed Easy Street and blended the two menus. It had Ok food, but was great to watch sports with people. It has been under new ownership for quite awhile now and the menu is significantly better. I like it better and enjoy the selections. Good beer on tap options Good bar/restaurant food options! I like their smoked wings, pizza, fries, salad, the Muzak-a was good, and the smash burger was good! The interior hasn't changed but the patio has a bit - way better service than before. It was my first time here and I was a bit thrown because it's in a neighborhood. There's not a lot of parking but there's is street parking available. It's a small and cozy place to watch sports and have some good food. We shared an Artichoke Dip and it was made fresh and hot. The pits was delicious and the dip was even better. I got the Pork Sandwich and it was delicious. The flavor was good and it comes with loads of fries. The fries came a bit soggy but overall, it was pretty good. Overall the meal was made well and tasted pretty good! The prices were pretty good too, not too over the top. Staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. Our server was nice but kept forgetting some of our items. I think they have created a very homey and cozy atmosphere. The room was pretty loud on a big sports day and people were having fun. I would recommend Red Brick if you want some good food and a lively atmosphere. All the meat dishes are dry and salty beyond reason, and I even worked for several years at various restaurants, and if I say something is too salty, that's a problem. The Reuben was the worst I've had in years. It's a great place for a quick happy hour and appetizer but you'll be disappointed with a full meal here. Not to mention the concept is confusing. I had heard about the gyro rolls, and I had a bit of time so I stopped in. Sort of in the middle of a neighborhood off High. Pleasant neighborhood bar and grill. Very comfortable and nicely decorated inside, with movie and music. Super good service from bartender, even though she was helping half a dozen seated at the bar. Interesting menu, with lots of standard bar food, but seems to be taken up a notch. I got the gyro rolls, which say spicy, but really aren't, and the wilted spinach. Wilted spinach? I don't know, it seemed slightly healthy, and it's a bit nostalgic for me. And it was very good, although I doubt it is very popular. The gyro rolls were like skinny spring rolls. Meat inside, nice crispy crust, a little sauce/salad with tomatoes and veggies in the middle to dip them in. Both small plates combined to a nice, fairly light lunch. We found this place on Apple Maps because we were in the area with friends. We walked up to the door and almost turned around because it was so incredibly crowded. One of the employees (I assume the owner) saw us hesitate and insisted we take a look at their back patio. They also feature 30 different kinds of beers on tap ~ All pizzas are made fresh and crafted on a hand-tossed dough, so it takes about 25-30 minutes to be ready~ The crust was really good! GREAT food, hospitable and friendly service, and a large, awesome beer selection! A friend and I were in town for a concert and wanted a place to hang out on a patio one night to have dinner and to linger and relax over drinks. We picked the perfect place! We loved the ambiance and the knowledgeable, friendly staff. The bar manager suggested some great beers that I really enjoyed. Our server was quick-witted and made us laugh. We also had a chance to talk to the chef that night and he really knows food! Very personable, talented guy! I wanted to order everything, but settled on the lobster grilled cheese and I was definitely not disappointed. It was yummazing! Already thinking about what to order next time I'm back in town. Hahaha. I've also sought out one of the excellent beer recommendations back home. The Red Brick Tap & Grill is on my list of places to be sure to revisit next time I'm in Columbus! I want to start out that I really wanted to love this place. It is so cool inside, the owners seem nice and it is a lovely neighborhood hangout bar and grille. I first tried the Puttanesca pasta. It was so overdone that it kind of gave my a sour smirk. Too briny, even though it's supposed to have that flavor, and well, just overdone. The portions at this restaurant are a good size but size doesn't make up for quality. The panini was neither a panini or made in a panini maker. The artichoke and chicken sandwich again, so overdone. The "cheese blend" on the sandwich seemed to be a mixture of mayo and cream cheese and way too much of it. I also had the smash burger with fries. The fries were good. I stopped there but would love to go back for the brunch and try something else. I just feel that the cook probably didn't know their stuff. Again, I want to love this place. I absolutely love red brick and used to frequent it all the time. With the weather getting warmer, I decided to check back in since it had been a while. First off, NEW brunch menu. Served Saturdays and Sundays till 3:00pm, it has a variety of different combinations of eggs, meats, and veggies for you to choose from. I ordered the Greek Pita, which was a Greek Gyro with scrambled egg. I loved it! It was so delicious and for only $7 you can't beat it. Served on the side were potatoes which were crispy and also delicious! Our server was also friendly. She made sure to come check on us when she noticed our drinks were low and made sure to update us in the status of our food. She was a very sweet young girl. I tried a couple cocktails from their brunch menu as well which again, is very reasonably priced! I ordered the Brick House Coffee and the Pineapple Mint-Mosa. The coffee cocktail was warm after walking around the villages and I loved the spicy aftertaste in the mimosa. My date had mentioned making this brunch a tradition since the food is amazing and the prices cannot be beat! Came in on a Wednesday evening for dinner. Service was fast and friendly, food was good. Started with the crispy Brussel sprouts, which were outstanding! For dinner I had the New Orleans Spicy Pasta. It was very rich and yummy, but not very spicy. Came with a side salad that was nothing to brag about. Daughter had the burger and fries. Both were very good and the burger was cooked to a medium well spot on. A couple of issues, she had asked for curly fries, got straight fries, but then they caught their mistake and brought out the curly fries half way through dinner. That was about they same time they brought out our pretzel appetizer, which I would have expected with the sprouts. The pretzel was actually very good. Piping hot with parmesan and a side of marinara...which was COLD. Not the first time I've seen this happen, but what makes people think dipping a hot pretzel in cold marinara is a good thing? Regardless, overall the food was good and the service reasonably fast. A couple of the tables by me got the Oompa Cheese as an app. When the one 2 tables away was lit, I felt the heat on my face! Went here for brunch one Sunday after seeing it on Good Day Columbus. They have an excellent French toast casserole! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Parking could be an issue as it's right on the edge of Merion Village and German Village. The decor was really neat and I walked around to see the different pictures on the walls. Not sure if the server was new or what, my wife ordered an omlette and the menu said it came with sourdough toast. There was no toast when she brought it out and my wife asked for the toast. Let's start off by talking about the food here. Their menu would be the envy of many restaurants in town. There's American, Italian and Greek here with pizza, burgers, sandwiches, calzones, gyros, appetizers and quite a few salads up for offer. I can tell you that I've never had anything that wasn't at least good and I've tried a lot of it. Whatever you do, you need to try their happy hour (M-F from 3p-7p) which is one of the best in the Capital City. My favorite is the Thursday pizza special. A 16" cheese pizza will only set you back $10 and it's a good pie too. Want extra toppings? $1 each. For those of you that are Brunchies types, Sunday boasts a great brunch that is also one of the best in the area. Are you looking for some adult beverages? They have a full bar and can make you most anything you want cocktail wise. The wine selection is pretty dull but they more than make up for it with their beer selection. They have an interesting, ever changing draft beer rotation on their board and it's got a lot of local brews that will tempt you. Not sure of what to get? Ask for a sample or two. They're always glad to help you make a good choice. It's one of my favorite hangouts in town. You'll find yourself sitting with a lot of regulars, locals that call this place their home base for food and drinks. So sit inside or outside on either one of their two patios and relax and enjoy. Just go there and you'll see what I mean that this place is worth visiting. I'm giving them 4 stars and a recommendation for you to try them out. I've only been here twice but I definitely could see myself becoming a regular. First of all, I love the ambience. There's an old school diner feel to this establishment and it is chock full of fun photos and items of history on the walls for you to look at. There is plenty of seating and they also have a great outdoor patio with a fire pit! Parking can be tricky but there is usually something available close by and the area doesn't have meters or require parking passes yet, so there's that. A lot of the items on the menu are Greek inspired. I went with the gyro and it was so good. I also had the lemon chicken orzo and it was divine. I will always order that, no matter what, because it is SO good. The service is excellent. On my most recent visit, it was a Friday night and the place was packed. Our server, I believe his name was Nick, was in top of it. He checked on us regularly and made sure we had everything we could need or want. They moved and became Red Brick, I still came regularly until Covid hit. Recently I started venturing back out and back to one of my favorite places. Last couple of weeks it's been fine. This week, a different story. They charged me $4.00 extra for ice. It's never happened before, and when I questioned it, the explanation was you get more. I'm pretty sure the Dudes around me he was hamming it up weren't charged extra for ice. I wasn't asking for more, I was asking for my shot to be chilled. Pizza & Beef Week!! I had been told a few times that I needed to check out Red Brick because they have good pizza, and had just never really gotten around to it. So when I found out that they were participating in Pizza & Beef Week I figured this would be the perfect time. And let me say that they blew my expectations out of the water. This was probably the best pizza I've had all year! I ordered the Spartan: garlic oil base with pepperoni strips, salami, ham, pepperoncinis, red onions, spinach, kalmata olives, feta, mozzarella, and provolone cheese. And let me tell you this pizza 'Spartan Kicked' my taste buds to the promise land! & for only $10!!! The staff were great, we arrived around 5:30pm so we sat at the bar, and at one point the chef came out to check on us and see how everything was. Found this place online and it seemed like a nice place to have lunch. Was seated and waitress brought me a menu and a water...then she seemed to have forgotten I was even there. Another waiter and the bartender looked at me, and no acknowledgement or to see i had been helped yet. I almost called their phone number to place my order over the phone to eat it there. I finally got up and went to that bar and asked if I could eat at the bar. That was a yes so, I sat there and ordered a calzone and a beer. Several minutes later the waitress came up to me apologized for not waiting on me. I smiled at her. Food arrived at the calzone was delicious. Beer was delicious too. Asked for the check and gave the bartender a $50 for a 28.50 check. He returned with $13.00 - short changed me so I had to ask him for the balance. He apologized - guess he had a brain fart or something. He came back with the correct amount, and I left. I think if they staff had spent less time on their phones and more time paying attention to customers, it would have been a better experience. If I am ever in Columbus again, I would go back as the food was good. Service, not so much. read more

We started out with the pretzel and beer cheese very good. I had these Zauber Holiday Ale and my man had the Four Strings Payback Pilsner. I built my own burger. My burger had two large portobello mushrooms with caramelized onions and provolone. It was very good the only drawback was I didn't know I was going to get charged for the toppings. My man got the Cuban sandwich with jalapeno slaw. He liked it pretty good but he said it wasn't the best he's ever had though. Have been back since, with another Groupon of course. I took my mother here and waited 45 minutes for water/beer on the patio - our order was taken and we never saw our server again. After 45 minutes without service we decided to leave and explained the situation; our server apologized and we offered to sit inside if that was easier. They agreed so we sat down again, but rather than grabbing the drinks/water we had ordered 45 minutes prior they went to visit other tables instead. We waited an additional 5 minutes inside before giving up completely and leaving. Several other servers passed by our table during our wait inside and out without acknowledging us. I have never posted a review of a restaurant, but this is absolutely the worst service I have ever had and I am truly embarrassed for trying to take my mother here.
