TL/DR Great food but rude server and very loud atmosphere. We had a reservation for 5:45 for a party of 7. There is literally no where to stand while you wait for your table...and wait we did. We were shown to our table at 6:10. The hostess told us they had a party of 30 and party of 40, so we tried to be understanding but also-they accepted the reservations-so kind of on them. Our server had an attitude from the moment she approached our table. She was waiting on one of the parties, but still... We were sitting in the back room and it was LOUD. Like couldn't hear other people at our own table loud. We had an older person in our party and when we asked our server to come to the other side of the table so he could hear her, she didn't-so she ended up misunderstanding and bringing him the wrong drink. There was a guy who we *think* may have been a manager hanging around, but he never did a table touch, so hard to tell. We had questions because gluten free food is offered but not marked on the menu or online, it said ask your server. She was annoyed but we have allergies so...I will say they have really good gluten free options; however when we reconfirmed that she had gotten the gluten free bun she was annoyed again. The only reason I gave 2 stars (the one redeeming quality) was the food. It was all excellent and cooked perfectly. The server didn't come back to check how things tasted-but someone in our party flagged her down to get lemon wedges for her seafood pasta. The waitress literally rolled her eyes, grabbed lemons wedges from the bar and brought them in a cup that she slammed down and walked away without a word. We ordered dessert because we were there to celebrate a birthday. Before dessert came, our server cashed us all out. This is what put me over the edge: WHILE WE WERE STILL EATING she slammed down a reserved sign. When we started standing up, she picked it up. Most restaurants allow for 90 minutes for reservations to turn a table. We were only at the table for 70, so we totally weren't lingering. I might give this place another try because the food was so good, but because of this experience, I'd definitely think twice. read more

We were on this side of town for an appointment and decided to have lunch here because of the good reviews. It was a great choice. It was confusing when we first walked in because we weren't sure if we should seat ourselves. It was lunch hour on a Friday, and it was quite busy. The booths are huge for a group, and the tables are high tops. There is outdoor seating, but because of the air quality due to the Canadian forest fires, we chose to sit at the bar. We had an excellent server, Mack, and she was the bartender for the restaurant. They had a nice variety on the menu. We both chose pizza because the person sitting beside us had one, and it looked good! They are wood-burned with a thin crust. It wasn't so delicate that it felt limp when you picked up a piece. He got the pepperoni & sausage, and I got the Truffled Portobello Pizza Roasted portobello with caramelized onion, mozzarella, provolone, goat cheese, arugula salad, truffle oil. They both were very good and had leftovers to take home for dinner. I liked that the mushrooms tasted fresh, not from a can, and the truffle oil was nice versus just plain olive oil. It was very clean, including the bathrooms. It is a sports bar, but not all the TV's were tuned into sports (which we appreciated). Hubby has tried this place many times, but it was my first time. I liked the feel of the inside-very locally owned vibe and a great place to watch some sports and get a bite. They have a huge mosaic stone pizza oven. We sat at the bar. I got the fish tacos with Brussel sprouts and hubs got the chicken sandwich. Everything tasted really fresh, but unfortunately lacked a bit of seasoning across the meal. My Brussels could have used salt, hubs sandwich needed some more spice or aioli. My fish tacos were good, but nothing super special. I would come back, but would try the pizza or one of the salads instead. Every time I've been here this place has had an excellent crowd. The staff is always helpful and comes by just enough to keep your drinks full and bring you anything else you need. They have a good selection of beers on tap. Has a various crowd from kids to older people in here. It's a very laid-back vibe in this establishment. The food is definitely good. The server first of all was very pleasant and informative. We had a group of 6 and he did well with the orders . The food was amazing I had the lamb shank it literally did fall off the bones . My friends had steak loved it one had crab cakes and a few had the fish and chips ! Everyone was pleased with their meals and sides . It was very crowded when we went but they do take reservations and so our wait was only 20 minutes or so. We sat at the bar which I prefer because you get to see all the action in my opinion. Our bartender was very nice and we got our drink orders in fast. I started with the special drinks- Kentucky Bourbon Mocha and later had a Tiramisu Martini. Both were delicious. The food was delicious, and we didn't want for anything the entire time. We had the mussels which was a ton of food, the picture shows we had already tore them up haha. The tacos were so yummy and fresh, and I LOVED the filet and friend green tomatoes. The green beans and mash were not bad but could have used a bit more seasoning for my tastes but I know they are making food for a lot of different tastes.
