The tavern is housed in a historic building that is over 100 years old. The building itself was worth the trip. The food, however, was the real highlight. I had an exceptionally good Shepherds Pie while my wife enjoyed the Irish Kettle dinner that came with corned beef, bangers, rashers. Cabbage, and potatoes cooked in a Guinness based broth. It was outstanding. Service was very good. It was a delightful evening.

The place is airliner themed m, which is fun. There's a sort of diorama behind the bar of a plane flying over mountains, airplane window diagrams, and they give you "flight snacks" when you order a flight! Fun! They're part of the Seventh Son Brewing group and they have their own beers as well as some from Seventh Son and Antiques on High. The getaway beers were lower in abv and tended to be lagers and pilsners, although they had a delicious porter on tap - all roasty and bitter chocolate. Food was great! I had baked wings and Neapolitan style pizza. The wings were seasoned really well and not mushy, as can happen with baked wings. The pizza has a nice chewy crust and tasty toppings. They also have a Detroit style. Bartenders were friendly and helpful. Attentive but not intrusive. Great experience!

The bartender was very responsive and friendly, which definitely helped. Service was solid throughout our visit. The menu is extremely limited. It leans into an Irish pub feel, but without a kitchen that really supports that theme. Food options are basically pizzas and sandwiches. I had the Italian sub, which they panini pressed, and it was actually quite good. Crispy, hot, and better than expected for a bar sandwich. Overall, it is a decent place to grab a drink and something simple to eat, but the limited menu and unrealized Irish pub vibe hold it back from being more than a three star spot.

I chose a red beer that was amazing, but apparently not amazing enough for me to remember the name of it. They also have fancy craft cocktails (like a spiced pear margarita) and wine. Tonight was a perfect example of the food being exceptional in the service just being OK. I sat at a very empty bar with two bartenders and if I needed anything, I had to flag them down or tell them I needed another drink. They seemed more interested in talking to other staff members, and I could tell that a few other others around the bar were also feeling a little neglected. Both were very friendly, and overall the experience wasn't horrible, and the food quality makes up for any feeling of lower than expectations when it comes to Service.

Not too sure when I'll be coming back to this location. My adult son chose this restaurant for his…read morebirthday meal with family because he enjoyed it when he was younger. Somehow it just wasn't quite the same. First, I don't understand the staffing as there was three young hostesses, plus the manager at the front and even with a reservation we still had to wait for a table. And quite frankly, only the manager and one of the hostesses were doing any work. The other one was drinking from her water bottle and chatting with the third one. Also, we sat at our table for a good 10 minutes before I could snag one ofthe hostesses and ask where our server was. The server quickly came over and apologized as she was told our table was part of a birthday group that was inside the party room. How that happened I'm not sure?? The burgers were good as was the shrimp scampi- which was spicy-but sadly the buffalo chicken sandwich and wings were over cooked. Just not an overall good time.
