    Single burger with steak fries

Happened to be in the grove city area with a friend so we went with the reviews and decided to give it a try before heading back to Dublin. We got burgers and they were awesome!!! Both bartenders are so nice, quick and made us feel at home. Crowd seems local and they are all nice as well. The band was playing some nice music too. We were impressed and will definitely go back!

Decided to go off the beaten path to Burnzie's Old Trail Inn. It was a part of history starting out in 1947 as Old Trail Inn. Then the original owner passed away in 2007 and the new owner moved it to it's present location on S. Grener Road. This is your old time neighborhood bar. Everyone new everyone else. We had gone in for the Prime Rib special that is listed to start at 4 but the time has been changed to 5. No big deal, decided to go ahead and ordered T-Bone steak with Baked Potato and salad and a roll. The salad was small in my opinion but the French dressing was okay. The baked potato was satisfactory but I was hoping that the skin would have had a little substance to it. Now for the steak, had high hopes for it but yet another let down. It was cooked medium but the steak had a large amount of fat and gristle, making it very tough. Server was nice enough but there are other things to work on here. They do do breakfast all day so maybe that would be the route to take.

Burnzies is legit. Cheap drinks, $2 beers during happy hour, and they have the best wings in Columbus. They open at 8 AM and serve their full menu all day for those times when you need a shot and hot wings for breakfast.

Ps. Try Mac & Cheese bites smothered in sausage gravy... you'll never turn back. Introducing: the Em Blaster

A bunch of the nurses that I work with go here after a rough shift and it is always a blast! We are welcomed with warm arms, delicious drinks, and absolutely yummy food!! No matter what you get, it's all soooo good. And the Bloody Mary's cannot be best!! Such great customer service, and always a solid smile!

Always on the hunt for a good breakfast and I remembered this place from about a year ago. It was just as good as the first time! It's your typical dive bar, which are my favorite kind of bars :) The staff is friendly, the food is good and the prices are right. Definitely a hidden gem! If you're in the area, I recommend a stop. I'll definitely be returning.

Burnzie's is one of those secret dives that nobody tells you about, and locals try to keep on the down low. From the outside it looks like a scary dive/biker bar that Pee Wee Herman could not even escape unscathed from, but in reality-- It's just a regular local hang out serving up nice delicious kitchen eats. Burnzies is your typical dive bar-- Old, aged, dimly lit, and the same old daily patrons still hobble in and out to cure their hangovers and feed their habits. There's a few tables, but for most part it's high tops and the bar. Breakfast is the time to be here and when Waffle House up the road is touting wait times, this is just as good of an alternative. The barkeep is salty, stone faced, but slightly pleasant like a tough love mama kind of way. She made certain we were taken care of. The food here is your typical breakfast offerings like other places. Bacon, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns, etc. The big breakfast that many were ordering is the Prime Rib Breakfast - on their specials board. A HUGE prime rib steak with eggs and hashbrowns. It's A LOT of food. Enough to sustain you even well past lunch time, or enough to even split with a compadre, but it was delicious. There's really no frills to Burnzies. There's no magic hipstery gimmicks, no rosemary mayos, not a drop of sriracha to be found, but they keep to their old school, America ways and the prices aren't too terrible, either. A lot are touting the burgers on here. I have yet to judge, but it's certainly on my bucket list. Burnzie's still will remain on my radar for divey American eats. I'm a fan.

Top 5 Wing Spot Alert -- Galloway Tavern…read more Let's get straight to it: if you're serious about wings, Galloway Tavern belongs on your list. I've been on a personal tour of Columbus wing joints, and this spot has easily earned a Top 5 ranking. I came here on a tip from my brother and his friend who swore the wings were "worth the drive." And I mean deep West Side drive. If you're not from the area, I'll be real -- the vibe at first glance might throw you. It's the kind of place you second-guess from the parking lot. But walk in, sit down, and give it five minutes -- because it turns out to be one of the most welcoming and cool little bar spots around. I ordered the Hot Garlic Wings (6 count) and they were outstanding. Crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and seasoned before being sauced -- a detail more places need to get right. Flavor was bold without being overpowering, and they came out fresh, not rushed. I'm already planning a return for the Carolina Gold or Sweet Chili. They keep it straightforward with drinks -- bottled Pepsi products and water. No fuss, just the basics. Atmosphere -wise, it's very much a West Side bar -- local energy, regulars at the counter, music low enough to talk over. The people were kind, the staff was attentive, and once inside, it feels easygoing and familiar. It's the kind of spot where someone might compliment your glasses or say little to nothing at all -- totally unexpected, totally sincere. First-Timer Notes: * Wings are the move. Start with Hot Garlic. * Don't judge the book by the cover -- inside is chill, safe, and welcoming. * Beverage options are bottled and simple. * There's a front and rear entrance -- the rear might not have the "open" light on, but it's good to go. * Parking is fairly easy.

Okay, I honestly love this bar…read more I went for the first time to visit a friend for his birthday. This is his regular bar and it was honestly like Cheers or something. The bartender knew them all and was just the sweetest guy. (He also was an older straight man, as far as I know, but was totally comfortable flirting back and forth with my male friend all night. It was really just . . . comforting.) They have a patio that's pretty large and open air. Yes, there will be people outside smoking, but it's not enclosed so you may be able to sit further away from people and not be too bothered. The inside seemed to have plenty of seating. Were there pool tables? I can't honestly remember. I was drinking. The drinks! They had a lot of liquor varieties. I don't know what their beer menu looked like, but I was able to have a few rounds of a mid-level reposado tequila (not Cuervo) and buy my friend a drink for about $20. I was floooooored and left a good tip. The bartender also had come out several times to bring us drinks on the patio (!) and empty everyone's ashtrays. He had a good rapport with many of the customers, I could tell. It's a dive bar in the best way--where the drinks are cheap but good, the atmosphere is chill, and everyone will eventually know your name.
