I love this place, it was karaoke night, so it was a packed house but not too packed! I enjoyed the vibe, staff, & people. Everyone was friendly and having a good time with those that sang! This is a very clean establishment. read more

Top 5 Wing Spot Alert -- Galloway Tavern Let's get straight to it: if you're serious about wings, Galloway Tavern belongs on your list. I've been on a personal tour of Columbus wing joints, and this spot has easily earned a Top 5 ranking. I came here on a tip from my brother and his friend who swore the wings were "worth the drive." And I mean deep West Side drive. If you're not from the area, I'll be real -- the vibe at first glance might throw you. It's the kind of place you second-guess from the parking lot. But walk in, sit down, and give it five minutes -- because it turns out to be one of the most welcoming and cool little bar spots around. I ordered the Hot Garlic Wings (6 count) and they were outstanding. Crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and seasoned before being sauced -- a detail more places need to get right. Flavor was bold without being overpowering, and they came out fresh, not rushed. I'm already planning a return for the Carolina Gold or Sweet Chili. They keep it straightforward with drinks -- bottled Pepsi products and water. No fuss, just the basics. Atmosphere -wise, it's very much a West Side bar -- local energy, regulars at the counter, music low enough to talk over. The people were kind, the staff was attentive, and once inside, it feels easygoing and familiar. It's the kind of spot where someone might compliment your glasses or say little to nothing at all -- totally unexpected, totally sincere. First-Timer Notes: * Wings are the move. Start with Hot Garlic. * Don't judge the book by the cover -- inside is chill, safe, and welcoming. * Beverage options are bottled and simple. * There's a front and rear entrance -- the rear might not have the "open" light on, but it's good to go. * Parking is fairly easy. read more

Best wings in town especially for the price! Everything on the menu is good. Don't forget to get the wings double baked.

I finally went to Galloway Tavern after months of being told how good their wings were. these are Mild, Flappers and Double Baked. They were very good. I'm not always a boned in wing kind of person, but these were crispy and cooked just right! I would definitely come back again. Kinda loud with the music, but was expected because of it being a bar. I went around 3:30pm on a Tuesday and there were good amount of people already there. So I'm sure lot busier, the later you go. read more

Stick with me here: I hesitate to rate this place, because one of the downsides is how crowded it always is. And for every review that raves about the food, it could get even busier... Honestly, this place is a dive. When you walk in, you feel like you're in someone's basement in 1975. And you'll probably have trouble finding a seat at the bar, or at any of the 50-year-old tables with uncomfortable chairs. Also, the staff and the regulars might not be all that nice to you... But once you get past that, the food is so good it will shock you. It's bar food: Everything you can imagine fried, plus pizza, wings, and sandwiches. But the fried stuff is great, the pizza is incredible, the wings are amazing, and the two sandwiches I've tried (the fried bologna and the Reuben) are better than you'd ever imagine. If you're in the area, close your eyes and ears, and give this place a shot. You'll be disappointed by the atmosphere, but the food will genuinely surprise you. read more

Ate there for first time this week. Our group tried sauerkraut balls, wings and burgers. Sauerkraut balls were probably the best ever, wings and burgers very good. Fries could have gone longer in fryer for my liking. Tina was our waitress and did a great job running the whole show. Will be back soon! read more

I was blown away with their pizza. Walked right in, and the lady who took our order was very friendly and said about 30 minutes. It was really packed in there, and my pizza came up in around 18 minutes. The pizza was extremely delicious. I will be back very soon. I wanna try the wings next. I heard good things about that. read more

Absolute hole in the wall and typically not my go to place, but it is fun when they have karaoke. Drinks are super cheap and I kid you not I love coming here to eat. Their wings and pizza are delicious. I just get some food, play some keno, and listen to people sing. I've also tried their mozzarella sticks and fried pickle chips. The service can be hit or miss. They can get super busy and food and drinks may take a while. I'll have to try other food items, but I always get the pizza or wings. It's too good! read more

This is an old building with a very small parking lot, limited seating and no sign on the building. If you done have GPS or know where you're going, you're not going to find it. However, if you DO find it, you're in for a treat! This small tavern has a big heart. The atmosphere is dark when you first walk in, but the friendly staff and great menu makes up for any concerns you might have. I have returned 4 times since my initial visit and plan to return weekly! I have had their Rueben sandwich, AWESOME, The Fried Bologna sandwich, excellent, the pizza, out of this world, the hamburger, oh my stars it's amazing, and the Italian salad, absolutely fresh crunchy and so flavorful! The prices are very reasonable, the service is great and the bathrooms are very clean! This is the best kept secret in Galloway or even Central Ohio!!!! Yum!!! read more

Great Pizza. Probably the best wings in Columbus area. Can get very busy on weekends and big game night.

My friend and I stopped in for Lunch at 12:50 pm on a Thursday. We found an open table that seats 4. More than 10 minutes passed before we were approached with menus. The server mentioned she was both tending the bar as well as serving every table. Needless to say, service was very slow, but she quickly brought out our first sodas. We both ordered Ruben sandwiches, one with fries. Our food arrived about 45 minutes later, piping hot and delicious except the fries which were limp and greasy. Watching orders being delivered to other tables, everything from the pizzas, fried bologna sandwiches, hamburgers and wings looked delicious and very few people left food on their plates which I consider a good thing. The only real negative I would add besides the slow service was how extremely loud the music was making it difficult to hear the person directly across the table from me. We were considering this location for a monthly group lunch for friends but with the majority of tables being tall with only 4 table being low and seating 4 each, and knowing our group age is a very spirited 65, we decided it would not be an appropriate group location. Some of us, however, will return as the food is great! We just won't be in a hurry! read more

Great Food And Atmosphere, Stop in And have a Bite and Cold Beverage. Pizza And Wings are my Favorite But I do Love a Good Burger

Dive Bar with Top Notch Pizza. This place actually gives you for real edge to edge toppings like a major Columbus chain CLAIMS to have. They don't skimp on toppings, good customer service, and a kitchen with chefs and cooks that take their jobs seriously. Second time here for Pizza only and we'll be back for pizza again. read more

Just had, in my opinion, the best pizza by far within 25 miles of Columbus! I had pepperoni, sausage and bacon. bacon crisp and crumbly, sausage really tender. just the right amount of cheese and sauce. Crust not too thick not too thin. Ice cold beer! Server took care of a lot of people in a timely fashion. read more

Great food, service and vibe! Easy on the wallet as well. If you want a good karaoke night, this is also for you.

There's a definite good old boy charm here, if you like that kind of thing. As you walk in thru the gravel parking lot, you can just smell the " we fry stuff here" aroma. There was a good sized crowd here today watching the game. Yes, the Buckeye game is on and kids are at Granny's so it's time for us to really just enjoy some carry out from Galloway Tavern. Look at that pizza. What a beauty! You can taste all the flavors too. So good . We also ordered super hot wings and jalapeño poppers. The prices are good too, very reasonable. Truth be told , we'll race thru all that deliciousness and be ready for more tomorrow. read more

Galloway Tavern - Deluxe pizza - Pizza Near Me - Galloway, Ohio

Great place to get a very cold beer and tasty food without breaking your bank. Depending what time or day of the week you get there expect full place of great local people or overflow from the golf course. The service is excellent, Tina and Ashley are absolutely great covering very busy place, but you don't wait for a beer ever. My regular place to go ever since I moved to this area, met a lot of great people and the food is fantastic. read more

The pizza and wings here can't be beat. This has become my favorite spot for pizza in the Columbus area. The food is always ready fast, made to order and delicious. The staff are always friendly as well, I will be returning again and again! read more

Arrived at 5pm on Friday 4/5/24. Got quick service with drinks. However, the food (one pizza and 12 wings) never arrived. Our original waitress decided to bartend and checked one time to give us another beer. Never came back. Asked another waitress to check on our food since it had been 1 1/2 hours and she never came back. Finally I said forget it (actually it was not that nice) and I went to the bar to pay our drink tab. My waitress was unloading beer and did not apologize when I said we had been waiting 1 1/2 hours. She smiled and said they were slammed. I did not smile and said it was not busy when we arrived at 5p. I cannot believe she didn't comp us for our drinks (only $9) and/or apologize. I do not recommend Galloway Tavern!!! read more

HIGHLY recommend. You seriously can't beat the prices for the quality that you get. I am in a pizza group and a wing connoisseur group and this place was highly recommended, so I had to make the 25 minute drive and check it out. I ordered the Carolina Gold wings and the spicy garlic wings and they were absolutely perfect when it comes to the crisp and flavor. They were pretty meaty, tasted fresh and none of them had that sometimes frozen burnt taste in the middle. I also ordered their G-T pizza and it had a wow factor from the flavor of the sauce. They seemed to be a little short staffed so the service wasn't as good as it could have been but the bartender was very friendly and was working very hard as she was covering the entire floor. I give the wings a 9.4/10 and the pizza a 8.3/10. read more

The pizza was so so, but the service was fantastic. I was looking for a new place to try. Galloway Tavern was recommended. I Read great reviews about the pizza here. I had a hard time finding the place as there's no sign out front and the street name is different online then it is on the street. However, it is the only tavern in the area so you can assume. Because I was late picking it up the pizza was no longer hot when I got there. They were kind enough to put it back in the oven for another minute for me. read more

So, we went there on a Wed. evening, & it was PRETTY busy then. Small bar/dining area w/a small covered outdoor area w/picnic tables. Here's the rundown: Menu: They've got a pretty good size menu. Mostly bar food, but a lot to choose from. We ordered pizza, & it was a solid choice. Pizza: We got a 16" Deluxe. Great fresh veggies & excellent meats on it. The sauce was ok, nothing great. Crust was crispy on the outer edge, soggy in the middle. The taste was very good though. Not great, but very good. Came out of the oven AT OVEN TEMP! It was SO hot! We had to let it cool before eating. We enjoyed it. Not bad... Tavern: It's definitely got a dive bar feel. People there were exceedingly nice & quick. Good service. The other patrons were friendly & non threatening. Beer was cheap, but surprisingly, all bottles...no draft. Clean, TV's, classic rock on the speakers...you get it. Overall, I'd say this is a great place to stop at sometime & grab a bite to eat, or just hang for awhile & drink a few beers. Again, the service is great & the food is pretty good. If you're out this way, check it out sometime. It'll be worth you're stop. read more

Got myself a pizza, wings, and chips and it was so good. The service was good but my mom said it was a "biker bar" interior there. Everything was pretty good though. The pizza is not my favorite but it is good. read more

Food was amazing, drinks were cold but drink and food service was really slow. It was packed though which I'm sure contributed to the slowness. Parking lot was full so we made our own spot. I'd definitely go back but expect to be there for 1-1.5 hours on a full night. read more

We have ordered wings, pizza and appetizers from here multiple times! Great food and great value as well!

The pizza and wings here are great! I love coming here to hang out and have dinner with friends. The only negative is the parking, the lot is gravel and not marked in any way so everyone just parks all over the place. read more

Seemed like everyplace in Columbus closed at 10:00 pm or else we couldn't find a place to park in German Village yet we were in the mood for a hamburger late at night. We decided to drive out to the Galloway Tavern and the hamburger was juicy and tasty. French fries were seasoned and hot. It was Karaoke night also which was fun to hear. Prices were also very reasonable! Ample parking for a neighborhood bar. We will definitely be back. read more

This place hands down has the best chicken wings! Get them double baked, it's the only way to go. Reasonably priced. Go there, get some wings, pizza and a Philly cheesesteak. You will thank me later. :) read more

Great little dive bar with solid food options. No draft beer, but super affordable prices for bottles - $2.50 for a CBC beer, and $1.65 for PBR! They seemed to have a full bar with any liquor option you could want, so I anticipate the prices for cocktails would be good, too. We had a medium pineapple pizza, and it was a little overly cheesy but really tasty with a thinner crust. We had two craft beers, two PBRs, and a medium pizza for $21. I mean, that is awesome, especially considering the quality and how nice the bartender was! There is a pool table, several large tvs, and options for Keno if you're into that. I hear there's also karaoke periodically. A Nascar race was on tv, so there were additional discounts on domestic beer during the event. It may look like a sketchy biker bar from the outside (I mean, it IS a biker bar, but nbd) but it's fairly clean, the food is good, and the service is friendly. Added plus, we rode our bikes there from the Camp Chase Trail! So, ALL types of bikers are welcome :) read more

The cheesesteak sandwich is delicious and so is the pizza. Todd is a great chef and cares about everything he sends out.

Went for the best wings in town and was not disappointed. This little pub does have some of the best wings around. Worth the hype and drive!

Great all around food not just the pizza. Can't beat the price. Quick service usually done before the time estimated.

Great food, I had a bbq cheddar burger that was excellent and everything was very well priced. 2.50 for a beer is tough to beat :). Service was well paced and staff was friendly. It looks like a sort of hole in the wall place, but is definitely worth the stop. read more
