The works pizza was plentiful loaded. Good sauce with a decent crust. I'll have to try something with less toppings by the time this arrived to my door the pizza was pretty soggy most likely from the super fresh toppings. Regardless majority of the pizza was eaten! Went to Minelli's for a get together. well in honesty we went the The Next Door Tavern for adult beverages and ordered pizza. We got the Chicken Bacon Blue which was excellent. I only ate 1 piece since we had other food too. (Their Fried Bologna was FAB!) so I decided to take a pie home for later. Got our standard double cheese, pep, mushroom & banana pepper. I snuck a piece on the drive home & it was delicious. While it did not heat up as well as I would have liked, the taste was really good. I tried some in the air-fryer as well as putting some on a stone in the oven. The stone worked best but it still was more chewy than the piece I ate on my drive home. But overall it was a very good pie! Highly recommend! And the owners & staff in both the restaurant & the bar are absolutely fantastic! read more

Welp, not my favorite pizza by any means but it has its pros. For one, you can order online and the process was really easy. Second, it was a Saturday night and the pick up time was only thirty minutes which is pretty fast considering it was on the weekend. I can also say that it was really affordable. We ordered a salad, some wings, and a large half pep, half cheese pizza. The pizza is where Minelli's missed the mark. The salad is what you'd expect and my friend really enjoyed the wings. The pizza on the other hand, was a mess. It was over cooked and the crust was so hard to bite, I really had to chew to get through. It was really bland and I wasn't a huge fan of their cheese. I also didn't like that the pizza was so yellow/orange. It was just eh. Overall, three solid stars. I wouldn't order the pizza again but maybe some of their other options. read more

Absolutely amazing! Truly a mom and pop spot. Great customer service- Kathy our waitress was so friendly and great! We ordered the pizza, which was very delicious, I can only imagine that whatever you order, it will be very tasty. The true treat was the wine in a can ! It was even Robert Mondavi ! I ordered a pickup while on this side of town. I was really impressed. I grew up on Minelli's Pizza, the Sullivant Ave location. I was unsure of ordering this time due to about 9 months ago I was over and my son had ordered a pizza at his house and it was terrible, but I gave it another try. The young lady who checked me out was so nice and courteous. The pizza looked so good when I looked at it in my truck, that I had to try a piece of both. It was delicious! I pretty much ate my dinner driving home. I will be stopping by again when I am back on that side of town. In my opinion, it tastes much better fresh and hot than delivered or reheated! read more

I want to give them a higher rating, but after going twice a 3 is where I stand for now. First pizza had the same toppings minus the jalapeño and it was fantastic. Greta crunch and flavor, but this second pizza wasn't cooked enough. Little to not crunch, and it just didn't look that great. I will go back for a third time, but just adding some jalapeños should not make a significant difference in quality of a pizza. If so, they should know to bake it longer. Decided to check this place out for carryout tonight. Ordered a large 1/2 pepperoni and mushrooms, 1/2 mushrooms and green peppers.Also got some garlic bread and the cannoli's. The pizza crust was a little over cooked. They use Ezzo's pepperoni which is the Cadillac of pepperoni's. The Garlic bread was cooked a little too long also, it had a great taste though and the dipping sauce was excellent. I think I will have to give them another try, they've been in business for many years and you don't do that without having a quality product. There is an enormous amount of cool pictures and memorabilia. I could come back just so I could talk about it. Close to work and having passed by often I finally got the chance to try Minelli's. My co-workers wanted to get pizza for lunch and I wanted to try a new place. Online ordering was super easy. My order was ready by the time they said it would be. They were staffed with friendly folks that got my order to me right away. The pizza was pretty tasty. It had a lot of flavor. Standard Columbus Ohio pizza (if we have a style) thin crust crispy pizza served with a delicious tomato pizza sauce and topped with classic cheese blend and your choice of other toppings. Minelli's is more than just pizza, and they are serving up classics small-town American Italian food mixed with some American appetizer sports fare. So, this is my second time in a week I've craved a big huge salad, the anti-pasta salad is perfecto!! So fresh, crisp, tons of great flavored meats. They put it in a pizza box which allows you to open it for everyone to get some. Husband loved the boneless wings with Buffalo sauce and the bacon & cheese fries. The garlic bread with cheese is perfectly soft and juicy, not hard. I also got a small kids spaghetti with meatball, which is a perfect size for me, so delicious. When I got these pies home and opened the box, the smell hit my nostrils and woke them up. My mouth began to water, and I prayed that this was going to be some good za. I was not disappointed; the pizza was the absolute bomb. The sauce was the way I like it, savory with a tad bit of a kick. The choice of cheese complimented the pepperoni and spicy Italian sausage. The pepperoni was tremendous, but the Italian sausage had this unique texture that I've been missing from my days growing up in Brooklyn, New York, and eating sausage rolls with ketchup. Second time I've tried Minelli's. I thought it was truly terrible the last time I had it, but people kept swearing by it so I thought I'd get it again. 14in pepperoni. Cornmeal crust feels cheap. It's like thin crust dominoes, but with a bit more crunch. Sauce actually has a bit of a bitter aftertaste. Not much taste to the cheese. I ate until full but threw it out after. And I never throw out pizza. I certainly don't hope this mom and pop shop closes by any means, but I don't understand how it's stayed alive with all the great options in Columbus. read more

For many years, we have loved their perfectly seasoned Italian wings. Unfortunately, new year's eve may have been the last time we ordered from them as it was a disaster. We got 3 orders of their Italian wings - ordered online and picked up. After being rudely checked out by one of their female employees, I walked out to my car and checked the container to make sure we had the correct order. I immediately suspected something was wrong because their Italian wings look much more seasoned than what they gave me. I walked back in to confirm my order was correct. The same employee that had checked me out immediately jumped in to rudely address me while I was explaining to the other female employee there that I thought my order was not right. They told me those were the right wings; they looked different because they were cooked on "new grease". Umm! Kinda worrisome but ok! I get home and we then notice all 18 wings were flats; maybe they were out of drums???! They also did not taste at all like their usually delicious Italian wings. When I got home and opened the pizza box I could tell it was not going to be very good. The crust was extremely thin, room temperature, and was very chewy. It tasted like it had been sitting all day. If it was under heat lamps it should have still been at least warm but it was not. The Italian sub literally had one thin slice of ham and one thin slice of salami (was actually two slices of salami but there was one slice for each half of the sub. I don't have the money to spend eating out but wanted to treat myself. That was a $30 mistake I can't make again. read more

Minelli's food is top notch. The pizza is mid-west style with a cracker crust, square cut. They use old world pepperoni, which is just a bit spicy and is delicious.
