So thankful for all the people in this shop that work their butts off to serve the best pizza on the west side. It's the same every time, always great they know our order they know our names and our faces at this point. Extremely appreciative for a friendly group of people that delivers a consistent product with a smile every single time. We get the beef pepperoni and are never disappointed. We even have a family pizza night where every group bring a pizza and out of 5-10 pizza ours is voted best every time! Thank you guys! One of my favorite parts is what I call the "exotic soda" they always have that's hard to find elsewhere

Pizza was good. Sauce had a really good flavor. Had the garlic buffalo wings and they were fantastic. Cooked well and the sauce was tasty.

Yummy food. One of my go to spots in columbus for sure. Definitely recommend the pepperoni pizza Update: recently got the opportunity to go back there and see some of their food that I wasn't ordering. Everything looked super good. Check it out below. The best thing there is still the pepperoni pizza. I also got the cheesy bread and it was very good

Happened to be on the Westside and decided to check Westside Slice. A new business in the area that has been open around 7 weeks. The owners are Danny and Tanya. Me I could go just for conversation with them. SUPER nice people. We ordered a half pepperoni and mushrooms, half turkey pepperoni and mushrooms. Crust is a nice thin crust that isn't really hard which was perfect. The mushrooms are finely chopped. The pepperoni is thinly sliced. The sauce was the star though, the slightest of spiceness. A nice cheese on top. Yummmy!!!! Get out and check them out, you won't be disappointed.

Great little neighborhood pizza place. You'll need to call in your order and pick it up, old school style. However, the price is right and the pizza is good quality. If you live on the Westside, support this small business. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Definitely one of the best slices of pizza I've had in Columbus if not the best! 100% recommend!

We…read morespent over $80 on a to-go order that included two Gina's Gem, a big cheese pizza, and a salad. The pizza arrived cold but was still edible. Unfortunately, the Gina's Gem was nothing like what was advertised. I was expecting warm, crusty bread with a roasted cheese dip on the side so you could tear pieces of bread and dip them into the cheese. Instead, the cheese had already been spread directly onto the bread and toasted together. Because of that, the bread lost the texture you would expect--it wasn't crusty or dippable at all. It ended up soft, almost soggy, and the cheese was baked onto the bread rather than being a dip. The whole appeal of the dish was supposed to be the warm bread with the roasted cheese to dip into, and that part was completely missing. Included with the bread was a hot honey that missed the mark on being "hot" and some kind of jam. These options just made everything even more soft....which should have been impossible. The salad was actually the best part of the meal - even though it was a bit spicy. I've always had good experiences here in the past, so this was a big letdown--especially for the price. I just wish the to-go version of the dish matched how it's described, or that expectations were set correctly when ordering. Unfortunately, this experience made me lose all trust in ordering from here again. I can't believe we waited until exactly 3pm (when they opened) to order this.... At the very least the pizza should have been hot.

The sandwich was honestly the highlight of the meal. It was delicious, and the pizza dough as the bread was such a unique touch that you really don't find at many Italian sandwich spots around Columbus. The pizza itself was just okay. As you can see from the picture, the toppings weren't distributed very evenly, so some slices had mostly sauce with barely any cheese while others had way more toppings and cheese but less sauce. I also wish the pizza had been cooked a little longer overall because it was pretty floppy and doughy. One thing that makes it tough is that once the movie starts, it's hard to go back and ask for changes or anything since the theater is packed and getting in and out of the seats feels disruptive. We'll definitely be back to Grandview Theater because we love the experience overall, but next time I'll probably stick to the sandwiches and popcorn and skip the pizza.

I tried half of the Licensed to Dill which was just okay. Pickles on pizza isn't really my thing. Pesto on pizza wasn't really my thing either, but having half of a an Ecto Pesto changed my mind. Perhaps the chicken and bacon on the pie was what I really liked, but the point is that it all came together surprisingly well. It definitely gave me hope for the more meat-heavy pizza options that I tend to prefer.

It's a bar with a movie theatre and pizza place attached? Or is it a theatre with a pizza place and bar? Who knows?

You ever walk into a place and think, there's no way something special is hiding in here?…read more Yeah....That was me. An old tavern in Columbus. Dim. Historic. The kind of spot where you expect a solid beer and maybe some decent bar food. What you don't expect? One of the best Detroit-style pizzas of your life hiding behind a window in the back like some carb-based speakeasy. And when I say hidden, I mean hidden. No flashy signage. No "best pizza in town" ego. Just a quiet little window cranking out square pies that deserve a standing ovation. I ordered the classic red top -- already a bold move -- and added pesto because balance matters and I like to live a little. The result? Beyond reproach. Fresh, loaded toppings. Sauce with depth. And that crust... that beautiful Detroit crust. Crispy edges with that caramelized cheese halo, but still chewy and pillowy inside. The textural contrast is what separates amateurs from legends -- and this? This was legend-level execution. Easily top 3 Detroit-style pizzas I've had. And that's not a casual statement. If you don't understand the life-altering power of true Detroit-style pizza, I regret to inform you... you have not been living. Go find the window in the back. Trust me.
