If you're a meat lover, their meat lovers pizza is packed with meat. Especially sausage. It's a decent pizza but the sauce has absolutely no flavor or just doesn't have enough sauce at all. It's an Ohio style pizza that is thin. Little to no flavor. I wouldn't recommend. read more

I'm a snob on pizza. I heard so much about this place and decided to try it. Pretty expensive pizza for (warehouse) storefront, no dining in establishment. Toppings are about a B- grade. Crust is about a C+ grade. Service was great. They have enough staff to make a pizza in 10 minutes! Efficient! It's basically for pickup only and situated on the side of a beverage drive-through. I got the medium Cardo's Special - $19.95. It wasn't a BJs experience, but it was decent and filled the void. read more

The best pizza I've had since moving back to Ohio. They dont deliver, but luckily for me I live just down the street from them. Other great pizza is Zamarellis and pizza cottage in Grove City. I don't live there anymore, so Cardos is my pizza place of choice. read more

First off I grew up with Cardo's in my life. Great teenage memories hanging at the pizza shop and scrapping any money I could find to buy their pizza so my review maybe a bit directed by nostalgia. That being said this is the best pizza shop on the south side of Cbus. We order at least once a month and have never had an issue with our order. Never a long wait and the pizza is always great. When you arrive you can see the entire kitchen area and the folks in there are busy at work. The area is clean and organized. Definitely worth an order. read more

Very solid pizza. It has been a south side staple since I was a teenager. Their "works" salad doesn't look like much but you better have a large bowl to put it in. It is packed in that container and is delicious. Their Italian subs (gondola) are good too. Usually it is hard not to get a pizza though. read more

Really disappointed to see such negative reviews because the place doesn't deliver. If only we had more establishments that focused on what they were good at (like making pizza) and less on hiring and training drivers that are sure to flake out. The south end has other places that do deliver, dominos and Pizza Hut to be specific. Cardo's makes a good pizza and it's honestly the best one for us on this side of town. Isn't a better one until you get to Planks and no one dare low ball them a review because they don't deliver! Great tasting pizza sauce (don't be afraid to ask for extra on your pizza) with lots of herbs and spices on their pizza provided a unique taste experience-think of it as a Donatos, with more taste. Underrated menu item though, it's their garlic bread with cheese. Not sure what they season it with, but it is fantastic! Best Pizza on the South Side. For the past month or so I had the pleasure I suppose of working on the southside and when I did, I found the tasty cardo's pizza waiting for me to eat and enjoy when my mind felt like pizza, which sometimes was pretty frequent. The pizza here is traditional Midwest style. Thin crispy crust cut in to squares. I am normally a fan of lots of cheese but Cardos doesn't use a whole lot, but it works the Pep is decently spicy, and the sauce is sweet with just the right amount. Only real complaint is if you order anything with more then one toppings the toppings are on top of the cheese, and they slide around a bit if you aren't careful. That being said they do really throw on the toppings which is nice. The veggies some of them anyway, like the green peppers taste fresh and have a nice crisp snap to them. They don't have a huge dining room, but they do have a good selection of soda available for cheap for take out. Friendly staff, quick good pizza, can't really ask for more, other then I wish it was closer to my home, so I could enjoy you more. read more

Excellent pizza. Truly, the best on the South side of Columbus. Always hot, always delicious. They are open earlier than most pizza places and stay open later. They also deliver during those hours, unlike some of the other smaller shops. I would have no problem giving this place five stars, if it wasn't for the staff.
