Walked in and was greeted first thing by multiple gentlemen. They have a cute small dining area that had 2 TVs and a fountain soda machine. Let me tell you that they have some of the most interesting pizzas I've heard of. My husband and I tried the carbonara pizza and it was amazing. The crust is fresh and homemade and had a nice crunch to it, but not overly burnt tasting like some places. We also had a Felix chef salad which the toppings on the pizza and salad were not lacking at all. My son had a sub and said it was really good too! Ordered around 8:50 PM and was told they'd have it ready shortly but they close at 9PM as opposed to whats on Google/Yelp. Got and 8" pizza and a salad. Pizza was delicous, would highly recommend, the crust is the perfect crispy thin and the toppings were plenty. I'd pass on their salads. Plus: Hot, fresh, with very minimal grease. For a thicker style crust, it is very light (almost too light, lacks some needed density) & crisp. The ingredients are fresh & the toppings were an adequate quantity (they don't skimp nor do they overload it). Closer to 4 stars then 2. Minus: Nothing special to write home about or leave you dreaming of your next visit. While fresh, the sauce is in need of that signature touch that most popular pizza joints stand on, I struggled to find any real flavor separation. The cheese was also low on the flavor meter. Overall an above average, decent, hot & fresh pizza that is definitely worth trying, but it wont make any "top 3 lists" in my opinion. Service: Fast & friendly. BPP has Bexley's best pizza, which is a tough call because Rubino's - another Bexley icon- is right next dOor. We like the easy parking, the casual family-friendly dining (small, no-nonsense) and of course the specialty pizzas. Mega Meat is our favorite, but they have about 12 that are great combinations. I first heard of Bexley's from the Food Network. I just had to try it the first chance I got to Columbus. The town of Bexley is cute and quaint. The restaurant is not very big and was super busy when I went. We ordered a 14" pepperoni and mushroom, green pepper, brocoli pizza. The crust was very good. It was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The sauce was a tad bland for my taste, but the veggies were fresh and made the pizza delicious. read more

And wow you talk about some fresh basil, you would have thought it was hand picked off a plant, very fresh ingredients. So I have not been to Bexley in probably 15 years. I was really looking forward to going to Rubino's pizza that is next door, a true landmark. Unfortunately I was there with my family on a Monday, the only day Rubino's is closed. So right next door there is Bexley Pizza. Who opens a pizza place next to another pizza place? Anyway, we went in and ordered two large pizza. One large pepperoni and one large margherita. Both pizzas were just OK at best, very little taste, very little zest or salt or flavor. I had to apply generous portions of parmesan, red pepper flakes, and salt. Price was also way of point, around $55 for two pies. read more

Pizza was decent, it's a mix of Detroit style and Columbus style, so a slightly breadier version compared to the traditional square cut slices. The sauce was VERY light, which was disappointing. We tried a few different pizzas, including Margaretia, Meat Lovers, and Loraine. Of these meat lovers was the best, but overall just acceptable considering price. It's very pricey - and the website has outdated pricing info, so be prepared to pay $2 more. read more

I don't like to be negative. And because of that, I keep trying the pizza here thinking it will improve. I know lots of people who prefer it as their favorite Bexley pizza. It isn't bad. The toppings are all fresh. It's just my opinion that the crust borders between thin and thick in an awkward middle-ground and the sauce doesn't taste like a whole lot. Put simply, it just isn't anywhere near the delicious pizza next door at Rubinos. Because the two are so close together, it is hard not to compare them when ordering a pizza. Having eaten here several times, I thought about what brought me there, and realized that there are a few pros. - In the summer, if you want to dine-in, there is air conditioning, whereas Rubinos reaches what feels like 100 degrees. Simple choice. - If you want your pizza delivered, this is your option. I can recall many Bexley pizza parties with their pizza, mostly because they will bring it to your door, and in a box, whereas Rubinos has pickup only and wraps it in a tented bag, making it impossible to stack multiple pizzas for, say, a party. - Everyone working there is very nice and the place is clean and new. Rubino's is a bit more rough around the edges, but heck, that one's going to be up to you. These are just my thoughts. Changes are very good that I will be at party with their pizza or friends will insist on going there, and I will do so without protest. It's not worth avoiding, but not one that I will seek out, personally. read more

Great pizza! We always get the Farmers Market, Veggie or Plain and it's great. They aren't stingy on the toppings and the quality is good, very fresh. We have also gotten delivery before and they've been pretty good. We once got our pizza and it must've been held sideways or something because all the cheese fell off to the side and wasn't on. But we called and they immediately sent a replacement quickly and it was perfect we were thrilled with how they handled it. They lose 1 star for staff. The girl at the counter isn't friendly and for some reason every time I go for pickup she's sick, I don't know who let's her come to work sick but cmon that's unacceptable at a food place. I hate to say it, but Bexley Pizza Plus might just make the best pie in the city. With its silly name, I figured Bexley Pizza Plus must be shady as heck -- like on par with Little Caesars or something. Boy, was I wrong. They offer up an array of specialty pizzas. Some the most interesting (to me) included Lorraine (spinach, bacon, onion and swiss), Primavera Plus (artichoke hearts, spinach, Roma tomatoes, fresh garlic and fresh basil) and Greek (artichoke hearts, black olives, sun-dried tomatoes and feta). I tried the Maximum Pep, which featured two types of pepperoni on a thick-ish crust. The outside was so crunchy and the inside was so soft Awesome! I dig their lunch specials too. $5.60 for a fresh 8-inch pie and a soda can't be beat. They have a decent beer selection to boot. This is a great place to stop and eat some pizza. read more

Boyfriend and I carried out a medium pizza and Italian sub. We were too hungry to take pictures. This was my first time trying their food. The pizza was a little bit thicker crust than a thin but was fresh, hot, and crisp. We chose pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, banana peppers, extra sauce, and oregano sprinkled on top. Lots of toppings edge to edge! After a few pieces I then tackled my half of the sub. The bread has a nice flavor but there was a lot of it compared to the amount of toppings on it. A has-been. One of my favorite restaurants growing up, they apparently don't care about their standards anymore. They clearly used a leftover crust from their morning prep but honestly it tasted like it could've been from the day before. My garlic bread was wrapped in an insane amount of tin foil, which goes to show they don't even care about cutting their own costs and training.
