Old world pepperoni still great after delivery. Top of the line service on putting it together. We hardly got a photo in. Old school, as in the foods damn worth the price. Going to be coming in here often. read more

Possum Holler Pizza - Last piece of Old World Pep - Pizza Near Me - Obetz, Ohio

Good? Service .. very sweet and attentive even though she was the only one there with about 15 to 20 customers and ambience was great. The bar looks clean lots of cool signage good music playing and tons of TVs. I loved it for those reasons and unfortunately, those reasons only I came to this pizza place because I seen the pictures online that looked like the kind of pizza that my husband and I love small pepperonis lots of cheese and crispy crust. Unfortunately, that is not what we got. The pepperonis were way larger than shown on the pictures and the toppings were sparse. My husband ordered a double meat sub without double meat apparently because it only came with a small amount. We don't like pellet sausage and that's what you get here even the sub had pellet sausage. I think all subs should come with a patty and I think most people would agree we won't be back unfortunately, but we love the fact of the Keno and the cool atmosphere, but the pizza is not good. We also noticed that a couple of regulars that came in got a different pizza than we got, which was really strange. We couldn't figure that one out, but there's looked 10 times better than ours. We're gonna try Cardos next . read more

Possum Holler Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Obetz, Ohio

I have been ordering from Possum Holler since early 2000. Our entire family on both sides are customers as well. Called last night (7/12/25) around 10pm to place an order. Waited on hold for over 20 minutes, got hung up on. Called back and it kept going to voicemail. Very disappointing, it didn't used to be like this. I hope it's just a one time occurrence, but not a great way to take care of long term customers. read more

Ordered this pizza yesterday and it was terrible. I have had it before and it was good. Not sure why it made us sick this time.

Food was ok order on our subs were wrong super Italian double meat #2 subs was ordered only got Italian subs.

Some of the worst pizza ive had in awhile. I was intrigued to try this pizza do to all the pictures i was seeing online of the pizza shop and how great it looked ! But due to my experience probably will not try again . I got a large regular pepperoni pizza and a personal cheese . When you bite into the pizza its like you are eating cardboard. I have a family of 4 and not even a quarter of the large pizza was ate. we tossed the rest away. The cheesy bread was the only thing decent in my opinion. read more

Been eating here my whole life, I'd recommend no where else in Obetz! We love it as a community and the variety of food is amazing.

My favorite mom and pop pizza shop. The mozzarella cheese they use definitely make's the pizza!

Standing by my previous review. I've visited many times since. They have moved the business down the building to the other end. Folks are just as friendly and helpful. They help me separate payments for my work associates. Help me carry it out, to load the car. I even broke down and asked for a pie cut once. Read my other review to get even more details. There is no change in the produce. Canned mushrooms on the salad. read more

One of my lunch time favorites while at work... Partying with the Possum! Had them plenty of times but this is my first review of them. I normally order the "Possum Combo" but a friend and I decided to split "The Meats", Pepperoni, Ham, Sausage and Bacon on this visit. Pizza is good, nice crisp crust, right amount of sauce. What sets this pizza apart is the abundance of toppings! The "Possum Combo" and "Old World Pepperoni" also are packed with plenty of toppings. I myself of only had their pizza, but several co-workers have tried the Wings, Salads and bread from their menu and have all been pleased with those items. read more

Partied with the Possum! This pie had good taste and the crust was nice and crispy. Edge to edge sauce, cheese, & toppings!! Pizza was hot and the cheese was gooey just the way it should be. Sausage was pebble-like so that was an interesting twist. Would most likely order from here again! read more

I'm sorry but I am seriously frustrated with any restaurant that consistently makes you wait much longer than you are told. this has happened several times. I love what they are trying to do. Its just that I keep getting extremely frustrated by having to wait LONGER than I am told.....I want them to be successful....OBETZ needs more family friendly places....so if you tell me wait 20 minutes....and I intentionally give you more than 20 minutes before arriving....please dont make it hard to order hot dogs...and dont run to the grocery store for hot dog buns after its already been more than 30 minutes read more

Just had their bbq chicken pizza for the first time today and it was fantastic!!! Loaded with grilled chicken and grilled onions. I ordered mine with extra cheese. Amazing! read more

The owner of PHP must know his pies are good. Otherwise he would not have named his shop after an ugly critter. And so you don't mistake the name, it's in big letters on top of the box. I don't know what animal would make pizza sound better; certainly no beautiful animals. Let's test it: Mink, cougar, panther, lion, gold fish, peacock, swan. Nope, not sure what those pies would taste like, but I would be more curious about a Possum-themed pie than, say, baboon or raccoon, whale or dolphin. Now, a wolverine pie I would shoot before it came onto my property--it's a Buckeye thing. So is Possum Holler Pie. read more

On Tuesday this week I stopped here on my way home from Physical Therapy. I got a pepperroni and mushroom pizza. It was delicious. For me the sauce makes the pizza and I loved the sauce. It was also thick with a good tasty cheese and they did not skimp on the mushrooms or large pepperroni. The crust was not to thick and not too thin. It held the toppings well without letting them drip off. This palace has been on the Southeast side for over 30 years and this is my first time trying it and it will not be my last. I know I have passed by it too many times to count on Obetz Road and never stopped. There is a time and season for everything and I guess it was my time to stop in. One of the owners waited on me and she was very nice and pleasent. I was glad they took debit/credit cards because I did not have any cas read more

I have never had a meal in this pizza shop, but never fail to get an order to go anytime I am in Columbus. Start at the crust, it is always flavored amazingly. It does not matter if you are going basic cheese or adding more toppings, you would be hard pressed to find a more filling pie in this part of the country. It is full on greasy goodness that pizza should be. This is the type of pizza that comes out of a hole in the wall that you wish that could become a worldwide phenom. I take that back, they are just fine being an Obetz staple. Party with the possum and you will not be dissapointed. read more

I would not eat there due to the fact that they look like they are remodeling. So we brought out food to our hotel. However it was one of the best pizzas I have had out of my home state of Illinois. The crust was excellent and they were not stingy on the toppings. The sauce was also very good. We also ordered a garlic was bread with cheese and that was also excellent read more

Staying at the baymont hotel by the airport for a few days and decided to order out for dinner. The front desk recommended possum holler and their menu had a lot of different items so we decided to order from them. My boyfriend ordered a double cheeseburger and side salad. I ordered a gnocchi dinner and side salad. His burger was a mess when it arrived. The box had tilted on its side and the bun was a soggy mess. He said the burger was nothing special. My gnocchi had been left in the oven too long and was burnt on the bottom. The sauce was very sour and I couldn't even finish eating it. The salads were OK, nothing I would want to eat again... I doubt I'll be back in the area any time soon..... Definitely will not be eating here if I do. read more

Pizza is made perfectly. Service is nice. I would recommend friends to try this pizza.

We called multiple times over the past hour and nobody answered. Rang and rang and rang. Rang so much the operator came on. Called back. Busy signal. Called back. Rang and rang. 18 times. Guessing they are closed permanently???? read more

Really nice for their delivery, and driver who carries a card reader. Cheesy garlic bread and onion rings were LEGIT. pizza was only okay. Thin crust, okay toppings. I'm still on the lookout for great pizza. I like thicker crust so I might have a skewed review. But get the cheesy garlic bread. read more

I give this place a 1 star but honestly if I could I wouldn't give them any stars based on their customer service. I called and ordered and a extra large pizza and a ham and cheese sub without tomatoes for pick up and they told me it would be a half hour for my order, fine. So when I get their to pick up my order they then informed me that they didn't make my food at all. Being all apologetic they said that they would give me a $10 discount on my order and that my food would be ready in 10 minutes. So if I understand this correctly, when I placed my order on the phone they told me that my food would be ready in a half hour and now your going to magically make my food in 10 minutes time........ ummmm ok........ anyway giving them or the idiot who claimed to be the manager the benefit of the doubt I said "fine 10 minutes works for me" I ended up waiting an additional 25 minutes on top of the 30 minutes it took them to make my food and when mentioning that the food took longer then 10 minutes the manager claimed that they tried looking for me everywhere and couldn't find me for my order (I was the only car outside in the parking lot waiting for their order, really?) I said no this order should be free and that I had waited almost a whole hour for my food and explained how the service here was atrocious and she proceeded to tell me no. I told her and everyone else that this was horrible customer service and took my food and left. When I got home the pizza was good but they ended up putting tomatoes on my sub when I told them from the beginning no tomatoes. I don't care how good the food is they will not be getting my business anymore this will be the first and last time I go here for pizza ever!!!!! Not because of the food but because they lost a customer due to horrible service and being mistreated. read more

A friend posted it online and it looked great. So I went to try it, not easy to get to from interstate. The pictures I seen showed the small dime sized pepperoni ( Old World for pizza lovers). Told them it was my first time trying their pizza and got just pepperoni. When I got my pizza it had the bigger blan pepperoni. I am a sauce fan and the sauce was also blan. Over all the pizza was ok but not worth going out of my way to have it again. read more

Great quality pizza at reasonable prices. I could tell the pizzas were loaded when I was carrying them out to the car, because they were heavy! The pizzas were loaded with toppings and tons of cheese. Yummy! The staff was friendly on the phone and when I picked up my order. If I'm ever in the Obetz area and crave some good pizza, I won't hesitate to visit this staple. read more

Solid pie. Not bad, not astounding. Great nostalgia in the area for pickup. Love the vibe inside. Would definitely get again

If I would give 0 stars I would. I ordered a M pizza, a 2 liter sprite and some wings. First the food did not arrive for 2 hours after I had ordered which SUCKED. I called at about half an hour wait because it was taking way too long than other pizza places. It took 10 calls until someone finally answered me. Lady brought our food and didn't even bring the 2 liter sprite and told us "she would bring it back". Never came back and I will never be ordering from here again! read more

The pizza was surprisingly good here. I ordered the old world pepperoni and the crust had a nice crisp to it. They put a good amount of sauce and cheese on the pizza as well. We also ordered a salad and breadsticks. Both of those were just average so I would most likely not order those again. The lady who answers the phones and takes your payment is not the friendliest, but that is not necessarily a deal breaker. I will be back to get more pizza! read more

A little late posting this review. This place is a hidden diamond. They have an amazing pizza and good service. Folks are so nice and friendly but the pizza makes this place a must try. I've had their pizza in just about any way you can have it and it's always been outstanding and very delicious. read more

I'll be sweet and to the point. Place SUCKS! Crust is horrible. Its obvious they try to pile on the cheese and sauce to cover the horrible sauce. I get a house salad, and it comes in a Styrofoam cup....what a JOKE! Online prices different than quote over the phone. Serious, go to the local grocer and get a freezer pizza. I chose them over a chain. Wish I wouldn't let my "let's support the small businesses" Thinking get I the way again. I had Dominos on speed dial, but called possum instead. Never again. You've been warned! read more

Local favorite. Great people making great food. Fair Warning to all those that see the hot wings and think "eh, I'm sure they're just regular ole' buffalo wings." NOPE. They are absolutely, spicy as all get out. Me personally, I love them; however I wasn't everybody's favorite person at a party when they started biting into them and sweating to death, having not been warned. Probably not a safe bet for kids though. Aside from that fact, everything I have had on the menu has been fantastic. From meat lovers, to the old world pep, to the killers appetizer; It's the best bang for your buck anywhere near Obetz, especially in comparison to the mediocre pizza chains around. Support your local family business!! read more

Just tried this place for the first time and im more than impressed. I got some bosco sticks with 2 of their signature sauces and they were to die for. 100% will be returning as one of the staff members named chelsea made sure i got my food quickly and all of the things i ordered were present, such a pleasure to work with. This pizza has lots of cheese on it. There are probably other qualities worth mentioning, but I'm not going to mention any of them just to put a point on the fact that this pizza has enough cheese to choke an obese Green Bay football fan. Is the cheese good? Yeah. It is. All of it. If you like cheese, this pizza will deliver it. If you don't, then you won't like this pizza. Or any pizza really. Why are you even reading a review of a pizza restaurant anyways? Do you just really care about my opinion that much? If so, check out the movie "Demolition Man". It's awesome. Anyways, this pizza is alright. You might like it a lot. Try it if you want. Or whatever. read more
