Great time here! Came in a few weeks back for dinner on a Wednesday night, and we were easily seated. Our waitress, Yolanda was very friendly and attentive to our table. Inside of the restaurant is really cool, and the architecture is really neat as well. Giant bar and plenty of tables and booths. Small parking lot of note but likely would need to park on street if it's busy. Food itself was delicious and came out quickly! My favorite was the mushroom pizza. Sat at the bar. Great service, friendly bartender. We ordered the jam session to start. Forgot to a take a picture but there are 4 bites on the plate. The main event was the almond pesto pizza. Added roasted chicken for protein. It was so good. Didn't skimp on the toppings which and every bit was excellent. As you can see from the picture I started eating and almost forgot a picture. The first thing I want to do is shout out the staff. My party of two arrived after 9:00 on a Sunday night when the restaurant closes at 10:00. They took care of us kindly and quickly and we were out of there by close. We shared a three course meal, and everything was good but not as great as other reviewers feel. The Buffalo Cauliflower was talked about highly. Did I eat it and leave no crumbs? Yes. But the sauce was slightly too vinegary to be top-notch, and a little more crispiness would have helped it stand up to the Buffalo sauciness and ranch dipping sauce. The Butterscotch Budino is another fan favorite. It was cool... In between we had the double bacon three cheese pizza. As a huge fan of both cheese and bacon, I would never speak poorly of this pie. I also will not sing its praises. Again, we finished everything and were content. I will say that the interior is impressive. Stopped in to try their vegan pizza for lunch! They have a lunch special which is something I'd stop in for again. The downside is nothing is clearly labeled vegan except one pizza but for the veggie burger it's unclear if it can be made vegan, there are options to sub impossible meatballs but unclear if that is for vegetarian or not. I am a masochist. Apparently. I've been to other locations of Harvest and not had great experiences. But I'm willing to give them second and third chances. And, though I knew that service could be slow at Harvest, I had some time to kill, so I came on by. Handy location just off High, not in the most built-up area. I came mid-afternoon on a weekday, and it was not busy at all. There's a small parking lot there; I'm sure at peak it gets crowded, both in the lot and inside. Had the place pretty much to myself. The menu is interesting. I had tried their burgers and pizza before and not been impressed, so I went with something else: the yardbird sandwich, a fried chicken sandwich. The description was interesting. The actual item was good-not-great. The bun was, well, industrial? Doughy, Wonder bread blah. Absolutely nothing special. The chicken was overcooked. A lot. Almost burnt on the outside, dry on the inside. A big piece, to be fair. It took a long time to make, and I figured, hey, fried chicken takes a long time. But I should've said something a little sooner so that maybe they would've stopped cooking it before it got ultra crispy and as dark as dark chocolate. The toppings were good - pickles, sauce, kale. It was fairly tasty, and I ended up eating all of it, but I would not get it again. The potatoes that come as a side, now, they were excellent. I've had them before. I would get just those. Service was fine, but a little slow, considering they were almost empty. But friendly, and she checked on me once or twice to see if I needed a drink refill, etc. I think the service speed is a management thing- either from understaffing (didn't seem true here today) or just instructions to staff. The price was not bad. I have complained about their prices before. About being charged exorbitant amounts for just-okay food. But the last time I was at a Harvest was seven years ago. Since then, prices all around have gone up a lot. And it is now, relatively, not as overpriced. Pretty much what you expect to pay at any sit down restaurant for a chicken sandwich. So, the third visit to Harvest was not a charm, but wasn't awful. The usual slow service. The usual decent food at a price that suggests better food, though not as overpriced as before. They seem to be doing well, and I'm happy for them. I don't understand why they're doing well. There is better food available all over town for similar prices, with better service. Columbus is lucky to have many food options. And this, well, it's one of them. read more

Absolutely fantastic! Was visiting Columbus from California for a conference and came here for dinner with a coworker. Everything sounded phenomenal it was so hard to decide what to get. Eclectic menu with lots of variety. We ended up with the arancini and buffalo cauliflower for appetizers. Both amazing. My colleague had a massive burger with the most delicious potatoes on the side. I had tried Harvest Pizza a couple of years ago for takeout and was so disappointed, I have never been back. I had a friend encourage me to give them a second chance because it is one of their favorite spots. So hesitantly, I ordered very similar things to what I had before. To my surprise, the pizza was much better. I found it to be delicious. The crust was very good. I still wasn't impressed with the Brussel sprouts or the other pasta dish. Come for the pizza, stay for the buffalo cauliflower! Harvest is so much more than a pizza place. It isn't my favorite pizza in Columbus, but it's up there. I'll take a Spicy Yuma any day. But their buffalo cauliflower, oh my WORD! I never even LIKED Buffalo cauliflower until I tried Harvest's. Cauliflower-- fried or not-- has absolutely no business being that delicious. They somehow get it so lightly crispy-fried. And the SAUCES!! The Buffalo sauce and homemade ranch are works of art. Pro tip: get a side of each for pizza dipping! Their other sides, like the marinated cheese curds and arancini, are really fun, too. I also really enjoyed a pasta I ordered once just to mix things up. I've never had their salads or subs, but my BFF is obsessed with the Italian sub and the salmon Caesar. Don't typecast Harvest into just another pizza joint. My last night in Columbus, I thought I would go back to the place where I had dinner the first night I moved there. It did not disappoint. My fiancée had the vegan peppers and pepperoni pizza, and I had the spicy corn pizza with vegan chorizo. Wow oh wow were they both good. We had a corner booth with good service and ambiance. Went here as a surprise dinner. GREAT happy hour! $5 cocktails and appetizers! Nice venue with booth seating and a nice a bar area. Started with libations, I had the Harvest Mule which was delicious. The perfect mix with just the right amount of ginger beer. Next was the meatballs, three plump, yet firm golf ball sized chunks of seasonded goodness atop a bed of parmesan and marinara. We got here for happy hour so I started with the margarita and the meatball appetizer. The margarita was delicious. It was flavored mostly with hibiscus and a hint of habanero. This is one of our favorite Columbus restaurants. We go about once a week, and it's consistently delicious, always great service, and it's such a chill vibe! We get the Quattro Formaggi with tomatoes and it hits every time! You literally can't go wrong with your order. Visited Columbus for a wedding this past weekend and found Harvest because it was close to our hotel. Their high rating is deserved. The restaurant was cute and had a good playlist going while we were there. We got the cheese curds which were so yummy! I got the house chop salad, which was only the half and was so much food, and loved it! My fiancé got the Italian sub which was also so good. It was a little messy but so worth it. I've been to the Bexley location a couple times since moving back to Cbus, but always ordered other things and not the pizza... like the meatballs & polenta which is freaking amazing. Neopolitan style is my fave so I'm confused why it took this long to visit the Brewery District location when it's so close. The pizza is really good! I've tried several so far and they were all very good, excellent crust and high quality ingredients. I had their Buffalo cauliflower once, which were the best I've had, and their kale Caesar salad. It's usually good but to night was heavy on dressing and needed more balance. I tried a non-pizza dish for the first time tonight- the Yardbird sandwich. Utterly amazing - crispy exterior, moist interior, all flavors came together great. A bit tucked away from High Street, this place has some amazing pizza! This was my third time going and we have always been seated right away and had great service. I love their blackberry gin spritz drink-it comes complete with a blackberry and pink tint that makes for a very aesthetically pleasing drink. My favorite dish is the mushroom pizza, which, if you aren't incredibly hungry or are a light eater, could easily be split between two people. Outside seating is very limited, but they have plenty of space inside and the atmosphere is nice! It's never been too loud to have a good conversation either. I was able to try the arancini balls and the Brussels sprouts appetizers - both excellent tasting, hot and delicious. Met my brother here in Columbus. He was visiting ohio state w son and i drove up from cincy. Definitely underwhelmed by food. Nice reasonable priced menu. Decent service. Great lunch special even on Saturday. However the salad and pizza that i got was ok. The kale caesar was nothing special. The thin crusted pizza was disappointing. It was served too quickly and by the time i got to it it was cold. We wanted to talk after 2 years of not seeing each other due to covid. Mine was supposed to be pepperoni and sausage. This is my second favorite harvest pizza location by far. You would think that they would all be the same, right? Sort of like how chain restaurants typically have the same menu items across the board. Well, this is definitely not the case. This is one of the things that I appreciate about this particular local brand. The menu items at each of them are not the same, and if they are. They don't taste the same. The meat with the polenta is freaking PHENOMENAL! Go forth and get that to set your meal off. You will thank me for this later. The textures and flavors play off of each other well. The meatballs melt in your mouth, and the polenta is rich and creamy. If you are a vegan... I have no suggestions for you, my apologies. The fingerling potatoes are to die for, and I love this option instead of the traditional French fries. Burgers are pretty damn great--especially the one with cheese. I love the cheese I love the crust I love the toppings I love the sauce The pizzas. I will say this. Are in my TOP in Central Ohio. I am a huge pizza aficionado from New York City. So trust me. Love this location on front street which is so much more spacious than the old place in German Village. There is a small little parking lot with additional street parking. The pizza is always tasty and crispy here. They have good lunch size pizzas and you can customize it as well. The house chop salad is also surprisingly good with the chickpeas and house dressing. Here's what I had: The Buffalo Cauliflower- this is no exaggeration, the best buffalo cauliflower I have ever had. I think it's the sauce, its amazing!! We couldn't stop eating it. I have been to Harvest Pizza several times and this time is no different than every other visit. I have sadly only included photos of the drinks, but that says more about how hungry my wife and I were than anything else. Hopefully, that also says a lot about how delicious the pizza was that I forgot to take a photo. The Pizza is always great and I appreciate that they let you do a half and half pizza as well. One caveat to the half and half pizza is that it needs to have the same sauce and cheese. Which is understandable. We went with the Fennel Sausage and the Mushroom pizza. Not even a mushroom fan and the pizza was great. My all time favorite is the Monaco, definitely a must have. I also think they do the best crust on a pizza around. Crispy and thin, but also crispy and doughy when you get to the crust. You just have to try it. Also, Stephen is quite possibly my favorite Bartender/Bar manager in town. He is always so nice and personable. It goes without saying that he and his team make some of the best cocktails in town. You definitely have to try this place. I know everyone has their own opinions on best pizza in town, but they definitely make a good pie. Not to mention I have always experienced great service and friendly people. read more
