Cheese and basil pizza and cheesy bread sticks

After reading reviews, we were excited to try this place. The vibe was fun when we walked in...eclectic, different, funky and loud. Lots of different types of slices, and a true NY slice--large and thin crust. Not much sauce on the pizza to really get a taste of the sauce, and the pizza was so dry, it was almost hard to eat. The crust had a LOT of rosemary seasoning. If you don't enjoy rosemary, you won't like this pizza. They have two sauces. The garlic sauce was out of stock, so we opted to try the unicorn sauce. We were informed the unicorn sauce is known as "slut sauce." We were told it is supposed to taste like everything--it tasted gross in my opinion--weirdly sour and spicy. We also weren't super appreciative of the slut comment in front of our kids--Just a little odd. Overall, the pizza is dry and mediocre and is just simply average all around. Actually, I would even say it's a little below average. The service was quick, but don't expect a smile. The restaurant didn't feel dirty, but there wasn't a single clean table. All had sauce and crumbs all over them. This place has potential, but it just wasn't a win for us.

Went here today for some pizza and bowling. They have a great pick up service in between Pins. It is such a good spot to have!! I love their plain ass pepperoni and all the sauces!! Order at the counter and bring it back while you bowl!!!!

Something for everyone! Family friendly! For all ages! Pizza slice and drink combos with choice of dipping sauce. Friendly service and a nice seating area inside and outside! I'm a seasoned Yelper and I give this place five stars

Food is always awesome. Cheese and large Pepperoni are the best pizzas in Columbus. Service at Vine St, the only one I go to is A-one.

We…read morespent over $80 on a to-go order that included two Gina's Gem, a big cheese pizza, and a salad. The pizza arrived cold but was still edible. Unfortunately, the Gina's Gem was nothing like what was advertised. I was expecting warm, crusty bread with a roasted cheese dip on the side so you could tear pieces of bread and dip them into the cheese. Instead, the cheese had already been spread directly onto the bread and toasted together. Because of that, the bread lost the texture you would expect--it wasn't crusty or dippable at all. It ended up soft, almost soggy, and the cheese was baked onto the bread rather than being a dip. The whole appeal of the dish was supposed to be the warm bread with the roasted cheese to dip into, and that part was completely missing. Included with the bread was a hot honey that missed the mark on being "hot" and some kind of jam. These options just made everything even more soft....which should have been impossible. The salad was actually the best part of the meal - even though it was a bit spicy. I've always had good experiences here in the past, so this was a big letdown--especially for the price. I just wish the to-go version of the dish matched how it's described, or that expectations were set correctly when ordering. Unfortunately, this experience made me lose all trust in ordering from here again. I can't believe we waited until exactly 3pm (when they opened) to order this.... At the very least the pizza should have been hot.

You ever walk into a place and think, there's no way something special is hiding in here?…read more Yeah....That was me. An old tavern in Columbus. Dim. Historic. The kind of spot where you expect a solid beer and maybe some decent bar food. What you don't expect? One of the best Detroit-style pizzas of your life hiding behind a window in the back like some carb-based speakeasy. And when I say hidden, I mean hidden. No flashy signage. No "best pizza in town" ego. Just a quiet little window cranking out square pies that deserve a standing ovation. I ordered the classic red top -- already a bold move -- and added pesto because balance matters and I like to live a little. The result? Beyond reproach. Fresh, loaded toppings. Sauce with depth. And that crust... that beautiful Detroit crust. Crispy edges with that caramelized cheese halo, but still chewy and pillowy inside. The textural contrast is what separates amateurs from legends -- and this? This was legend-level execution. Easily top 3 Detroit-style pizzas I've had. And that's not a casual statement. If you don't understand the life-altering power of true Detroit-style pizza, I regret to inform you... you have not been living. Go find the window in the back. Trust me.
