So we were at a yelp event at Winston's across the street and decided to try this pizza spot because we didn't feel like cooking and wanted to try a new pizza place for us! Well I'm so glad we did! THEY DONT TAKE APPLE PAY OR ANY CARD PAYMENTS!!! cash, Zelle and Cash App only! Baby they was packed and busy! So we got the 12in 3 topping pizza and it was $17.70! Everyone was really nice and did tell us their sauce is garlic forward and huni he wasn't lying! NORE DO THEY SKIMP ON THE TOPPING THANK YOU BTW! We got pep, sausage and ham with extra sauce and they put the extra sauce on top OMG!!! IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! The sausage was perfectly cooked and the ham was crispy! There is an area to sit down and dine with some decor on the walls and it was very cute! Now they do have take out options also because baby they was pumping them take out orders out like hot cakes! So glad we found them because we definitely will be back! My crust was a little too hard for me but that's ok! Everything else was still delicious! And customer service was amazing!

Since we were in the area we always want to stop in at Dante's Pizzeria. We had a great experience during our last visit so we wanted to patron this establishment again. It did not disappoint. We ordered the 14" pepperoni pizza and it was delicious. The atmosphere is amazing and I loved the rotating Budweiser Clydesdale horse and carriage light fixture. Christina the owner is the best. So friendly and attentive to everyone. Love this local mom and pop shop. Will definitely visit again.

Small pizzeria with a big heart feel, you can watch them prepare your pizza upon entering the restaurant. Food; Started with Salad, which was very very good loaded with fresh ingredients. Pizza, ordered a pep, sausage and mushroom was delicious, the meats were all tasty. One of my top places so far. The beer was cold, and hit the spot. Service, everyone was great.

Walk in, take a deep breath, and boom--you're hit with the scent of molten cheese and decades of pizza glory. The waiting area is roughly the size of a coat closet on a budget airline, but somehow five locals and a delivery guy are packed in, swapping life stories and sauce recommendations. The staff knows everyone's name, favorite topping, and probably their cholesterol levels. It's like a secret pizza society, and we got a taste of the initiation. We grabbed a large pepperoni and sausage, and it was perfect. The kind of pizza that makes you suspicious of all other pizzas. Crispy, cheesy, greasy in that glorious "I'm-living-my-best-life" kind of way. If you're looking for sleek modern vibes and kale on the menu--keep walking. If you want pizza made with love, served in a spot where the 1970s never left, and nobody wants them to--welcome home. I took some extra "action shots" while I waited for my pie - they all looked very good

For years I've been hearing that I need to try place. So last Saturday was the day. I was in the area wasn't really hungry but I did want to try. I ordered a pep, sausage, Ohio, garlic and banana pepper. As I was waiting on my order the incredible smell got to me. So once I got to the car I couldn't wait to try. Of course I burnt all the skin off the top of my mouth but still so good. Let me tell you that one peace wasn't going to do it so as I was driving I took another and another piece of like I said I was driving and this thing incredible crust held up. Not one topping ended up in my lap or on my shirt must of had 5 or 6 pieces on my way home (pic of what was left when I got home) The balm e of flavors was near perfect, maybe a bit more garlic would have been nice for my liking would have been nice but like I said near perfect. It wasn't lacking in any other topping and cheese. The staff was extremely friendly My only regret was not trying this place sooner. Will definitely return. Also I will just add I purposefully didn't eat it all cause I wanted to see how good it was the next day. Loved it out of the fridge also micro waived a few pieces turned out very good but air frying was perfect. Can't go wrong with this place.

This mom and pap pizzeria couldn't get any better. The pizza is one of a kind. The sauce is delicious and it's the perfect ratio of toppings and cheese. They used to be cash only but now accept Venmo. My only wish is that I had discovered them sooner!

We tried Dante's for the first time this week. I'd rate it a solid middle of the road option - we got Ezzo pep as our topping because it's one of my favorites. We also got a quart of salad, which came pre-dressed in their oily dressing but lacked flavor. Overall, it isn't terrible but it wouldn't ever be my first choice. It was just a bit greasy and soggy for me. As with most of my pizza reviews, I like to mention how it tastes day-old cold from the fridge. The outside crusty pieces were best, albeit a bit chewy. Overall, it was fine but not great. The best thing was the ezzo pepperoni. Also, they have the flimsiest boxes I've ever seen. Like a donut box. Better than the Bexley pizza joint that wraps it in paper, but barely.

Every time I pass Dantes, I say I'm going to order so I finally got myself a Friday night pizza. Right now, they're pick up only. It took about 20 minutes for 1 pizza, which was pretty awesome. I grabbed a couple of groceries from Weilands, and my pizza was ready. Good cheese to sauce ratio. Plenty of topping. I really liked the crust, thin but still a little chewy. I like something between paper thin and doughy, and Dantes nailed it. I think I found a new spot!

We…read morespent over $80 on a to-go order that included two Gina's Gem, a big cheese pizza, and a salad. The pizza arrived cold but was still edible. Unfortunately, the Gina's Gem was nothing like what was advertised. I was expecting warm, crusty bread with a roasted cheese dip on the side so you could tear pieces of bread and dip them into the cheese. Instead, the cheese had already been spread directly onto the bread and toasted together. Because of that, the bread lost the texture you would expect--it wasn't crusty or dippable at all. It ended up soft, almost soggy, and the cheese was baked onto the bread rather than being a dip. The whole appeal of the dish was supposed to be the warm bread with the roasted cheese to dip into, and that part was completely missing. Included with the bread was a hot honey that missed the mark on being "hot" and some kind of jam. These options just made everything even more soft....which should have been impossible. The salad was actually the best part of the meal - even though it was a bit spicy. I've always had good experiences here in the past, so this was a big letdown--especially for the price. I just wish the to-go version of the dish matched how it's described, or that expectations were set correctly when ordering. Unfortunately, this experience made me lose all trust in ordering from here again. I can't believe we waited until exactly 3pm (when they opened) to order this.... At the very least the pizza should have been hot.

Both pizzas left us speechless as well, I really don't think you can go wrong with whatever you order. Service was great, food was prepared quickly, and there is plenty of seating and a bar area. Can't wait to be back!

The sandwich was honestly the highlight of the meal. It was delicious, and the pizza dough as the bread was such a unique touch that you really don't find at many Italian sandwich spots around Columbus. The pizza itself was just okay. As you can see from the picture, the toppings weren't distributed very evenly, so some slices had mostly sauce with barely any cheese while others had way more toppings and cheese but less sauce. I also wish the pizza had been cooked a little longer overall because it was pretty floppy and doughy. One thing that makes it tough is that once the movie starts, it's hard to go back and ask for changes or anything since the theater is packed and getting in and out of the seats feels disruptive. We'll definitely be back to Grandview Theater because we love the experience overall, but next time I'll probably stick to the sandwiches and popcorn and skip the pizza.

You ever walk into a place and think, there's no way something special is hiding in here?…read more Yeah....That was me. An old tavern in Columbus. Dim. Historic. The kind of spot where you expect a solid beer and maybe some decent bar food. What you don't expect? One of the best Detroit-style pizzas of your life hiding behind a window in the back like some carb-based speakeasy. And when I say hidden, I mean hidden. No flashy signage. No "best pizza in town" ego. Just a quiet little window cranking out square pies that deserve a standing ovation. I ordered the classic red top -- already a bold move -- and added pesto because balance matters and I like to live a little. The result? Beyond reproach. Fresh, loaded toppings. Sauce with depth. And that crust... that beautiful Detroit crust. Crispy edges with that caramelized cheese halo, but still chewy and pillowy inside. The textural contrast is what separates amateurs from legends -- and this? This was legend-level execution. Easily top 3 Detroit-style pizzas I've had. And that's not a casual statement. If you don't understand the life-altering power of true Detroit-style pizza, I regret to inform you... you have not been living. Go find the window in the back. Trust me.

I took her advice and was also able to add up to three toppings at no additional charge (mushroom, olive and sausage). I took a seat and waited about 10 minutes for my personal 10" pie, which came out hot and with a friendly, "Thank You, Sweetie." I ran the pie back to my hotel and opened up the box.
